I arrived early, but after an hour the car hadn't been touched yet, and there wasn't any update unless I asked. That part was frustrating. So, they ended up rushing my 10-day follow-up inspection. Gave the car a quick rinse and handed me the keys. What was the point of driving down from Carlsbad??? Over 3 hours wasted. For comparison, I had a great experience at their Kearny Mesa location previously, so I know what they're capable of. This location is stretched thin, which seemed to impact communication and overall service. I was not the only customer in the lobby feeling this way. Given the type of clientele they're working with and the pricing, I was expecting a bit more consistency and attention to detail. Their follow-up consisted of more sales pitches of coupons for services I already had done. Would have been nice to have the discounts PRIOR to the work! We had been quoted anywhere between $5,000-$15,000 to replace our sliding patio doors with French…read moredoors. Our garage is detached, so we could not lock our old patio doors, meaning if we wanted to use our garage, we either had to leave the house unlocked or walk around the block to our front door. We were told by all the other contractors that our doorway was a weird size, and that they were unable to install the doors without cutting into our drywall and stucco and removing our patio stairs. We were also told this would be a project that took multiple days. I posted our other quotes to Yelp to see if other contractors could beat it, and Sivan responded. Oded from Sivan came in and confirmed what I suspected: That what we were told by other contractors was wrong, and that they could easily replace our sliding patio doors with French doors with a lock, and that it could be done via retrofitting and would only take a matter of hours. Everyone at Sivan was easy to work with. My husband and I frequently have meetings during the day, so it's hard to have a call about house stuff. Everyone at Sivan was able to communicate via e-mail and text so we could handle things while in meetings, and they were super responsive even though we sometimes took months to respond because we had a baby since we originally reached out to them. We were able to get our doors done for $4,298.80, which was the best quote we had from any contractor and included labor, materials, and a warranty. In sum, we highly recommend Sivan if you are looking to replace your doors!

Tech Formulas does Amazing work Mario is a great guy. He'll tell you what he can do for you and what's possible. My paint finish looked nice before. After Mario finished my car. The paint looked amazing, like a mirror. A lot of the side door key scratches were not visible. Marks that were apparent before I couldn't see. When Mario got done with my BMW he thought the finish came out pretty good. I thought it was amazing. I was shocked what a very talented detailer could do with my car finish. Mario and his team are incredible people. If theres something that can be done to beautify your car he's the man who knows how to do it. He has a lot of integrity and is honest. Mario is amazing!!! This was the 6th car that he detailed with the Teflon. He did such an amazing job on my car. Looks better than brand new. I had some "spider web" swirls from another detail. I drive from LA when I can to get my cars cleaned by Formula Finish. No one else cleans my car with the same detail or care. Idk how they do it but my car stays clean and smelling fresh longer than when any other company has washed my car!! read more

The team got to work right away and gave it a real effort -- but in the process, they discovered something I never knew: my car (purchased brand new in 2019!) had apparently been repainted at some point before I bought it, which made the job much more complicated than a standard detail could handle. Rather than cut corners or give me a mediocre result, they were completely upfront with me and explained that an auto body shop would be better equipped to do the job right. They even recommended a nearby shop they trusted. Here's the part that really got me: after all that time and effort, they didn't charge me a single dollar. I was already stressed from the accident, and the kindness I was shown here genuinely made my day better. This is a team with real integrity -- they care more about doing right by their customers than making a quick buck. I'll be back for everything this place *can* handle, and I'll be recommending them to everyone I know.

We had our brand-new G-Wagen (dream car!!!) ceramic-coated by OCD and love the result. I have never had any car ceramic coated before, but wanted to protect my investment and did tons of research on coatings, and whether or not it was necessary or not prior to finding OCD. The reason to get it from what I can gather online is to protect the paint by allowing water and contaminants to bead and fall off your car without leaving water stains and dirt. It is easier to keep your car shiny and clean and looking new after ceramic coating than without it. I initially wanted to do the inexpensive thing and get a ceramic coating material off of amazon with high reviews and just apply it myself but upon reading about how to get the best result with ceramic coatings, you really need a shop to decontaminate the paint, clean it to perfection, smooth out any imperfections that they left behind in the factory, and then apply the ceramic coating. I also learned that not all ceramic coatings are the same. Dustin came through with a fair quote for the amount of work involved (he was by no means the cheapest by far) but I appreciated that he did the work in a shop with lots of hexagonal LED lights that illuminate imperfections instead of just doing it in a parking garage or in my driveway. I feel like you can get a more precise result that way. He is also particular in holding your car for 24 hours to let the ceramic coating cure, and other places let you have the car right away after a couple of hours of work. It just shows that he understands the material and how it works much better than some of these other highly-rated but cheaper places. After the service was done, Dustin took time to explain after-care and gave me a few products to take home, and provides a free car wash 7-14 days after so they can examine their work and to make sure that all is well. Providing service after they get paid is the hallmark of a good business. I chose a middle option as far as ceramic coating amount and price, and even though Dustin did talk to me about other things I could do (at more cost) I didn't feel like the upsell was too strong or distasteful. We will plan on using Dustin's mobile wash service in the future which he only offers to people who have had ceramic coatings with him. I found out when doing research online that if you don't keep the car washed properly the longevity and efficacy of the coating will not last as long. Again, a full endorsement of this high quality business and we are looking forward to enjoying our beautiful car for years to come.

I've driven past this place countless times, and when I finally decided to wrap my Rivian, I reached out for a quote. Timing probably wasn't ideal since the owners were on a short vacation, but they still made the effort to follow up about a week later. That already said a lot to me. We ended up having a pretty long phone conversation--funny enough, not just about the wrap, but about life in general. By the end of that call, I felt confident I had found the right shop. Throughout the entire process--from picking the material to final installation--they were transparent, detail-oriented, and just genuinely honest. That kind of communication goes a long way, and I appreciated it. As for the wrap itself, it came out incredible. The matte satin finish on the Rivian looks exactly how I pictured it--if not better. The edges, corners, everything is clean and precise. I've seen enough wraps to know that even the best material can look bad with poor installation, and vice versa. In this case, they clearly nailed the prep and install because the final result speaks for itself. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a wrap. If you're on the fence, it's worth stopping by and talking to them in person. That alone might make your decision a lot easier.
