I've been a loyal customer for several years - haircuts with various barbers have ranged from ok to very good, and I like the convenient location, on-line booking, and availability of other services. Always appreciated the complimentary edge-out between haircuts. Was surprised to find out recently at check-out when I booked another service and included an edge-out, the edge-out was $15 in addition to the cost of the other service because I was not a walk-in. This was not disclosed to me at the time of my phone booking. This might have been a four star review until this unfortunate experience. Another day was quoted a 2.5 hour wait for an edge out, which is supposedly a "free drop-in" service. Time to take my business elsewhere!! read more

I've gotten my haircut a few times by Mitchell and have had great haircuts. HOWEVER, Finley's has become a scam of which they have a few good barbers and the rest of competent useless. Anytime another barber has cut my hair, they LITERALLLY just cut more and more hair to avoid their own mistakes. do not recommend, unless you like paying a lot for a shit haircut. read more

Excellent place. Finley's was recommended to me and I'm glad I followed through on it. Booking was extremely easy, I was able to select the services I wanted online and choose a time slot, even for the next day. Location is really easy to get to and they validate parking at the AMLI garage nearby. They have a really nice lounge in the back with comfortable chairs and they offer you coffee/wine/beer/water/soda while you wait. There's an old Galaga arcade and a big screen TV to keep you occupied as well. Michelle is a licensed barber and took care of shaving my head with a straight razor and she was a real professional. She asked how I had done it at home, offered pointers and tips to make it easier, but to be honest, I'm more likely to just go back to them just because of the experience I had. Afterwards, Luz took me to her chair, trimmed and conditioned my beard and continued with the helpful advice for getting the same results at home. The whole process took about an hour and it was well worth the price. I'll definitely be recommending them to all my friends and keep using them for all my hair care needs. read more

Mickey accomplished both on my first visit. When I first saw Mickey, at the 620 location, I told him to do what he thought would look good and work with my hair, blah, blah, blah. He nailed it. This place is practically a utopia. The staff is relaxed and very friendly, and the wait was short with an appointment. There is a nice quiet lounge in the back with comfy leather chairs and complimentary drinks. I had Joy cut my hair and she did a fantastic job. She was timely, and also thorough, and double checked with me to make sure it was exactly the cut I was looking for. Clark Kent would be jealous of this cut. 11/10!! After doing some research I went with Finley's and couldn't be any happier with my choice! It is super easy to set up an appointment online, after arriving a little early I waited in there super nice lounge area with complimentary beverages (gotta love good free beer!) Gave this place a try since it's close to home. 1 star for ease of making an appointment: I booked pretty last minute and there were plenty of time slots open (warning sign that it wouldnt be the best) 1 star for beer - you can have a beer or a k-cup while you wait on their awfully uncomfortable benches That's where the stars end. Barber was awkward, and strange, and not in a good way. His haircut was very physical. Most barbers have a subtle (or verbal) way of getting your head into the angle they need, the one here was very physical pushing/pulling my head into place. Conversations were awful, and I couldn't wait to get out of the chair. As for the haircut, I left the chair feeling like it was ok, but took a few pictures and was not a fan. Final nail was just a week after having my haircut, it looked unkempt again. I typically go 3 weeks between cuts, and just one week into my Finley cut, it looked a mess. I'd suggest trying somewhere else, but you won't walk out completely hideous if this is the only appointment you can get last minute. read more
