Do not have a holiday party here! The things that felt like Christmas ... 1. The room was freezing and was being heated by a space heater. I guess it was good if you wanted to show off your winter coat. 2. The food, not good, so more leftovers if you wanted to donate to the homeless for the holiday. 3. Scrooge, yeah the guy that kept creeping around talking about money and when he thought he didn't get enough of a tip , he harassed everyone and then just added it after the fact. 4. In my short stay in Hyannis, I was here twice! Watching the Patriots and then just before going home. Tasty food with a great menu of Pub favorites. I had the Cuban, everything was on point! The staff was polite, establishment was clean and just a short walk from the ferry to go to the Vineyard or Nantucket. Seems to be a local favorite where people come on in and are greeted with a genuine hello and a smile. Definitely made me want to come back during my short stay on the Cape. This is the type of place that feels like it can be fun no matter how busy or quite it is, or how big or how small your party is. There's plenty of space to sit (and various types) or stand, plus seating outside in nice weather. With something like 28 beers on tap, plus ciders, there's something for everyone (and flights are available). We all enjoyed the food as well. I got a special, the chicken pesto sandwich, with fries, which was fresh-tasting and delicious. The fries are unique too, they're thin-cut steak fries, crisp without being crunchy but still "meaty" on the inside. They have an assortment of board and party games available as well. They also have their own parking lot just beyond the entrance. I only get to Hyannis about once a year, but I intend to make this a regular stop. read more

Let's talk about my 'flight' at Finn's Taphouse. I got 1, 5, 8, 16, & 17. Number eight, the spike lemonade, is absolutely delicious! I could see myself sitting on the porch with spike lemonade and ice and drinking it and falling off the rocking chair. It is so good. If you like Jiffy peanut butter, then order number 16. Another delectable treat. I almost tried chewing it because I thought I was eating a peanut butter sandwich. I can't remember what number 17 was, but it's OK. Not a big deal to boast about. Some type of Porter. This is my first time ever having a lobster roll. It was delicious. The xoleslaw was the best that I ever had. Sorry JoAnn, this one beats yours!!! Since they made a mistake and drop the pizza, they gave us some pretzel bites while we were waiting. Ooh La La. Another tasty treat. The pepperoni flatbread is pretty good. Not a big deal. and even at military discount for Coast Guard personnel. This is an absolute place that we have to come back to again. 5+ star. read more

I'm a big one for craft beers and breweries, so when we went to the cape, we decided to stop by Finn's Craft Beer and Tap-house. It is a decent tap house with a fair selection, though the selection is a little underwhelming. We got a couple of beers and some nachos to share. The beer selections were from breweries around the cape and Massachusetts as well as some of the other standard options. The nachos were decent, though not out of the world. I'd say average at best. This is a good place for first dates or "getaway" dates. It's not too noisy and you can find a nice corner to sit and talk with a drink. Service is average. Rating is 50% for food and beer selection, 30% for service and 20% for everything else. Food: 3 stars @ 50% = 1.5 Service: 3 stars @ 30% = 0.9 Ambience and everything else: 3 stars @ 20% = 0.6 Total = 3 stars. read more

$16 flights with 5 large portions. Dollar oysters and a band on Thursday night. There's a big patio with games and outdoor sofas and bean bags for lounging as well as inside seating available. I was so excited and surprised to find a place like this on the Cape. I stopped in here because they had non-alcoholic beer options. As a pregnant momma who misses beer more than anything and a husband who also misses stopping at these types of places, it was necessary to stop in. I did not know non-alcoholic IPA's were a thing and I was honestly shocked at how tasty it was. This place does not make their own beer but they have an extensive menu of beer options from all over the country, which I think is just as fun as a brewery. Plus, this allows them to focus on their food...which was absolutely delicious. Their fried chicken sandwich (whichever way you take it) hit the spot. Also, they have the most unique fries I have EVER had. Thin and crispy but cut like a typical thick-cut fry. Hard to explain but very easy to devour. It's classic "bar food" as far as the menu goes, but you won't leave with an icky feeling. This food is fresh and not greasy. It goes perfect with any type of brew you're craving. They have an awesome outdoor space and plenty of indoor seating as well. Bring your dog if you're sitting out on the patio...mostly so that people like me can talk to them the whole time. read more

Finn's is located near different shops and restaurants along a street. They have a wide variety of beers to choose from. My husband and I both ordered food off of their specials. I ordered the beef brisket grilled cheese which came with french fries. The grilled cheese was nice and crispy, but just a tad too salty. The french fries were very good and were flat potato wedges. My husband ordered a Veteran's Day bowl which included: mashed potatoes, corn, cheese, gravy and country fried steak bites. I first want to say that I worked as a bartender for many restaurants/pubs for several years and I understand what it means to be short staffed. This was my first time at Finn's and the experience was horrible. To first start with the positives...live band was great, nice bar/seating area and the facilities were clean. The negatives...beer was over priced. The taphouse was I Am guessing about 20% filled. Service was very bad. The lady that helped me kept complaining that the cook didn't show up but they were honestly missing more than the cook. My wings were warm. No one asked me if I was good after I finally got food after waiting over an hour. You could tell the bar tender did not want to be there. There was so much more wrong, I won't mention as maybe they were missing 3-4 staff. I will be asking locals if this is typical. If not I may try again. read more

Last night myself, my two girlfriends, and our kids went here for a beer and to enjoy the live music after dinner. We ended up in the dining room area and someone working there put cartoons on the big screen for the kids.
