French toast, home fries, chicken tenders, cheesy grits, and bacon.
    Julie M.

We are staying with a small group at the Margaritaville RV Resort in Pigeon Forge and decided to try the breakfast buffet, served from 7 am to 11 am in the Fins restaurant across from the front desk in the Lodge. They have a great selection at a reasonable price; $14.95 for adults and $9.95 for kids 5 to 10, under five year olds eat free. They have coffee, cocoa, cranberry and orange juice, soft drinks, bacon, chicken tenders, home fries, thick sliced fried bologna, bacon, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, assorted pancakes and French toast with warm syrup, selection of dry cereal, biscuits and sausage gravy, fresh fruit and yogurt, sliced bread, bagels, a selection of sweet muffins and English muffins. I had a blueberry pancake that had real blueberries in it, and since their scrambled eggs had black pepper in them, I asked if I could have some made fresh without. The chef was happy to oblige me and brought out a huge plate of hot, freshly scrambled, real eggs. The bacon was well done, which I prefer. Hubby had a big slice of french toast, which was delicious, cheesy grits, fried bologna, orange juice, and fresh fruit. He wasn't a fan of the fried bologna, but that's just because he's not a bologna fan to begin with. The service was stellar; both the hostess and the waitress were on top of things and double-checked to make sure our wants and needs were fulfilled. Overall, a tasty breakfast buffet at a reasonable price.

Food was delicious and the service was very good. As soon as we arrived they greeted and quickly lead us to our table. Another plus is the open later, importante for a tourist town!

    "Med rare 10 oz steak"

Honestly should've taken the hint when the guy at the front door couldn't be bothered to look up from his phone to seat us. Best part of this whole experience was our server (Luis) absolutely a rockstar. Food was disappointing and steak tasted like pork. Menu lies but they somehow get away with it by keeping the description at the bare minimum. (See "10oz med rare" steak picture). I would avoid and make the walk to go somewhere else. (Shoutout Louis tho)

I got vacation steak and it was good. I loved the blend. I asked for a medium rare and it was medium. Well that's OK though it was very good. My brother got the nachos and they looked amazing. He had a bunch of them and it was really good. My mom also got a really good meal. Overall this is great. It has good margaritas according to my mother I would 100% come back great choice by my brother for his birthday the service was also amazing. We sat outside. It was right on the river. It was great. We got to feed some ducks and see some cats 1,000,000,000% come back.

The lowdown: plenty of seating, decent prices, good menu choices and live music made this my favorite restaurant during my vacation. The reason I gave 4 stars is because it had the dirtiest bathroom I have ever seen! During my most recent stay in TN we decided to visit The Island @Pigeon Forge and eat at Fins Bar and Grill to mix some tropical paradise with our mountain vacation. I called ahead to find out that they don't take reservations, it's a first-come first-serve restaurant. We went for dinner around 5 pm and were happy that we were able to be seated, outside right away. The food was excellent, service was great. The only complaint I have is that the women's restroom was disgusting. There was no toilet paper, I had to ask someone to get it. Also, the garbage cans were overflowing and there was paper towels / toilet paper on the floor in each stall and out near the sink.

Easy to find as you walk into the hotel lobby.

This was our first time to The Island and we were looking for an easy lunch spot and we found it! As soon as you cross the bridge from the parking lot, Fins will be on your right. You can see the outdoor seating, in fact. Fins is located in the Margaritaville Island Hotel so you either meet a greeter outside or walk in the hotel and hang a right and you're there! Side note, restrooms are very close and located in the hotel lobby. We came on a Monday afternoon. Plenty of seating available so we seated ourselves and we're quickly greeted by our server. As it became busier a greeter began to seat guests. We ordered fish tacos and the kids ate cheeseburgers. Everything was very tasty. Portions sizes were good. Like I said, we were looking for an easy lunch spot and this was definitely what we were looking for. The indoor space is open and airy with all the windows and high ceilings. The bar area is nice and open, too. It was a chilly day so no one was sitting outside but it looks like a great place to be when the weather is nice.

When you want to get drunk, but you also need your drink to look electric blue and taste like raspberry, you come here. I'm not the biggest fan of sweet drinks in general, and especially not sweet alcohol. But I wasn't about to pass up an opportunity to taste some of Old Forge Distillery's moonshine and gin. They also make vodka, whiskey and rum. The gin was good! It doesn't taste like traditional gin, because they age it in bourbon barrels, so it has a little bit of a caramel taste to it. (In my opinion.) The moonshine and the cream liqueurs are where you will find the crazy flavors. I think my favorite was the coffee moonshine, which tastes like a wonderfully spiked black coffee. Samples are plentiful. The bartender told us which ones were crowd favorites, and also recommended some that I would not have picked myself. They also have a huge gift shop with lots of tchotchkes, plus bottles of their goods to take home with you.

Instead of being turned away or treated like a burden, we were immediately welcomed and found a great spot upstairs with awesome views of the village. The food and drinks completely delivered. The beer was fantastic, and you could tell the bartender actually cared about the quality of the pour (you have to try the Blacksmith). We started with the soft pretzels and beer cheese (excellent), but the absolute standout was the Celtic Spice Bag for the entree. I can't recommend it enough--you have to try it. I've been to a lot of Irish pubs around the world, including plenty in Ireland. A lot of places think that slapping some Claddaghs, harps, and four-leaf clovers on the wall while blasting the same five pub songs we all know by heart is enough to make an Irish pub. Boudicca's has the decor and the music, sure, but that's not why we'll be coming back. When you walk into a real pub over on Salt Hill in Galway Bay, what actually makes the place special is the atmosphere. It's the genuine welcome from the people, the care behind the bar, and food that feels unique. Boudicca's captured that exact feeling right in the middle of Tennessee. The staff was fantastic, the vibe was perfect, and we had an absolute blast. Highly recommended.

Maybe "pet tolerant", but not "friendly": - hostess was visibly & audibly afraid of dogs. We have two sweet chocolate labs, not exactly menacing creatures. Why in the world would you send a dog-fearing employee to get us seated? - we expected an offer of a water bowl for our pups. Nope. Had to find a server and ask for one. - the outdoor area we sat at is enclosed & gated. A door separates this outdoor area from the inside dining room. In spite of this, 10 minutes after being seated, a separate employee came out and simply said "do yall have leashes?" 1- of course we do, you saw us walk them in. 2- no greeting or "hey, I'm blah blah"... cold & impersonal. 3- why bother with the cost of a gated enclosure if pets have to be leashed anyway? We've been to many pet-friendly restaurants. You are NOT pet-friendly. You happily took our money for the meal, and added a 20% gratuity yourselves (which was not earned btw), but you barely did enough to accommodate our pups, let alone be considered "friendly". We didn't feel they were welcome, and certainly no "friendly" environment experienced. We won't be back. See how Calhouns defines "pet friendly". Y'all might learn something.
