Very overpriced and the food was very bland. I think I sprinkled salt on each bite of my spaghetti. Although the portions were large it did not make up for the lack of flavor. There was a 45 minute wait even though the restaurant looked fairly empty. Our waiter was very nice and gave us complimentary Prosecco and tiramisu which was very nice (but again, did not taste great) For the food and prices I can't give this place a strong recommendation but if you're in a pinch it will do! read more

I read the reviews and I KNEW BETTER! But I tried it anyway. Service was good... but the pizza was terrible and the price was outrageous! $82 for an outing with my husband and step brother. Just ridiculous. And then, after looking over the menu again after reviewing the check, I noticed that the pizza my husband ordered could have been $5 cheaper if the waiter had mentioned a specialty pizza instead of make your own (he got all the ingredients except for one thing they could have just left off) I don't know. I'm interested to see how long this place lasts as I doubt people who live in the harbor will frequent it, but I guess enough tourist come through that won't know any better.... smh read more

Worst meal I've had in ages. I went in expecting Olive Garden level Italian but this was terrible. $24 for fried mozzarella balls and a side salad sized shrimp Caesar. Service was awful and we had to beg for drink refills and even a few food orders once more than half of us had been served. Avoid and just go into Olde Towne for a decent Italian meal. read more

The food here was just okay. Very over priced for food that tasted average. As much as 8nhate to say it, you get better tasting food at Olive Garden. My meatballs were so full of filler that they didn't have the taste or texture of meat. The calamari appetizer was more fried veggies than calamari. Had a very good experience here; service was great, food was delicious, not a problem in sight at Fiorella for me! My boyfriend and I shared the crab and shrimp hush puppies (great), the 4 cheese pasta (also great), and a 12" BBQ chicken pizza (even greater!) I believe the food is slightly pricey, but for the view of the harbor and the fact that it's a full service restaurant, it's not too bad. Came in for Valentine's Day.. my date made a reservation for 8:30 (of course we expected a crowd on one of the busiest restaurant days of the year) so it was fine to have about a ten minute wait for our table. The manager urged us to head to the bar for a glass of Prosecco on her, greatly appreciated, however the bar was WAY too packed to even attempt to get the bar tender's attention. Once seated, we chatted and people watched for about 10 minutes.. and then another ten... *no wait staff has come to introduce themselves, nor offer water* ..another ten. I quit counting. Clearly they were understaffed/were not prepared to have such a crowd (most of the staff seemed irritated and exhausted; understandable but don't make it obvious). Once someone finally acknowledged us, we ordered two drinks each (2 ipas for him and 2pinot Grigio for me) (since it was clear we would be left alone for a looooong time thereafter) the lasagna (maybe $19?) and the shrimp Alfredo ($25 ). We ordered spaghetti meatballs, lasagna, pizza supreme & and a diy pizza with pepperoni & pineapple. The spaghetti and meatballs doesnt taste exceptional. The sauce is ok but the meatballs is so bland. The pizza taste fresh. The dough is soft and a little bit chewy and the crust has a good crunch. The service is good. The fennel sausage pizza is delicious. The crust is a flavorful, crispy thin crust and the fresh mozzarella brings a great creaminess to the flavor profile. Paired with a glass of wine, it's hard to resist. The restaurant is a bit loud, making it hard to hear others who are speaking, but it is a fun atmosphere. No way these salads should have cost this much money. The bread pudding was the best, I have to admit..... Maybe they do pizza better, but dinner tonight was a huge disappointment. While the Caesar salad was great, the fettuccini Alfredo and the seafood scampi were completely bland. We took the lid off the Parmesan cheese container to try to enliven it. (Note there is another reviewer who said this same thing... bland food... and we did the same thing, reaching for the table side condiments to try to save the food!). The cheese pizza my daughter had was okay but not great. For three people including two basic alcoholic drinks it was well north of $100 and we were very disappointed. This is what happens when a careless corporation makes food. You get a cynical attempt to appease the masses with such horrible execution that you literally walk out without finishing. The pizza is a terrible cardboard pita-like slab doused with ketchup-like sauce and cheese. The calzone was literally the meatball pizza folded in half. You pay extra for that service. I am not kidding when I say run away from this place. It is not even passable as food intended for gluttonous tourists. It is bland, poorly executed and overpriced. The wait staff all looked miserable and the decor was a cynical attempt to recreate what I can only presume is a corporate interpretation of what a family-run Italian restaurant might look like. Traveled to DC for a Conference and wanted a good pizza, close to my hotel. Don't trust the photos as this pizza was horrible. $40 for a 12" pie and two small fountain drinks. I really enjoyed this restaurant. It was a very inviting atmosphere. It tries to give an old time Italia feel. For an appetizer we had mussels that if they were a bit more garlicky, they would've been perfect. I ordered chicken Alfredo. The pasta tasted freshly made in house. The Alfredo was creamy and had a nice lemon acidity to it. The chicken was tender and moist. I also enjoyed that at the end of the meal, they wait staff go around and give every member of the table a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. The one good thing- Service was stellar!! The hostesses & waitress were lively, polite & attentive. Opposite experience from many other commenters, so...that's bizarre. Maybe I'm just extra nice & it forces niceness from others...? Hahaha. Buuuuuut....the food was....bad. Really, really bad. Just one example: my "shrimp scampi" consisted of overcooked, rubbery shrimp on top of thick, soggy spaghetti....and was topped with a bland, red, marinara-like sauce. Shrimp scampi isn't even remotely like "shrimp with spaghetti & red sauce". Super weird. Our entire table of 4 left 90% of their food untouched. I just got a pizza to go, their "Lots of Pepperoni." Is this a joke? When I opened the box I was surprised to see something that looked like a frozen pizza from the supermarket that had been heated up. The pepperoni was all concentrated towards the center, none at the crust. Some basil seemed to have been thrown on as an afterthought. It was dry and, amazingly for a pepperoni pizza, somewhat bland tasting. I told my friend, "I don't mind price if it's worth it, but to be of such poor quality AND overpriced? Honestly, how dare you call yourself an Italian restaurant when your pizza is worse than a cheap, store-bought frozen pizza. Don't call it "Lots of pepperoni." With movie night at the harbor going in, we were lucky to get a seat on their patio. A beautiful sunset was our backdrop during our dinner. The hostess was super warm and friendly. Our server was attentive and timely. Prices are high but it's in the heart of the harbor, so you are paying tourist prices. The food was alright. The pizza looked better than the pasta and salad we had. I left with a negative experience due to being being charged $5 for anchovies on our Caesar salad. The menu did not say there is an additional charge, just said upon request. When I asked about the charge, the server did bring it to the attention of the manager but it remained on the bill. On our way out, I spoke with the manager about this and she said they will address it on their new menu. I'm not sure why I'm fussing over $5 when I paid $7 for a Stella. If you have money to burn and don't mind paying a little extra, the patio is a good place to chill for some people watching. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat with my boyfriend. We were seated right away during a busier Saturday afternoon. The menu is pretty small, limiting to a few appetizers, salads, pizzas, calzones, and pasta. We ordered the margherita pizza and it was delicious. I have a hard time finding a margherita pizza with the perfect tomato to basil ratio- but this one was great and the crust had the perfect crunch. It was a good size to share between two people with light appetites! The price was just right too, $14 for the pizza. Solid dinner option in National Harbor, but don't expect super authentic Italian food. Came here on a Saturday evening, and luckily there was no wait. The menu has family style options for the salads and appetizers, but not for the pasta. That seems quite odd to me. Pasta is the perfect family style food, but okay. They have a $24 Prix-Fixe option in which you get to choose an appetizer and an entree. I wish they also included a dessert in that, but not the end of the world. I ordered the Fiorella Salad and Spaghetti & Meatballs. The Fiorella Salad was actually quite good. Baby romaine, burrata mozzarella, pine nuts, and some type of vinaigrette dressing. It was fresh and a good portion. The spaghetti & Meatballs was just okay. Definitely not homemade pasta and the meatballs lacked flavor, seasoning. It was a good size, and the sauce was fine, but just nothing that will be that memorable. The waitress brought over complimentary bread with olive oil which was fresh. I like it when a basket of bread is brought over rather that one individual piece of bread, but maybe that was a good thing since I didn't fill up on bread. My friend ordered the eggplant pizza with goat cheese. I tried a slice of that and it was okay. I liked the thin crust, but the sauce wasn't anything special. The service was good overall, but I didn't like that the waitress brought over the check before we were finished with our entrees. It was like she was rushing us out of there. I made a comment to my friend about it, and the waitress overheard me. She apologized, and said there was no intention to feel rushed. Apology accepted. I stopped here during a work trip at the recommendation of a friend. Sat at the bar and the service was fast and friendly. Ordered the open face lasagna, which is quite different and I found to be very good. Not sure I would agree with the criticism of the lasagna in some reviews. It seems people love it or hate it. I loved it. My only complaint would be that no bread came with the meal. Italian is my favorite cuisine, and it should always be complimented by a good piece of Italian bread. Went for Dinner Food - 4/5. The starting bread was soft with a nice bite. The Fiorella Lasagna is absolutely delicious featured on a unique plating for lasagna. The open-faced nature makes it so that you don't get an overwhelming amount of pasta with every bite, which I think could sometimes be an issue with lasagna. The meatball and sausage are extremely tender and the tomato sauce adds a nice mellow flavor. The only downside is that the outer edges of the pasta are all hard and not desirable. Service - 4/5. Friendly and attentive. I was sat at the bar on a busy night but the service was timely and the waters were refilled automatically. Value - 4/5. The lasagna sits at $28, which is very high price for a pasta dish but the amount of food they give you is huge. Over Priced. I had the Cured Italian 3 Meat pizza. It tasted pretty good but it was around $22. It is very thin crusted but the meats were good. I had some sort of Gargonzola cheese salad and it was very good. The service was really good but the seating is pretty bad. I am 5'9 and I could barely get in and out of the booth. The ambience is cool and the decor nice. There is something weird though. There is one way glass in the bathroom so when you are peeing you are looking into the restuarant. Fabulous meal, fabulous service! This is a nice little Italian restaurant/pizzeria right down near the waterfront. I was greeted immediately as I came in and seated; very soon thereafter my server Tara introduced herself, provided a glass of water, took my drink order and gave me a moment to look over the menu. Everything looked tasty but since it was my first time here I went with something familiar to me - in this case the Baked Shrimp Alfredo. In what would prove to be a regular thing here, another server delivered bread to my table while I waited for my main dish; in fact I was helped or checked on by no less than five different employees during my visit. That was in addition to Tara's non stop high end service - she checked on me herself several times and never let my drink get even close to empty (delivering follow up drinks in their own mini carafe that I could pour from at my leisure). Most importantly the main dish was perfection itself. The pasta was hot and fresh with just the right consistency; there was a generous portion of shrimp; and the Alfredo was creamy and so delicious it took all of my good manners to avoid licking the plate. As a final note while the prices are not 'cheap' they compare VERY favorably to those of the other similar quality restaurants in the National Harbor area so you can give this place a shot without busting your dining budget. Not a bad spot near the harbour. It has a nice rustic feel to the environment. The wait time for a table was over 40 minutes. It was a Friday night, while a major conference was in town. We had a group of 5 people and ordered a number of varieties of food. The wait time for the food itself was pretty decent. Two of us orders pizza- it was one of the best pizza I have had the privilege of enjoying. I enjoyed the margarita pizza. The fresh mozzarella was heavenly. Basil placed on top was fresh. I think my only call out was the tomatoes. The grape/ cherry pizza were not chopped. I definitely lost a few tomatoes. Three of them rolled right off the pizza which made it difficult to enjoy the margarita flavor of the pizza. I would say I was extremely impressed by the waiter. Great customer service. 03/31/2023 - A Google search for a seafood pizza led me to Fiorella. A quick call and response to this pizzeria excitedly led me to order this seafood pizza. Realizing the challenge of parking at the harbor on a Friday eve, I struck out with walking sneakers and determination. Street parking and $3 later I was walking to Fiorella. Upon entering the store, I noticed that it was very clean and welcoming. Greeted promptly by the host, I received my $29 seafood pizza and was on my way. Upon opening the box, I was in awe. The 12inch pizza had 3 whole shrimp, lots of calamari and small crab balls (seemingly frozen). Later tasting the pizza, the sauce offered no flavor and the seafood tasted like oven baked rubber. Unfortunately, after spending $32 it was a $2.00 can of soup for dinner. Maybe their other pizzas are mouthwatering, but I would say pass on the seafood pizza and make it yourself. However, the menu does not represent an actual dish they serve. For instance the "A lot of pepperoni pizza" on their menu had one or two pepperonis on each slice. One could think "a lot of pepperoni" actually means a lot of it on the pizza, but in this restaurant. The rest of the dishes were of mediocre quality. Fiorella is a really cute place. The decor, drink menu, and pizza selection were all well thought out and are excellent. The later hour are also a plus. I visited Fiorella a few weeks ago for a birthday celebration for my friend's daughter. It was very nice and they did a fabulous job of accommodating our exceptionally large party. I would have enjoyed a little more light in the place, though. It was pretty dark, and I absolutely do not enjoy eating in the dark. I dined here with 7 friends on a Sunday evening while we were visiting for the weekend (for the Crab & Beer Festival). It was probably one of the very few restaurants that didn't have long waits out the door in National Harbor so that was a plus. I had the baked-in crusted seafood pasta. It's your basic calamari, shrimp and mussels with pasta cooked in a red sauce, then the dish is topped with their pizza crust. The overall dish was good but nothing spectacular for the price. The portions here are pretty huge though so it kind of makes up for it. Most of the entrees and pizzas could probably be shared by 2-3 people. Just about every single person in our group had to get our food boxed-up. If you're in National Harbor, in the mood for some Italian and don't want to bother having to drive out somewhere else, they're a decent option. On an unseasonably warm day in early March I decided to take my elderly motherly to walk around National Harbor. We stopped at Fiorella knowing nothing about the place since they had outdoor tables. The menu I thought was a little limited as they mainly have pasta, salad and pizza (very limited appetizer and dessert menu items). We decided to split a plain pizza and it was really tasty.
