    Curry chicken and beef
    Sharon H.

Sorry I don't know the official titles but I order the choice of 2 to go. Curry chicken and a beef dish served with rice. I also ordered lumpia & they let me try the Jackfruit which was really good. Everything was very favorable and I will definitely return again. The owner informed me that they have more vegetarian dishes on the weekend.

    Crispy Pata

I had such a wonderful experience at Chickboy! The food was absolutely delicious--most especially the Crispy Pata with the special sauce. Perfectly crispy outside, tender inside, and that sauce was unforgettable. My mom was visiting from California, and I brought her here--she loved it so much she immediately asked me to take her back again! That says everything about how good the food is. The chef is also the owner, and you can truly taste the love and care he puts into every dish. We'll definitely be back for more--thank you, Chickboy, for making our meal so memorable!

i like it so much and the food is wonderful and even the people . the ambience is filipino vibes

My parents picked up a half bushel of mixed mediums to kick off the start of summer and they were bussin. Heavy, meaty, juicy, and delicious. Even though it was raining outside, the inside of our house was full of warmth and laughter as we picked crabs all night long. These are what memories are made of.

The side of skillet mac and cheese my wife ordered, was still sizzling. Once it cooled off it was a to tier mac and cheese. Im not sure which cheese blend they use, but it was so tasty. Very sharp flavor. The crab cakes were really good. Some would prefer them. Lightly seasoned and lots of crab. I thought they were good. My wife prefers them with more spice and sauce. Now the shrimp and grits. OMG! top 5 shrimp and grits ever. Had andouille sausage in it. Perfect huge shrimp and a Cajun gravy. So good. If you're in national harbor- come here! Since we had our little girl with us, she made sure her chicken tenders came out before the rest of our food without us even having to ask. It was such a thoughtful touch and definitely appreciated. She checked on us throughout the meal, but never so much that it felt overbearing. We decided to try the chef's selection of oysters, and Tiffany walked us through each one. They were absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be coming back for happy hour because I need those oysters again. I ordered the crab cake sandwich, and it was perfection. It was packed with lump crab meat and paired with crispy shoestring fries, which I absolutely loved. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the margarita. It leaned a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but that certainly wouldn't keep me from coming back. The atmosphere was really nice, and even though we sat inside, the restaurant was busy because of the beautiful weather. We saw several people waiting for tables, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation, especially on a nice evening or over the weekend. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with great food, excellent service, and we'll definitely be back.

Yo girl been trying to eat a little healthier and was looking for some baked or grill fish. This restaurant did deliver. The grill tilapia and broccoli was pretty good. The portion size was on point. My son wanted their crab cake burger which I had to taste and it was delicious. They offer mumbo sauce with their fries and it is banging. Got a nice little kick to it. The corn on the cob is so so. Its not bad but I just had better. Its too greasy for corn on the cob too. So confused about that. Any who, I spent $40 for everything which was reasonable for 2 meals. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. The cashiers here are super friendly which is always appreciated because its seems like people are losing basic manners. So thanks ladies for your kindness it didnt go unnoticed. Would I recommend this restaurant, yeah I would. Its not spectacular but its pretty good and you get enough food for the price. That itself is worth it. So go and visit so we can keep restaurants like this open in our community.

There are surprising number of chicken options here for a place called, "This Is Seafood", but not quite as many seafood options as I hoped. I was really looking forward to getting an order of fried scallops for lunch and I was a little disappointed they didn't have them on the menu. I decided to get the Combo #4: 3 whole wings, 6 fried shrimp, and my choice of 1 piece of fish and side dish. For my fish, I chose fried catfish and for my side I chose hush puppies. The combo also came with a fountain drink. I decided to mix their house-made lemonade and house-made iced tea and it made the perfect half-and-half. The wait wasn't too bad, as the food was being freshly made. It was piping hot and crispy when I received it. Those shrimp were huge! Some of the biggest fried shrimp I've ever had...And not those butterfly shrimp either. Whole shrimp, and the tail was removed so I didn't have to worry about accidentally crunching on one of the shells. The catfish was delectable! Perfectly seasoned, delightfully crispy, and absolutely melted in my mouth. So good. I'm coming back for the catfish if nothing else. The wings were perfectly fried, nice and crispy, but they were a bit too light on the seasoning for my taste. And the mumbo sauce tasted too similar to barbecue sauce. I did not like that, so I ended up saving the rest of the wings until I got home to put my own mumbo sauce on them. The hush puppies were also really good. I like that they were fried perfectly and weren't greasy... Even after reheating them. Overall, my lunch cost me about $25 and it was enough food for at least two meals. Can't beat that. I'll be back for that catfish.

Solid 3.5 Reading of…read morethe review prior to mine had me concerned enough to not even want to try this place. Luckily, I looked at that review as an outlier and decided to try anyway based on many of the other favorable ones. Ordered the stuffed salmon. It comes with crab meat and a single shrimp sitting on top. Salmon was very smoky which was very nice. There was a tiny bit of shell in the crab meat and it was a tad dry (as was the fish). The dipping sauce had way too much apple cider vinegar. Food was otherwise seasoned very well. The order was prepared and delivered to me outside in around 5 min so I suspect the food was probably sitting for a bit under heat lamps. Next time I'll get here immediately after opening. Smoked red skinned garlic mashed potatoes was my side, along with sauteed cabbage. The mashed potatoes almost look like dressing due to all the seasonings. Everything was a little over $30. The area where this restaurant is located is strictly no-frills commercial industrial park. The kind of area where you typically see abundant auto repair shops and assorted trade commercial businesses, like glass install or tile. Nothing retail or sexy back there at all, and it's adjacent to Weingartner Chevrolet. The service also is (no-frills) friendly, grab and go after placing your order via their qsr menu. No place to sit because you aren't staying. The folks can cook so I would actually check it out again. They have interesting lamb entrees and some other stuff I'd like to try.

I swapped the usual fish for ocean perch (bone) and received THREE tiny, toddler-sized fillet strips and that I paid an up-charge. Then came the shrimp situation -- 3 "spiced" steamed shrimp that had zero seasoning and tasted rubbery, plus 3 battered shrimp that showed up as rock-hard, nearly black coconut shrimp. Completely unacceptable. I'll give credit where it's due: the roll, fries, and crab cake were decent. That's the only reason this isn't a complete zero across the board. But the second order sealed it for me -- those stuffed shrimp should have NEVER left the kitchen. Hard, burnt, overcooked, inedible... The mac and cheese was watery and running all over the plate like soup. Only the fried okra was halfway decent. Cameron's seriously needs new cooks and better management. This was a waste of money, and I won't be returning.
