Stopped in at 4:30 in the afternoon. Sat at the bar (Only 6 people in the room) and could not get served. Bartender was too distracted talking to the staff in the corner to never care about the new or existing customers. After sitting there 10 full minutes, I got up and walked out. The restaurant was full and their air conditioning was struggling to keep the place cool and not doing a very good job. Went here about a month and a half ago and loved it! Kids got to watch the planes and we enjoyed some good food. Went back today and it was a completely different experience. Took forever for the "waiter" to bring us a high chair... which he never ended up doing the hostess had to. Then he never came back after getting drinks (which were only water at the time) to give us menus. I'm honestly not even sure if he told us his name. After waiting 10 mins to even be acknowledged again we decided to leave. On the way out we passed said "waiter" and he didnt even both to say a word to us. Pretty awful experience from start to finish. Was quoted a 25 minute wait, but ended up waiting at least double this amount of time with no sort of updates from the hostesses. After finally being sat, we were quick to order as we had already scanned the menu during our wait. Unfortunately this did not help us get our food any faster as we then waited about an hour for a few burgers and a pizza. When our food finally arrived, we tried to change our outlook on our experience.. however were disappointed at first bite. After waiting an hour for our food, it came out COLD. A few people in our party have restaurant experience and can understand a busy night, but when the food was delivered cold and we were only compensated $3 for each meal, we were sorely disappointed. Nothing like eating a cold burger you waited an hour for... Will most likely not return :( read more

I haven't been to Firoentinos in years, I was pleased to see some familiar faces and enjoy the great live music. It's clear Shannon is still doing a great job with the floor staff. My food was great and Allison our server knew what I wanted before I even asked. She is definitely skilled. There is nothing like great food beautiful atmosphere and being able to have conversations with rose the co-owner about the menu and atmosphere. Twice this summer our soccer team has played tournaments in the Lancaster, PA area. Each time we had a team dinner at Fiorentino's Italian Restaurant at the airport, and both times we had a fabulous experience! Rob and Rose worked with us to book our large groups (40 and 60) at a time that worked well for everyone. We pre-ordered each time, and when we arrived, our food was hot and ready. The handled last minute substitutions and additions with ease. Everyone in our group of 60 was impressed that we all had eaten within one hour of arriving (we didn't keep track of our time on our first trip). No one had complaints about the food, and the private room in the back was the perfect size. Thank you, Fiorentino's, for another wonderful meal. We'll be back !!! read more

We went to Fiorentino's to checkout their outdoor dining area...we loved it! The food was awesome, drinks were delicious, and the service (from Bridget!) was great! This is one of the worst restaurants in Lancaster. I have only been here three times over the course of five years. Each time coming here I am optimistic, thinking that maybe the last time I got sick after my meal here it was just a bug. I do not believe it is just a bug because somehow every time leaving here I get some type of food poisoning. I would not order any type of meat or chicken or fish here because you risk getting sick. Sadly avoiding the meat did not work last night for me because I ordered very generic foods that one could not mess up. Well they did. And I had been sick all night. Happy New Years to me. We were going to see a movie, so we stopped in here for some food ahead of time. We allowed two hours to eat, pick up our tickets, and get seated at the movie. Big mistake. Our server had four tables, granted they were all seated around the same time. It took her 15 mins to even introduce herself. We (and the rest of her tables) were ready to order everything by the time she came around to get drinks. She immediately brought out our soup and salad, but it was all wrong. With its food as the exception, Fiorentinos left a bad taste in my mouth. It was my first visit and quite frankly, I can't say I'd be disappointed should it be my last. I dined with a friend (who ensured me that Fiorentinos was a great place) and upon arrival I was immediately offered to sit outside as "there was a band" playing that evening. As enticing as it sounded, it was also 95° out so I politely declined which resulted in being whisked over to a high top in the bar area. Being my first time, I was fascinated with the view of the planes descending and ascending in the port adjacent to the restaurant. As I noticed a booth open I pleasantly asked if it were possible to be seated at a booth and unfortunately my request was declined "it's reserved, sorry." So, I gladly say at the high top. Our server (the bartender) was efficient; lacked any type of social skills, but seemed to do her job at a mediocre level. After ordering our meals and receiving our bread we took notice that now there were 3 booths open (which would remain open for the duration of our unpleasantly rushed visit.) So naturally, I ask respectfully "Is it at all possible to move now? As there are a few booths open." "No sorry, they're reserved for another 15 min." Fair enough, I remained at the table I was sat at. The servers gathered gossiping at the register and watched as I ate and took noticed of the empty tables. I literally took two bites of my dinner when someone returned to the table "do you need a box for that?" Clearly they took notice of my body language and essentially tried to rush me out so I didn't call them out on the 3 open booths. HOWEVER, as I ate my meal, a group that was sat at the table next to me. The female saw the empty booths and asked her server "can we move to the window?" And they did. 40 minutes AFTER they told us it was reserved. Recognizing my disappointment NOT ONE SINGLE person in the establishment made any kind of effort to rectify the situation. There was a lack of customer service as well as management. I paid my tab and included the standard 20% tip, because while my experience as a whole was disappointing I recognized that it wasn't my servers fault even though I did make it very clear that I was unhappy. Did it really have anything to do with the fact that I didn't have a reservation? Did it have anything to do with the fact that there was only two of us instead of a larger group? Or did it have anything to do with the fact that I was the ONLY visibly non-white customer? Who knows? All I know was that I felt unwelcome. read more

We have been to Fiorentino's several times, the most recent was this evening after catching a late afternoon showing of "Murder On The Orient Express" at the Penn Cinema complex. We had reservations for 6:30 and were promptly ushered to our table. Our server was great, I'm just sorry that I didn't catch her name. We were served promptly but were not rushed. My wife and I independently decided on the same dinner (being married for 30 years does that), the Shrimp Scampi Rissoto, which was great. We will go back, great job by the staff! read more

Made a reservation and had to wait an extra 30+ minutes when we arrived. But I guess that was understandable. Got to the table and waited over 40 minutes for service. Plenty of bussers/waitresses walked passed us acknowledging us waiting but seemed to care less. Salt/pepper shakers on the table were covered in a thick greasy oil substances. You could tell it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, pretty gross. Also there was a lingering foul odor in the air that was present the whole time. We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but after waiting forty minutes we decided to walk out, walked past staff and nobody said a thing. Really odd experience it felt like it was everyones first night on the job. The place seemed like a disaster. I am trying to be polite but I can honestly say it was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. I would NOT advise anyone to eat here. Good things there was an awesome diner close by or the night would have been ruined! Also I can honestly say I'm glad I didn't eat the food based off of other reviews. Went here for mother's day as a group of about 15. Took a long time to get even our drinks, over 1:30 to get our food. Service was terrible and slow. My drink was never refilled, the waiter didn't come back to ask us how our food was or if we needed anything. Our Caesar salads came with some sort of Italian dressing on them, not Caesar (I guess they ran out) and were wilted soggy lettuce with croutons that came out of a bag. My main course was alright, nothing special. The bad part was I almost ate a large piece of plastic, about the right size to get stuck in my windpipe if ingested. It was sharp and right in my pasta sauce. When we informed the waiter, he showed the manager, and she came out and said "Oh, we know exactly where that came from, we use some sort of containers and a piece broke off one of them earlier, and we knew it would turn up somewhere" IF YOU KNEW IT WOULD TURN UP IN SOMEONE'S FOOD, WHY WOULDN'T YOU HAVE THROWN OUT ALL OF THE FOOD AROUND WHERE IT BROKE OFF?!? You would rather endanger someone's safety and possibly life by having them choke to death on a piece of plastic than throw out a few containers of sauce? I will never go back here again, there are so many other Italian restaurants that put this place to shame. read more
