It was our first time here and was perfect for date night. Server was very nice and attentive. Pisanos has THE best rolls. Theirs are alright. If you like not super doughy bread with a faint hint of garlic then you'll like fiore. Foods just alright. Chicken parm is the best item to order. Most of the pastas lack that rich flavor, kind of a thinner taste. House salad dressing was just okay as well, nothing close to special about it. Over all this place is okay and just a little pricey but not too bad. Chicken parm is the way to go though everything else just didn't leave me satisfied for a $20 dish( average price) but it's the perfect dish to split they give you a lot of foods worth. Have been here several times and usually it is good. Tonight, 4pm, not so much. First it took forever for them to bring water and menus. Then they spent a long time putting tables together for a large group. Took even longer to order. Then the large group came in and all efforts were focused on them. Soup finally came out but they forgot my salad, that I paid extra for. So had to try and get her attention, once again with the big table. Then main food came out and mine had the wrong pasta!! Ate it but pissed. The side of meatballs were cold. She never offered to grate Parmesan on our meals. Fresher than fresh can be. It's amazing what can come out if an old Pizza Hut/Inn these days. I ordered the salmon mezaluna and while they were out of salmon we subbed with Grouper....the freshness of the entire dish was to die for. They also served a Cesar salad with Iceburg. This was the 1st offering of such, but greatly appreciated. Would have given 5 stars but the knots were a bit over cooked. Will definitely return! read more

My husband and I went to Fiore's last for a celebration dinner. Upon arriving we were told we would have to wait 15-20 minutes for a table. We understood that and it appeared busy , so we sat at the "bar" and had a glass of wine. We were seated in about 15 min. They brought us a couple of garlic rolls which were delicious! The staff was so unfriendly, we felt as if we weren't welcome! no one ever smiled only acted rushed. The food was fabulous, although we were never asked if we needed more rolls, wine or anything!! It is a very small place and it certainly wasn't romantic as we had hoped. It was very loud. i tried several times to get a waiter or ANYONE to bring our check. This is the second time of me and my husband coming there. The food was amazing so we decide to come back for there pizza. The waiter needs to know about customer service. I had to get up and ask him to refill my tea they cater more to the regulars then people coming why? He made his rounds to all the other tables never came to our table. We tried Fiore's a few days ago and got takeaway so this review is totally on the food. Garlic knots - best ever, though varied wildly in size. Garlic forward with minced garlic, parsley and parm. Beyond delicious. Pasta Fagioli - good soup, pasta was al dente, white beans, seasoned stock with pancetta or ham in it. Delicious. Antipasto - lovely selection of ham, prosciutto, salami, mozzarella, tomato, artichoke hearts, olives and peppers. Overpriced for the size. Was very fresh. It fell apart with the entrees. Penne and Meatballs - pasta was overcooked. No excuse for that. Meatballs, although tasty, weren't browned but an awful grey color. Not cooked in the sauce either. The sauce was light but very oniony, no real richness to it, just a meh sauce. Not overly garlic though which is better than too much. It was rather insipid though, kind of watered down. Eggplant Parmigiana- very happy to see it was peeled eggplant but sliced very thin and not much flavor. It could have been so good too so that was disappointing. The side of spaghetti was overcooked as well. Tiramisu - tasty but overpriced - $8? It's Ocala, not a city. The price was a bit steep $60 for what I'd call very standard Italian food. Better than Olive Garden but that's not really saying much since all their food is reheated out of cryo-packs. I can't see myself ordering the pasta again but I might try their chicken and veal dishes next time. I'm not giving up quite yet. read more

So Fiore's moved since the last time we ate there. Now it is located further south on 441 across from the BP. This time the experience was great. I had a generous glass of Zinfandel while I waited for the rest of my guests. The table was charming, with fresh cut flowers. Very nice warm atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. Not what you expect from the outside (which needs a little landscaping!) Food was excellent. I went with plain spaghetti and meatballs. Delicious meatballs and the pasta was perfectly cooked. My daughter had muscles and could not finish them all. Her boyfriend had chicken parmigiana and finished every bite of a very generous portion. Food was well presented and not overly spiced. I took my wife to Fiore's Cafe as a date night. At the time i was still working in NY and commuting to see my family once a month. I wanted to go somewhere special, nice comfortable and date night ambiance so i found Fiore's Cafe. The environment was cozy, great lighting, and private table instead of chain restaurants with booths or picnic table type of seating. My wife was beautiful as usual and watching her eat her delicious as she would say "IITIE" meal you can see by her facial expression, her taste buds were on over drive with flavor. She got the Mozz sticks which were fresh and tasteful, and her entree baked ziti which she fell in love with at first sight. The serving would easily serve two . The chicken dishes are excellent and the pizza is always a good option. The crust is flavorful and crisp . An 18 inch pie will easily feed four . The salad greens are always fresh and crisp with a well balanced Italian dressing. The hot garlic rolls are delicious but if minced garlic isn't to your liking you can have the roll warmed with oil only. The staff is so attentive and professional. Have wanted to try Fiore's Cafe for a couple years and finally got there this evening. Why ever did we wait so long!? Small but very nice dining area, friendly and attentive staff, and fabulous Italian cuisine. The garlic knots served as an appetizer were incredible, large, tasty, and fresh. I had Fettuccine Carbonara w/Shrimp that knocked my socks off - quite possibly the best I've ever had. My wife's Chicken Parmigiana was excellent as well, and the size of the chicken cutlet was amazing. We both brought large portions home. The menu is extensive (all Italian style) and it was hard to choose among the many offerings. Can't wait to try some of the other dishes. Prices are mid-range.
