Annual pilgrimage to Fire and Smoke - 6+ years? And it might be the best yet! The staff is always super attentive and the bartenders skilled - so worth the visit. The steak this year was phenomenal- as were the cocktails and desert. I might need to change my work route to be here more frequently

Elk martini

Wow!! The food was epic. It was our last night in Myrtle and it was the best meal we had all vacation. Service was also on point. It's a must try!!

Tuna tower

My friend and I stopped here before our late dinner reservations and got various small plates along with our cocktails. The atmosphere of the gastropub was very nice. We sat at the bar to eat our small plates. We shared the tuna tower and some type of special empanadas. The small plates were pretty good!

Food and service was excellent. Such good flavor. I had the pork belly and my boyfriend had a pork chop. Pretty small portions but would definitely recommend!

Espresso martini for dessert.

Best meal we have had yet! Adam and Maggie took great care of our table of 20. Food was amazing.

Shrimp Madagascar

My wife and I decided to try this "off the beaten path" steakhouse in the northern end of Myrtle Beach. Our expectations were not high, but after dining we were pleasantly surprised with the attentive service and well put together eclectic fare. We enjoyed the creative menu that is not often seen in the Myrtle Beach area. The tuna appetizer was fresh and well put together. The shrimp Madagascar was a nicely portioned and had a pleasant array of flavors that complimented each other well. The Asian pear salad was on point being perfectly dressed with well thought out paired ingredients. The Elk chops were absolutely delicious and cooked to a medium rare as requested. The Wild Boar/Bison meatloaf was richly flavored and made for a hearty meal. We also enjoyed sharing the 10 layer cake with dulce de leche ice cream accompaniment for dessert. We will likely be back for the food in the future. Overall, we give the food and service five stars; however, the ambiance needs a lot of improvement. The place was definitely outdated and appeared dingy. Carpeting and upholstered seating made for a musty, uncomfortable experience that made me want to jump in the shower immediately upon arriving home. This place has HUGE potential and we are happy to have stumbled upon it.

Good but expensive would be my overall description. We were looking a places to go in Myrtle Beach and this one popped up as a good option. There were four of us 3 of which only eat chicken and seafood and their menu appeared to be perfect. We walked in without reservations. The hostess asked if we had them, we told her no. She looked around the restaurant (which was 90% empty) and said I think we should be able to get you in and sat us right away. Our server came over right away and had such a great personality. I think she made the experience actually. She was pretty sassy yet very good at her job. The menu was decent, however, the two specials they had were Crab cakes (1 or 2) and Scallops. We all opted for the Crab cakes (2). We also ordered a dozen oysters which was fantastic. We also had salad and a seafood gumbo type dish. Their cocktail menu was also good and they have a really nice selection of bourbon if you are into that. The downfall and why I didn't give it 5 stars is the cost. 6 crab cakes 3 side salads 4 cocktails 1 seafood gumbo type dish 12 oysters Came up to almost $500 Somehow that seems off to me. I eat out a LOT and we have paid for peoples food a LOT but IDK $500 for what i named above seemed just a bit high for me. After reading a few other reviews before writing this I see I'm not the only one that feels this place is pretty pricey. Outside of that, it is very good.

The owner stopped by our table multiple times. He and our waitress were so nice to our son, who I think was the only kid the in the restaurant. They explained how the food was made, making it overly clear how much care went in to everything they brought out. Their bruschetta bread and rolls are both made in house - and everyone loved them. I'm gluten free and they were able to accommodate with multiple multiple options. The menu had stars next to all the options they could make gluten free and it was SO NICE to have so many options. Even gf breaded chicken parm! I ended up trying the chicken fiorentina, which was excellent but am hopeful I can try the parm some day. Definitely go and meet them and have yourself a GREAT Italian dinner!!

Old school. Proper. The sort of spot where you mind your business and enjoy your meal, because whatever's going on across the room is none of your concern. They don't waste time getting you sorted either. Straight into it with a soup to start, name escapes me but I can still taste it clear as day. Silky, rich, proper comforting stuff. The kind that makes you stop mid sentence and give a little nod of approval. Then the homemade rolls arrive, warm, soft, and dangerously good. You tell yourself one and done, but let's be honest, that's never how it goes. For the entrée, I stayed loyal. Chicken Alfredo. My go to whenever I'm sizing up an Italian spot. And mate, this one delivered in full. Creamy without being over the top, seasoned just right, and put together like someone in the back takes real pride in what they're doing. No shortcuts, no funny business. The lady went for the trio, chicken, shrimp, veal, the full works. A confident order and she was well pleased, which tells you everything you need to know. Portion sizes? Exactly as they should be. Generous without being ridiculous. We gave it a proper go, waved the white flag halfway through, and still had a tidy bit left to take back to the condo. Arguably just as good the second time round. And then there's the service. Shoutout Sammi. Absolute star. Made a couple from Texas feel like regulars on their third visit. Attentive without hovering, sharp without being stiff. Just how it should be. Some places serve food. This place gives you a proper evening. Five stars. Locked in.

We were a large party of 16+ people, and the table was all set up and good to go when we got there. If you have a large party like that, do call and make a reservation. Located in a strip mall on Surfside Beach/Myrtle Beach (it is on the border of the cities!), Valentino's is an Italian restaurant with lots of choices of pasta, chicken, seafood, and veal dishes. Best part is that an entree comes with either soup or salad. Our server was Corey, and he did really well with the large party and keeping us happy. We got some alcohol such as wine, beers, and liquor, and water of course. Corey also refilled our waters well and constantly. For apps, we got 2 fried calamari, 2 eggplant rolenti, and 2 stuffed mushrooms. The Calamari was tender and enjoyable! For entree, I ordered Lingini with clams in a red sauce with pasta fagoli! others ordered chicken or veal saltimoboka, as well as marsala, and some specials. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, and some even took leftovers home as well. I know I definitely enjoyed my clams and lingini! pasta was cooked aldente and enjoyable! Even the soup was enjoyable as well! This time, everything was on one bill, and we paid via a credit card, and left a cash tip. Highly recommend this restaurant!
