Excellent pizzas and margaritas! We tried the buffalo chicken, veggie, and cheese pizzas. All three were great at the restaurant, and also as leftovers after! The parking is tight, but there is parking on nearby curbs. The only miss here is the 9:00 PM closing time on week nights, especially on summer nights with tourists in town! Another dinner at Best Pizza because I wanted a spot to watch the Padres win (yes, at least this one game vs. Dodgers). I love their pesto goat cheese pizza ans must remember that maybe getting two slices with my beer would be a good idea. I also LOVE their house salad. We came here before and really liked the vibe. We initially wanted to go to The Privateer, but it was super busy, we head on over here and it was super busy too but had seating. We ordered some wings, Caesar salad and a pepperoni pizza. It was all good, except the pizza took quite awhile to come, like over 40 minutes... so just be prepared if it's busy to wait a long time for your pizza. Taste and vibe are there. Great pizza at a relaxing location. I showed up here with a group of friends and it was very easy to find seating for us all. We ordered our food and it was all brought in good time, we got pizza, sandwiches, wings and a salad. Everyone loved what they got and I was really surprised with how good everything tasted. I had no idea what to expect but it was a good surprise. The staff were super friendly and my group ended up hanging out there till night time and the staff turned on the space heaters! I am now using them to cater meetings at work and the staff love the pizza and salads! They no longer have the Mac and cheese I used to love but I'm hooked on the garlic knots! I came back and tried their thicker, Detroit-style crust pizza with burrata and sausage (no hot honey) and thought it was delicious. The name of this place nails how the food here tastes. It was our last night in town and honestly I didn't feel like cooking so we decided to give the pizza here a try and I'm so glad we did. Not only does this place cater to your four legged friends but they have some of the best pizza in the planet. The sauce alone takes on a zesty flavor of it's own. It's a little spicy but at the same time not overly spicy toppings ratio was perfect and nicely cooked in a wood oven. The best way to describe the house salad was very similar to a Waldorf salad. Leafy greens. Julianne slices of apple, blue cheese, raisins and hopefully not peacans because I'm highly allergic but we did pick out the nuts since we weren't sure what nut we were dealing with. Our server was really nice and we sat outside since we had our two dogs with us. They do have a menu for dog meals for your dog to eat and tons of iced cold beers on draft to drink. This place is definitely with more than just a 5 star review it deserves a perfect 10 and I honestly don't ever find myself saying that about any of the businesses that I review but I can about this place. Honestly if I still lived in Southern California this would be my go to pizza place it would definitely be worth the 2 hour drive from L.A. so everyone you have to get down to Oceanside to try this place is promise you won't be sorry. Sometimes we will have dinner at another spot in South O but then go to Best Pizza for the cookies! They sometimes sell out FYI. Take one to go, or sit outside on the patio (they have heaters and its comfortable out there!) with one and add some ice cream. We tend to "dine in" at this location. At least once a month or so. It usually gets pretty busy. It's an open floor concept here. They've a side patio and picnic tables/benches that are away from the building for alternative seating areas. So you've got lots of options. We like the sausage with hot honey pizza. To drink I'll get something like the sexy pineapple. They've got good pours here. On occasion we get the order to go but it's always nice to sit and have it right after it's been freshly made. I appreciate their house salad from time to time. We've been to the Esco and Vista location as well. Pepperoni and buffalo chicken. The crust and overall taste was good, although I do prefer my pizza to have a fluffy soft dough with a crunch and extra cheese. But not bad and the taste was great.
