Another new lunch stop!
Pat M.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised today when I stopped in at Fire Roasted for lunch. There's not a lot to the restaurant, just a line to order and a few tables. Ordering is somewhat similar to Boston Market where you order chicken and a couple of sides. I wound up ordering a crispy chicken sandwich, but the sides with the chicken (especially the Mac & cheese) looked very good...next time! When I first saw the sandwich my reaction was that it was pretty small for $6+, however, once I started eating, I found it was packed with delicious chicken! Loved the pickles on the sandwich too! The restaurant is located in a convenient shopping center with plenty of parking. Service was friendly. I'll definitely be back!

First time here. Grubhubbed tonight and was pretty good. I got a chicken wrap with avocado which was hot & fresh. Had sides of macaroni and cheese along with garlic potatoes. Ordered creamed spinach but was out. With a cucumber salad side and nice size chocolate chip cookie. Will definitely go back again.

Pulled pork sandwich

WOW!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!! The pulled pork sandwich I had was as tiny as junior burger from Wendy's, but with tax it cost more than 10$, no sides, no chips, not even a lousy slice of pickle. Had to wait for almost 10min for a fast food sandwich on the burger buns. The service was not good and the flavor was not great. I wouldn't recommend it.

FIRE is a decent place to get standard American fare for a good price. The food is either delicious or average, and the meat options are quite good. We dined in for lunch and tried the 1/4 chicken dark with cucumber salad and garlic parsley potatoes, the waffle fries, and the 6 ribs with mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. Waffle fries are fine, but the mashed potatoes and mac & cheese are nothing more than mediocre and bland. The chicken was good, and the ribs are flavorful but fatty. (My dining partner liked this about them, though.) Corn bread was fantastic, and the cucumber salad and garlic parsley potatoes are both fantastic sides - I'd highly recommend them. The place is great for a bite for very good prices. Menu has quite the variety, so it's worth stopping by if you're close.

Moldy cauliflower

Ordered delivery through Yelp for lunch. We only live about 5 minutes away but somehow this delivery took over an hour. We ordered spicy chicken sandwiches which were decent; breaded chicken which seemed soaked in buffalo sauce, with a nice potato bun. The corn bread we ordered felt like it just came out of the freezer or a very cold fridge. Ordered a side of steamed vegetables, which were 90% raw still, which included what looks like cauliflower with spots of mold on it. Mac and cheese was decent as well, but tasted similar to what you'd get in a box. We've previously ordered from here in person, as well as through Uber Eats, for dinner and had no issues and really loved the food. (5 stars both times). Not sure what happened with today's order...

So you think a place with chicken in it's name would know how to cook it. My daughter got takeout tonight and her chicken was not cooked all the way. So gross. She also said there was a hair in her food. Proceed with caution.

It was good, but nothing special. If there isn't a Boston Market local to you-- this will do.

We can't say enough good things about Pendragon's Smokehouse!…read more The jerk chicken (we tried the Hatchling for the kids and the Scorchling for the grownups) was bursting with bold, smoky flavor and just the right amount of heat. The ribs (Pen's House Ribs) were fall-off-the-bone tender with a flavor that hit all the sweet and savory notes.  The sauce is perfection, but they stand alone without it too!   The sides were just as impressive. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy with a panko crunch, the green beans were seasoned beautifully, and the rice and beans were full of flavor and cooked to perfection.  All of them complemented the chicken and ribs very nicely, and together with the BBQ it was the perfect amount of food for our family of 5 (though I could have eaten the chicken and ribs forever). And let's talk about the delivery, because that can make or break any meal, especially BBQ -- not only was it on time, but it was hand-delivered with care, arriving at the perfect temperature like it just came out of the kitchen. Every bite tasted fresh and made-to-order. You can taste the love and craft in every dish. Pendragon's Smokehouse is a must-try - absolutely soul-satisfying food -- and we can't wait to order again!

I love how you could order online, that's a plus. The lady that called me to verify sounded really nice. The food is so good. Very flavorful. The garlic shrimp is actual sauce not just a bunch of shrimp swimming around in oil and minced garlic. Its a buttery sauce. I recommend buying a loaf a bread for dipping. The serving size is enough for a family of 3 and left overs for the next day for sure. Definitely adding to my list of local dinner eats. Thank you for your hospitality.

When I ordered, it said 45-60 minutes for the food to be prepared (as a standard message), and then told me delivery would take 45-60 minutes. Does that mean I'm waiting 90+ minutes for food? Nope, it came to the door in 40 minutes tops. Great job. As for the food: We've got the meats! I can say that most of the meat was a bit overdone, but it was made fresh and then delivered, so that will keep the meat cooking and I fully acknowledge that. The sausage was excellent. The wings were skimpy and not really worth it. The chicken and steak were both flat and thus both faster to cook. Meat overall was a bit chewy and tough, but again, that's upon delivery. I really liked the flavor, and they did include a nice spicy hot sauce at my request. Verdict: Will need to go back in person to try this out!

With that being said the service we received here yesterday was outstanding and better than any five star restaurant. I cannot say how wonderful our waiter was.. I can't remember his name because let's face it. I had a few drinks because that's what it's about there. I believe it was. Giancarlo? So the manager if you see this, please let me know if that's correct or not. This kid was incredible. He was helpful without being overbearing. He was great with his beer knowledge, but we really sold me was when there was a table behind us that had a son with special needs at this young man treated that table with kindness and compassion and really we need more of that. To the owner of this business, I know that the wait staff gets a very minimal amount per hour because they depend on tips, but if there's anyway you can raise his base pay, I would love to see that we were only gonna have one drink each, but because of how he treated us we ended up having two for me and three for my husband, that young man is an investment

My bacon beef burger was juuust before medium, exactly how I wanted Great flavor, more guac than I thought as I ate through it. Good amount of fries, just need one recommendation: Dipping sauce plz. The appetizer of cheese curds was well stocked to satisfy my craving and came with the perfect dip. I get the feeling if we ate in-house, more dips would be provided on request. So that's bringing up to 4 stars. If I revisit in person, pray I alter it further. ;)

Also the Mayonnaise too has been reportedly upgraded to a more "Creamier" version. The original Whopper has been around for decades and this is the first time it's ever been served in a box. My tastebuds and I all agree that the new version is clearly an upgrade offering a more enjoyable Burger experience. The new Bun is tasty and firm which holds together nicely throughout the entire session. I've never really been a big fan of mayo on my Burger but for some strange reason it's always worked well on the Whopper. Maybe it's all the Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles, and Onions that go along with it but with that being said I do think that the new Creamier Mayo tastes better. Plus the upgraded packaging does keep it from getting squished which used to happen alot especially when larger orders were tossed in the bag. This was my first visit to this BK which went well as I found service to be friendly and efficient at the Drive Thru. I just tried the new improved edition of the Whopper and I must say that I was pretty impressed. The new bun is a massive upgrade. It's moist, firm and holds together well. The presentation was a major improvement as well. It now comes in a cardboard box and is half wrapped with BK theme paper for easy handling. The quality of the pattie and toppings, lettuce, onion and tomato seem to have been ungraded a bit as well. Definitely seemed to have a fresher taste than before. This particular location is almost brand new. It's clean, bright and well appointed. The staff is very efficient and personable. I don't eat too much fast food but I wouldn't hesitate ordering a Whopper the next time the opportunity presents itself. Give it a try.

The new owners have completely reimagined the space into a moderately upscale, but still family-friendly, Mediterranean oasis with a contemporary aesthetic that's also a huge culinary step up from its predecessor. The staff was friendly and super attentive without ever being overbearing and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great meal and a great experience. My dining companion and I started with the special Trio Dip ($20), a fantastic, delicious starter with shareable portions of traditional hummus, a unique avocado hummus, and perfectly smoky baba ghanoush with crunchy walnuts alongside with a basket of warmly toasted pita bread. For our entree, we decided to share the Mandaloun Mix Grill ($40) and split the three kebabs -- filet mignon shish, ground beef kofta, and grilled chicken. This platter is a masterclass in grilling with three juicy and flavorful kebabs. Mandaloun also pays attention to small details that make the dining experience so memorable. We were both huge fans of the dipping dish with a concoction of olive oil, za'atar seasoning, and sesame seeds served with the pita and the toum -- an emulsion of garlic, oil, lemon juice, and salt which creates a thick, mayonnaise-like condiment that is 100% vegan and dairy-free -- served alongside our entree that's a perfect zesty pairing for the grilled chicken. One of the staff noticed how much I enjoyed both and brought over a small 'to go' container of each for us to take home. There was also a brief "if you know, you know" moment during dinner that I am sure was entirely unintentional. Our Mandaloun Mix Grill entree came with a tasty green salad topped with crispy pita strips, which felt like a very sophisticated homage to the Friendly's Crispy Chicken Salad entree that was topped with tortilla strips. PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home to enjoy with your meal. Mandaloun is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: Bring cash. Mandaloun has added a small surcharge for using credit cards to pay for your meal.
