Choosing from a couple of dozen enticing choices wasn't easy; I went with a Mexican omelette. Served with pretty good home fries and very lightly buttered rye toast, I couldn't finish it. Little by little the small space with about a dozen and a half tables slowly filled up, yet I was never rushed. The second cup of coffee was s good as the first, and it was topped off by another friendly waitress (love teamwork). The place did get quite loud, but the sounds of happy people enjoying great food is one of the joys of life. A small parking lot abuts the restaurant. I intend to go back and I highly recommend it.

I go here often and spend a lot of money here but thats because I work close and they have lots of options. I would recommend this place to anyone since the food is good and I never got sick eating here. Their salads are good but they recently made the "to go" container smaller so you get less lettuce but kept their prices the same. With that being said this place could use lots of improvements. The food is never consistent and they leave food a little too long in the buffet section. Sometimes it is delicious and fresh, other times its salty and old. ~Management gave me an attitude when I brought to their attention that they made my food wrong. This annoys me since they have messed up my order multiple times and this was the only time I brought it to their attention. I can go anywhere for an over priced sandwich, what is going to keep people coming is your service. ~They make their sandwiches weird. They put all the ingredients on the side of the bread instead of on top. ~I bought pasta to make at home and the price rang up $1 less and they made sure to override it to charge me the extra dollar. This place would get a better rating if they cared a little more on the happiness of the customer rather than being obsessed with the money. They care more about making sure everything is rung up properly than your order being correct. If I see a change in this place I will adjust my review. read more

We live at the Four Seasons in NC, and used Fresco's Catering for a "Dinner in the Clubhouse Party" this past Wednesday night for 50 residents. I made the arrangements with Bobby, (the nicest guy ever). He sat down with me 2 different times, & went over the menu & options with me. The food was delivered on time by the nicest young man DJ. The food was one of the best I ever had in my life, The chicken on the bone was amazing as was the eggplant parm, eggplant rolatinni, Penne in vodka sauce & sausage & peppers. There was more than enough salads, and the Italian rolls and Chibatta bread were outstanding. I would not hesitate to use Fresco Market & Catering again for catered parties. Since ownership has changed hands the service in this venue has really gone off a cliff. Counter service is deplorable, everyone seems very busy doing anything but tending to the front of the house. I've gone to Fresco with one other customer there and I had to get someone's attention to assist me (wasn't even acknowledged or given the "I'll be right with you). Maybe they are surviving on the catering end but walk in customers will loose patience and walk out as I have done. This was there last chance as far as I'm concerned, we live in Essex county there are plenty of other Italian delis that are more deserving of you business. read more

Fresco Market is our go to place for a quick and easy lunch or dinner! The build your own salads are my favorite while my husband prefers the hot food selection. We love to come here before we have company over for a vast array of different side dishes. The food is always consistent and the staff is very accommodating. Highly recommend! read more

Sometime you would go in and it would seem like the staff had no idea where to start first.
