A friend brought me a take out order of Cajun Angel that was supposed to be made with gnocchi, but made with a type of fettuccine instead, which was ok. The sauce was absolutely fabulous but there wasn't even a single portion of pasta included! Pasta is so inexpensive, why be so skimpy?? The amount of seafood was ok. This is a cute restaurant with GF pizza. However, when we were there yesterday, the staff was not knowledgable about gluten safety. Our server said "we have a gluten free pizza crust. Otherwise nothing else gluten free." To be clear, they also have salads and steaks. But I wasn't going to chance getting gluttoned, so I got a plain spinach salad - it was fresh. Came here to enjoy a nice dinner on a day off from work. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare along with seasoned fries and garden veggies. The filet was cooked the way I liked it even though the sides of the filet wasn't charred the way the top and bottom was but I'll take that than eating a piece of meat over cooked. The garden veggies and seasoned fries were good as well. My only complaint was that their selection of sides was very small and limited. Would have preferred to have the filet with a baked potato rather than fries. Fire Stone is a very nice place with a great atmosphere. The service was good as well. read more

Everything is fresh and tasty and the service is top notch and attentive. They have a good selection of local and not so local craft beers. The menu is a little pricey, though. The meals are definitely healthy portions, but the appetizers are not. The interior is very industrial. The exterior is not well lit -- we just about drove right by the place. We went here at a slow time. I was visiting my daughter who goes here frequently. The meatball sandwich was really good...not overly saucy which I like as the bread doesn't get sloppy. The house salad w pecans, blue cheese and dried fruit was really tasty, a good size and the vinegrette was just the right amount of balanced swet tangy. Beer was good. Cocktail was spot on. About $25 for a personal pizza and that would've been fine if it wasn't burnt. Not even just the entire bottom of the pizza but the toppings and crust too. Portion sizes are really small but our waiter was nice. Their water tastes bad, apparently that was for our entire table so it's not the dish soap but the actual water, they need a better filter. Unfortunately wouldn't recommend this restaurant, but they do have a parking lot so you don't have to park on street. read more

We have eaten at Fire Stone WFG twice now. Excellent food, excellent service. My husband and I went late one night fresh from visiting a sick friend at medical center. It was late, we had no reservation(which would have been hard to get due to the fact that no one answers the phone) but were seated quickly. We had side house salads, bacon wrapped shrimp and split a plate of lasagna. All were excellent. It was all I could sue to keep the hubby from ordering more shrimp. Our second visit was with family. We ordered the boiled peanut hummus and crab appetizer. Delicious. Now I need to boil peanuts and see if I can duplicate the recipe at home. Our entrees were incredible. We were obviously in the mood for pasta: chicken parm, chicken alfredo, shrimp w/sun dried tomatoes and spinach and lobster ravioli in pesto. Excellent all around. What a great little gem in downtown Dothan. This place is a low key, good vibes energy place. Awesome music played at a volume appropriate to enjoying while also being able to converse. The food is fantastic! They offer seasonal specialties, and ours were awesome. Plenty of good wine to enjoy with your Italian meal. Beer and spirits are available too.
