It was my first time here and I've been wanting some really good BBQ food. It was absolutely delicious, my sister and my brother law have been here before and recommended it. If anyone wants some BBQ and is around the area, make sure to stop by here! The food and the employees were fantastic.

Love the little piggy logo, nice atmosphere, friendly great service! The brisket was really good and had great flavor by itself. As well as the pulled pork and rib tips. I didn't like the lemon flavor in the chicken, I feel that's more of an Italian thing, not bbq, but that's just me, the chicken was great quality. I didn't like the sausage, again because I don't like cheese in my sausage. I loved the beans, they had a kick to them. SO good. The potato salad was yummy too. The one sauce they say is spicy, it's not, but great flavor, that was my fav. They are a good selection of beers. I will be coming back. It was GOOD.

    wings and cold cornbread

My husband and I ate here today and were extremely disappointed. We are always looking for new BBQ places to eat, so we gave this place a try. First online it's says jumbo smoked wings,my go to. When we arrived and asked about the wings the girl bead clueless, but they had wings. So I got the wings with onion rings. Sauces I got the carolina vinegar, being born and raised in Eastern NC, you do not add oil to the sauce. The cornbread was tasty after you get over it being cold. My wings were ok but luckily I love the flats bc that's all they have me were flats no drumettes. Husband got ribs and they were touch as nails. Felt like a dog gnawing a bone to remove the meat. Never going back! Not worth 60 we spent. ONLY reason 1 star is bc it was time with my husband.

Have driven past this place so many times. Decided to grab some on a Friday night. I did not connect this to the one we went to in Saint Louis. My family fell in love with the SL location. I pre ordered and paid for a feast. Whatever the one is for about $90. I of course added sweet potato fries and fries. This place like any other place. The food is always better when you eat there. The fries got a little soggy on my 25 minute drive. I still gobbled them up. For the meat. I got brisket, pulled pork and ribs. I don't eat meat but here's what may family said. I got the side of Mac and cheese and beans with brisket. These sides in the special are huge. You really don't need anything else. Unless you are vegan go fries! They would get the ribs again. The brisket is sliced. I think they prefer burnt ends. The pork they said was moist but didn't have a ton of flavor. They said it was good with sauce. This place loads you up in sauce. Overall happy with the quality and quantity. I'd probably just order meat and fries next time.

The food is the good stuff. Hard to find a solid BBQ place and this qualifies. We tried the brisket sandwich and burnt ends. Service was nice and friendly. Potato salad and beans were also winners. Must try.

Stopped (Saturday, January 6th) after hearing about this restaurant from a few friends. The girl up front who took our food orders (4 of us) was acting as this was her first day at work. She was unorganized, and had no idea where the beer mugs were. We placed our food order and sat down at a dirty table (it appeared that most of the employees were fairly young and uninterested.) when we where struck by the smell of sewer gas, it was terrible!!! Once our food arrived it was just another disappointment. The brisket, pulled pork & rib tips. The brisket & pulled pork were tasteless and dry. I had the chicken which was also tasteless and dry. I was hoping to find a good place for BBQ in the area. Unfortunately, my search continues

    Great idea!

It's just ok. Not as good as it used to be the burnt ends was a pile of meat. Wings are good but for some of the items flavor seems off.

When we first walked inside, the restaurant felt like a typical bar and grill. However, we asked to sit outside and were pleasantly surprised by how massive the patio area is. I am so glad we chose outdoor seating because the atmosphere back there was completely different and much cooler. Even though we did not play any games or fully explore the backyard area, it was impressive how much space this place has. They clearly host a lot of events and even offer volleyball, pickleball, and bags leagues. It all gives off a very relaxed, social, and fun vibe. Our waiter was also a highlight of the experience. Since it was our first time, we had a few questions about the menu, and he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and personable. The menu itself is large, so it took us a bit to decide what to order, but the prices were very reasonable and the food quality did not disappoint. I ordered the Woodsman Nachos ($14), and they were excellent. The portion size was huge and easily shareable. They were loaded with toppings like chili, jalapenos, lettuce, and multiple cheeses. I forgot to ask for no tomatoes, which was totally my fault, but they were chopped in larger pieces so it was easy enough to remove them. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food, and when I come here again, I think I will order the Nashville chicken sandwich because my friend ordered it and it looked delicious! Overall, this was a great first visit with good food, a fun atmosphere, and friendly service. It feels like the kind of place you could easily spend hours at, especially during warmer months.

There is ample lighting and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The food is BBQ and they have a little bit of everything to offer. That is great, but makes it hard to choose what you want! We certainly had that problem but ultimately were very happy with our meals. They pretty much cover all the bases as far as BBQ and the sides. The flavors were very tasty! Having one in Glen Ellyn won't have us running back to this location but that is only on account of circumstance.

These days the price hikes are expected, nothing new, and the day Nobel started to impose a penalty for paying via credit card (which initially they were ALSO taxing, and at a rate no less that was higher than Geneva's local tax percentage) was when I started only paying with cash. Hey, I like(d) their food and love(d) their employees, I'm willing to pay out the nose and jump through hoops for the experience. I'll admit, I went from eating there almost every day during Covid to maybe once a month, but when my family asks me where we should go out, Nobel is ALWAYS the first that comes to mind. Within the past week I've visiting Nobel for the last time. Prices notably up again, check. Many new employees, slower service, and uh oh, what's this, the food quality is in the toilet? Couple that with another service by Kelli and her terrible attitude, and things aren't looking great. Portions. Like everywhere else, as I said, at Nobel the prices are up and portions are down. My wife's favorite though, their lobster roll (formerly one of the best I've ever had in the United States, and I travel along the east coast quite a bit), has taken a hit harder than anything else on their menu from what I can ascertain. $31 now, which isn't new, it's been $31 since the beginning of 2026 from what I can remember, but $31 and it's probably 30% smaller than it used to be. For $31 you get a lobster roll that literally looks like a piece of Texas toast folded in half now, a 30% smaller portion of lobster, and if by some off chance you order the side salad, the side salad is also smaller. I can go on about all of the other cuts that are evident, but the $31 lobster roll is about the best display of the dismal direction Nobel House is headed. Sad... Nobel House, you'll be missed.

The Birria egg rolls were a bit on the smaller side but made a big impression with its preparation. I've never had birria wrapped in anything as crispy as the wonton wrapper this was wrapped in. The birria was flavorful while being tender and not being too salty. The white cheddar and chihuahua cheese added a small amount of extra saltiness and a bit more fat, which matched well with the chipotle aiola. The duck poutine was incredibly flavorful, while sitting on the edge of potentially being too bold. The fries were incredibly crispy though there was quite a bit of gravy on the dish and the white cheddar cheese curds did a great job of keeping the entire dish hot throughout the meal, while adding a little bit of extra flavor. The bacon and onion added some umami though it almost made the dish a bit too salty and the duck confit added a nice protein element. Overall a little pricey, but given the more unique menu and quality of both the flavors and textures, it's worth the premium. The food here is definitely memorable and in line with excellent options available in Geneva.
