This was my first time here and I wasn't impressed at all. I intended on ordering from Subway (right next door) but the aroma of the foods were so good from outside that I decided to walk in and place an order to-go. I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice, and although it was ready in about 5 minutes or so, it didn't taste any better than the sesame chicken from Panda Express. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place, I only do the all you can eat deal, and I am always a happy camper. The place is CLEAN, the waitresses and owner are superb, and the best part - for me - is that damn pineapple and broccoli selection. I have never experienced a soggy piece of fruit, or a brown veggie. Everything is fresh and delicious. Food prep is quick and it seems table turn is pretty fast. whether you make it before or after all the 'military' show up, anyone can get a table (i am one of those military - we gotta eat too!) I have never had all you can eat Mongolian until now. This place is literally bomb.com . Every time I come here they never disappoint. It's do it yourself Mongolian BBQ. This is a very basic restaurant, the decor inside is falling apart and the food options are very limited. The quality of food is ok, nothing special. The service was good but it doesn't make up for the average quality of the ingredients. $10 isn't worth it. I would suggest trying your other off base options. read more

Best Mongolian bbq in town. All you can eat for $10!! Just make sure you don't take food to go because they charge extra. Place gets pretty packed around lunch time. Need more help as far as wait staff goes. Came in with my wife and place was packed. The only waitress was running around like a chicken with her head cut-off. Only one cook also. I have to say I'm surprised anyone could dislike this place! We live on Travis and visit there regularly. After trying out the other Mongolians in the area I kept coming back. Yes they're a little pricey, but they have added spring roll and those yummy little crunchies so you get a little more for your money. The owner and staff are unbelievably nice and always remember us. I could go there dang near every day. Just avoid the middle of lunch if you don't want to wait in line! read more

This is a fun restaurant and family friendly. The staff is nice. It works similar to a buffet. You grab a bowl and fill it with meat, noodles, and veggies. Create a sauce. Then take it to have it cooked in front of you. This was so fun and delicious! Great experience! read more

This place consist of two restaurants, one side mongolian bbq and one side Chinese fast food. Can't speak on the Chinese food since I haven't dined on that side but the mongolian bbq was surprisingly good. Most of the mongolian bbq places in this area sucks, so I wasnt expecting much here too. Let's just say my opinion changed once I took my first bite. Basic selections with a simple outcome of goodness. Service was also on point, which is rare these days. Definitely will recommend and be back. ((AYCE $10)) read more

Great place to eat and a fantastic deal, especially compared to other Mongolian BBQs. Location has a great staff and a very good selection of items for your entree. But don't look for something that is not there as it is a Mongolian BBQ resturaunt, not generic Chinese food. The only problem I've noticed is that it can get very busy around lunch because of all the Air Force personnel, but that is only a minor issue. If you want the best Mongolain around, this is your place. read more

I always go for the BBQ, although they have menu selections. Looks like they are expanding into the next restaurant space. Be aware of the BUSY lunch time when tons of people from TAFB descend on the place. They have limited hours and often are not open on weekends past 2pm. We have wasted many a road trip just to find them closed, so its good to call in advance to check the hours before going. read more

Now I have been going to this place for lunch for a while now but I will never go back to this place again. I got my food and sat down to eat when I noticed a big, long hair in my plate. As soon as I see it I called the owner over to show him and he took the plate and put it on another table that was not clean right next to mine. I went up to get another plate and I did not even eat the whole second plate but when he came with the bill he did not discount it or give me lunch for free. Now for me it is not about the money its all about customer service and how you treat your customers. First visit exceeded my going in expectation. I came during a busy Friday lunch hour. Felt as though I had walked into a Travis AFB mess hall, what with all the Airmen & women in their distinctive blue digi-camo fatigues lol. For to go orders, you just grab a bowl and proceed to the beginning with the meats and noodles. The bowls here are noticeably larger than others at chain Mongolian spots like Great Khan's. The meats look nearly identical to those supplied to the former Great Khan's at the Fairfield Mall. The selection here is slightly more limited, perhaps as a way keeping prices low. No shrimp, tofu, corn cobbettes and only your more basic self-serve sauces. You get a huge meal for about $10! Actually makes 2 meals + they give you a small container of white rice. The cook was a cool dude and left my food on the grill a lil longer per my request. A lil off the beaten path if your center isn't Travis AFB, but worth a visit. read more

I honestly have no clue how anyone eats the BBQ here. Unless you really like noodles and SOME veggies. Seems to be a little something off with the meat and the veggies! my goodness You can tell which ones are cut by them because they are still raw after being cooked. & if you order from the menu beware because chances are its mostly those bad veggies and scarce meat. I'm getting all of my yelp reviews out of the way while the memories are still fresh and I gotta say, I really did like this place. It's not the nicest one I've been to, but the food is really good and well priced when eating in. The take-out price on the other hand is a little disappointing (actually it's more the take-out portion). It's the same price either way, but I feel the take out container should be just a little bit bigger. Other than that, I'll be back. read more
