Decided to take my pistol certification class at Firearms International since I had a coupon for 10% off. The instructors were very friendly, informative, and really patient with newer firearm owners. The classroom was large, comfortable, and of course had cold A/C!! They have a shooting range on property, it was only a 2 bay shooting range. So while I waited for my turn, I browsed around the store. They had reasonably priced ammo. Also, I like how they displayed the firearms on the walls and you can actually handle them without employee assistance. But if you have questions, the employees will happily answer them for you! There was a lot of firearm inventory, pistols, AR15s, AK47s, shotguns...my kind of "candy store"! Haha! When it was my turn for the range, I like how they had different pistols you can try. I think you can bring in your own pistol also. Passed my hands on and got my certificate! I'll definitely will be back to take the CCW class, the instructors made it fun for us. read more

If you are buying a firearm or taking a safety class, they are very friendly and ready to help. However, if you are doing a firearm transfer, they will mess up your paperwork, delay the process, charge you a higher price than other local dealers, send you the wrong information, and give you rude customer service when you ask for any clarification or update regarding your transfer. I love the shop and all the people working there. Every one of them is very helpful. I just wouldn't attend a class here. The instructor name was Jessie and i think he was in the military. During the class, he constantly look at his phone and wasn't paying much attention to the class. When we actually finished the written test and went into the shooting range within firearm international, my ammo got jammed and I didn't know what to do since it was my first time shooting a pistol. I looked at my instuctor for help and he looked at me like I was stupid. Did I mention this was my first time shooting? Instead of helping me, he just looked at me funny and he looked like he really didn't want to be there and looked pissed off because my pistol got jammed. I was planning to attend some other classes to train but I will never go here for any class. I booked it with different shop and they were really helpful and gave me a lot of tips instead of looking at me funny and treating me like stupid. Right now this is the best place to get ammo! I recommend the Red Army for 9mm ammo. I also like the Maxx Tech for their .223. Marko Is very nice and will deliver it to your car at the loading dock for a safe and easy transaction! He also has domestic ammo. All sorts of calibers. The staff was amazing, and even though the selection was limited due to our physical location, the store is able to order almost anything and get it here within 4 to 6 weeks by boat. Small little gun shop behind Eagle Cafe on Nimitz. Glad to see more gun shops around these days. Staff is friendly and helpful. Their firearms are out in the open, in the middle of the store which seems awkward at first, but it made me feel less intimidated then trying to view them behind a glass display or on a wall. The establishment is clean and safe, although a little cramped but they have deals on stuff, so this might be my new go to place. read more
