We visited Firebirds on Sunday, March 29th, to celebrate my wife's birthday, and what started as a simple dessert stop turned into a really memorable experience. My wife specifically requested coming here for one thing--their Big Daddy Chocolate Cake (her absolute favorite). We made a reservation and were seated right on time, which was a great start. Shortly after, we were greeted by our server, Nighajah, and she immediately set the tone for the night. She was incredibly friendly, super outgoing, and just had this upbeat energy that made you feel welcome right away. We explained that we had already eaten dinner elsewhere and were just there for dessert to celebrate. Nighajah let us know they offer a complimentary crème brûlée cheesecake for birthdays, which was a nice surprise, but we told her we had our hearts set on the chocolate cake (which comes with vanilla ice cream). When dessert arrived, she went above and beyond--bringing not only the Big Daddy Chocolate Cake but the cheesecake as well. Such an awesome and unexpected gesture! Then came the biggest surprise of the night... when the bill came, they told us everything was on the house. We were honestly shocked. Since we hadn't ordered anything else, it didn't feel right accepting both desserts for free, so I insisted on paying for the chocolate cake--but the gesture itself meant a lot. Nighajah truly made the entire experience special with her positive attitude and great service. Firebirds is lucky to have her--she's the kind of person who makes you want to come back. We'll definitely be back again soon!

Had dinner here with my daughter . Hadn't been here for awhile . We had the lobster Queso which was very good . Alittle different. I had the shrimp and grits also good . My daughter had the sea bass which she really liked . It was my daughter's birthday so she got free desert which was big daddy's chocolate cake . Nice decor and a great place to eat. They have a beautiful bar

Sirloin was pretty Smokey in flavor which I wasn't expecting but it was cooked perfectly otherwise. Potatoes and burger were delicious.

We had a 5pm reservation here for Christmas Eve, arrived about 15 minutes early, and were seated by 5:07pm. Upon entering the restaurant, no host was there to greet us and their entrance doesn't really have a waiting area so everyone was standing around awkwardly or taking up seats by the bar. Despite that, the staff were nice when they did arrive finally. We were seated in a booth in the back by the kitchen and it was decorated nicely but nothing too special. The lighting is awfully bright and directly overhead, but otherwise it was pleasant. Our waitress greeted us and promptly took our drink orders. The whole evening she was very sweet and attentive. She brought every item out so quickly! We ordered the holiday margarita (refreshing and delicious!), the old fashioned and the Go Figure (both were great), a burning bushel (amazing), and a perfect margarita...somehow they made the perfect margarita wrong and it tasted as if they put butter in it - yuck! We replaced it with the strawberry cucumber margarita and it was also very good and refreshing. For appetizers we enjoyed their complimentary bread (literally melt in your mouth!) and the wood grilled chimichurri shrimp. It was insanely good! The shrimp came out warm and the whipped goat cheese wasn't overpowering and complimented the dish nicely and the charred corn salsa was perfect. For dinner most of us enjoyed the three course menu which was so much food for a great price! The caesar salad, mixed green salad with raspberry vinaigrette, and blue cheese salad were all very good. For dinner we had perfectly cooked filet mignon. I upgraded mine to the blue cheese filet and did not regret it! Perfectly cooked and seasoned mushrooms topped my filet with blue cheese and the BLT compound butter was phenomenal! The mashed potatoes...so good! Unfortunately, for the others in my party that had the broccoli, they said it was undercooked and the cider slaw was not too great. One person in my party ordered the tomahawk pork chop and it was so juicy and flavorful, and the side of carrots was seasoned perfectly. Finally, for dessert, we enjoyed the seasonal bread pudding, the crème brûlée cheesecake, and the big daddy chocolate cake. Everything we tried was very tasty, although I think my bread pudding was missing the chopped nuts that would have been perfect. Overall, great experience here, despite a couple of hiccups. Looking forward to coming back!

Came to dinner just missing the happy hour. Got a great table by the fireplace. Had other guest stopping by to get warm. lol. Went with the 3 course meal which was a great choice for my tummy and wallet. Best part was the dessert! I went with the seasonal bread pudding which was rich but plenty of ice cream to help with that. Continuing the seasonal mood, I enjoyed a great seasonal cocktail based on the recommendation of our server who was also the bartender. She can make a great drink! Overall great meal and experience. Next time I hope to catch Happy Hour!

Our waiter's name was Dan and he was the nicest person and so thoughtful. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and had tried the drink I wanted earlier in the week and spoke very highly of it, The Ginger Lowdown (highly recommend). We were celebrating our wedding anniversary so he brought us complimentary crème brûlée cheesecakes, delicious. We came in during cocktail hour but chose to sit in the dining room. Very calm vibe in the dining room and the cocktail area. Loved it. For dinner we had the Bleu Cheese Filet Mignon and the Dry Aged Ribeye. I had the Steakhouse Bleu Cheese Salad and my husband had the Loaded Baked Potato. Both sides were tremendous. There are several of the Locations in Ohio, TRY ONE!!!

First, I must say that I have always felt like Firebirds does a great job with presentation. And this experience did nothing to change my mind. However, I will say the prices feel like they've gone up and my wife ordered a Caesar salad with a tenderloin on it, and the meat was hard to eat. It had so much seasoning on the meat that it was like eating a piece of salt. I had the meatloaf which was very good and the deviled egg appetizer was excellent. It's also a very lively place for an a nicer restaurant. It has good energy and the weight staff is really top-notch.

So I arrived here for dinner with a work group and let's just say I loved my 9oz filet suggested by a coworker . So I ordered the 3 course with a sirloin but instead got this juicy mouth watering filet mignon cooked to my perfection . Oddly weird that this location also serves regular lemonade with a sugared rim but hey no complaints hopefully the right person enjoys this review . Thanks for an amazing meal

Decided to go here for our anniversary. They really didn't do anything for our anniversary even though they asked on the reservations what we were celebrating. Nobody really said anything so I'm not sure if they even do anything to be honest. My wife ordered the tenderloin salad and I ordered the three course special with barbecue ribs tortilla soup and a crème brûlée cheesecake. My wife's salads tenderloin was undercooked and was rare and surprisingly had gristle on it, which is odd for a tenderloin? It's almost like they tried to shred the tenderloin. We mentioned it and they took it off our bill, but it was a bummer because I think she was looking forward to it. My meal was great and everything tasted great on my side.

Our first time here and looking forward to many more! Our waitress, which I didn't catch her name, was phenomenal! Great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality! Our party of 9 enjoyed our time here. Definitely recommend and can't wait to eat here again!

In town for a band competition in nearby Hilliard and we wanted to eat over by Cabela's and IKEA. Chose this place. Not a bad spot. It's fancy in here. I will say though that it seems it can't decide if it wants to be a sandwich place or a higher end steak and wine place. So it's all smashed into one. Service and ambience were good this Saturday afternoon. Food was quite good. I will say though and why it only gets 4 stars is that the club sandwich I had was nearly $20 and it didn't need to be. I'd eat here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice if there were other options close by.

Went to happy hour tonight. We enjoyed the beef sliders, fired up shrimp, Chicken chili nachos and crispy cauliflower. Everything was very good. The sliders were juicy and tender. The shrimp was spicy but very tasty, just a bit of heat. I had a white sangria that was very refreshing. The nachos were great, chunks of grilled chicken, goat cheese, green chili cheese sauce and charred corn. I wish the bottom nachos had more topping as it was mostly on the top layer. The cauliflower was very good, crispy with sweet and sour sauce. We were extremely full and didn't have room for Big Daddys Chocolate Cake which we had hoped to end of meal with. It is the best cake you will ever eat. Make sure you try it next time you go to Firebirds! Our server was very nice and our food came out fast and hot! The atmosphere was casual but nice and elevated.

    Steak Tacos*

We went to Firehouse for lunch during our grandson's ice hockey goalie camp at The Chiller. I had the Smoked Chix Sandwich and tot. Very good! Our daughter had the Smoked Burger and said it was delicious. My wife had the steak tacos. She ordered the steak medium well, but is was more medium to medium rare. Carolina was our server. She was very good.

For dinner we split the rigatoni (very popular per our waitress and we can see why - delicious and the short rib was tender and plentiful) and lasagna (special for the night and also quite good)! You could tell it was an afterthought for added seating at a popular restaurant. I was also unimpressed with the wine options and I didn't love the one I ordered. We will go back for sure.

Made a reservation for dinner about a week in advance and yes, told them it was our anniversary. We got there a few minutes early. They got us seated right on time. Nice little card and decorations on the table to celebrate us. Nice touch. Monika came by with a smile, gave us a minute to look over the drink menu, brought us water and asked if we had questions. Drinks are ordered and they came quickly. We got a chance to finally look around and found it to be a very relaxing atmosphere. We could not resist the prime rib egg rolls. Very crunchy exterior with slices of prime rib inside. The dipping sauce had a great flavor but I copied not decide on the ingredients. Just know you want to ask for more. I don't get seafood at home. My wife's idea of seafood has Gortons on the label. So when I saw the seafood trio I had to get it. Really really good. Shrimp, scallop, salmon that all had great flavor and were prepared very well. My wife loves gnocchi so the short rib version was her choice. I got the leftovers the next day and they were still good. Since we were celebrating I got the celebration cheesecake. Dense but tasty. Lots of crunchy extras to dip into if you want. She got the obligatory crème brûlée. There were no leftovers for me. Dang. I came here on a cold March evening with my colleagues for a team dinner after a two-day conference. My co-worker was kind enough to tell the restaurant we were celebrating my birthday, so they had decorated our table with some cute birthday confetti and had a card for me. Such a nice touch! I wish I had thought to take pics, but I was so exhausted. Now, on to the food! We got calamari for the table as a starter. It was sprinkled with feta, which I enjoyed. It was cooked nicely and had great flavor. Oddly, we got served butter and sour cream instead of the black pepper aioli and voodoo sauce that was supposed to come with it. Thankfully, they realized it and brought us the right sauces. For my main, I got the Blackened Seared Scallops, a really unique dish that came topped with pork belly and served on creamed corn with tomato jam and bourbon syrup. This leaned to the sweet side but the smoky flavor of the pork belly gave great balance to the delicate scallops and the sweetness. And that bourbon syrup was addictive. I cleaned my plate! I would definitely recommend this dish if you like a sweet/savory combo. None of us ordered drinks or dessert on this go-around, but the manager stopped by to chat with us. Again, really nice touch. One slightly worrying thing: one of my colleagues is allergic to mushrooms. He ordered something that didn't mention mushrooms on the menu, but it was on the plate. Thankfully he noticed it before he started eating and they remade it for him without mushrooms. So if you have food allergies, be sure to ask questions because it may include an ingredient the menu doesn't mention. That said, our servers were wonderful and it was an overall pleasant experience.
