One of my favorite spots to go for happy hour. The service, drinks and food are great. They have a private parking lot so that's easy. In the spring, summer and fall they have a wood burning fireplace with outdoor seating. That's a nice place to enjoy the evening. Today I opted for the Exotic Mojito and my fav, the surf and turf. Perfect portion for me. I love that they remove the entire shell from the shrimp, even the tail so you don't miss out on any bites. The chimichurri on the steak was great. Much thanks to the three people in the bar area for providing great service and getting everyone taken care of.

While I've been to the Mitchell's Steakhouse downtown before, this was my first time dining at Mitchell's in Polaris. The building has a clean modern look to it and definitely feels upscale as you walk in. The servers are professional and efficient. The menu has everything you'd expect at a prime steakhouse. So far so good. I had their 7oz filet with shrimp, which was cooked medium as ordered. The meat was seasoned well and tender. But it didn't have the nice char on the surface that you'd expect at a prime steakhouse. At $53 for the 7oz filet and an additional $14 for the shrimp toppings, I really can't say that the plate I got was worth $67. (And sides all cost extra on top) At that price point, I would recommend Eddie Merlot's instead. They're literally just a block away.

Had a nice dinner here for our anniversary. Tracey was a great waitress and was very attentive. Also some of the best bread I've had!

We flew into Columbus and arrived late to our hotel in the Polaris Mall area, Mitchell's was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed as they accommodated us dispute the late arrival. I had their steak Oscar and my companion had their Salmon, we shared the chopped salad which delicious as well as unique with the hearts of palm, and goat cheese. I tried their spiced prickly pear margarita and it was wonderful. Also tried the first house Cabernet also a wonderful choice. We were full but got their carrot cake to go and it was so big it lasted during our whole weekend trip to Columbus. The tables were comfortable and we really enjoyed our experience!

The restaurant's range hood decided to call it a night, so we grabbed hotel umbrellas and made our way through the rain to Butcher & Rose. Sunday night? Packed. So we snagged seats at the bar--and honestly, it was the best possible plot twist. Enter Adam, our bartender extraordinaire. I mentioned I like my Cosmos sweet, and this man understood the assignment. Those were hands-down the best Cosmos I've had all year! The filet was tender and seriously delicious, and the mashed potatoes? Ohhh yeah. Rainy dinner adventure: 10/10. Adam: absolute MVP. Cosmos: dangerously good. Sometimes the best dinners are the ones that don't go according to plan!

We were a little worried but decided to see it through. I'm so glad we did! Everything about our experience was amazing. Valet parking is available which is always a plus. Walking in you're well aware you're in an upscale restaurant. The lights are dim and the design is rich and romantic. We arrived early and sat at the bar while waiting for our table. The hostess and the bartenders were all very attentive and professional. The hostess came to get us when our table was ready and we were asked if we preferred the elevator or stairs -we opted for the stairs going in, after filling our bellies we took the elevator! Our booth was spacious and comfortable, shaped almost circular so that we could sit close together but large enough there is plenty of space for more people. Our waiter, Sam, and his assistant, Brandon, very promptly arrived and introduced themselves. They brought amazing rye & sourdough bread in a basket with 2 choices of butter. Sam was very knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations were on par with what we had in mind. We both ordered half salads, I ordered the Freddie and my husband had the Iceberg Blue. Both fresh and flavorful, neither of us could choose a favorite. For our entrees my husband opted for the Steak Collinsworth and I chose the pork chops... we both were impressed with the pork chops. Very flavorful and juicy with just the perfect amount of charring. We also ordered mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. It was all delicious! My husband really enjoyed the creamed spinach and said it was among the best he's had. We were too full for dessert, but Sam treated us to a cupcake for our anniversary. The experience from beginning to end could not have been better. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back!

I've been wanting to try it for a while because I've heard so many good things, so I came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, the steak wasn't cooked the way I prefer, the brussel sprouts weren't enjoyable, and the mashed potatoes tasted like they may have been instant, which was disappointing for a place known for steak. The one standout for me was the meatballs, they were actually really good and had great flavor. Every single plate was hitting. The steak was cooked exactly how I asked, seasoned well, and actually had flavor all the way through. The lobster ravioli was rich but not heavy, and the salmon was flaky and done right, not dry at all. What really made it though was the service. They were attentive without hovering, kept the drinks coming, and made it feel like a special night without being extra about it. For a birthday dinner, that matters. If you're going, don't go playing small. Order what you actually want. It's one of those places where you lean into the experience and enjoy it. Didnt have anything unique about it just was don't like a filet should be done. The carrot was cooked to perfection which brought her review up. The fried potato was also amazing best part of the whole dish, especially with whatever spread they put on it. The fillet was not the highlight the carrot and the potato were. Hamachi Crudo: 3/10 - we are sushi snobs so take this with a grain of salt. It could totally be something that you love, but I hate when somebody brings out a piece of Nigiri or sashimi and it's warm. This dish has potential the flavors around it were very fresh but the hamachi was room temperature when it should be ice cold and the flavors felt like an after thought. Menu: 4/10 - nothing to write home about when it comes to the options. A very corporate get what you expect type restaurant. Nothing revolutionary here the demographic when we went was very old and corporate. Price: 5/10 - $340 plus idk... I feel like this was worth $180-$220 personally for the price I never complain about price anywhere I go out to eat, especially fine dining, but this place was overcharging for what they're actually giving for sure. Overall: 6.5/10 - I would recommend this place to someone who doesn't really care about Food that much and is wowed by like an STK or a more chain like "fancy restaurant" I was hoping to get more of a small boutique very intentional experience at this restaurant just based on the outside by the field, but it definitely feels like they've cut a few corners when it comes to building a really unique food experience I would love to come back and give it another try because maybe I just came at an off time.
