I have to say this was unexpected in several little ways. The service and food were comfortable and quick. We were going to a concert at the Palace Theater and were just looking for something that was easy, close and fast. We got a neighborhood gem. Took a few minutes of standing at host station to be greeted with a "Have you been helped yet?" from a bartender, with only a promise that someone would be there soon. It was served with fries. My wife is not quite the burger freak that I am but she said the burger and the fries were excellent - quite a compliment from her. I opted for the Texas BB Burger which is billed as "two smash-cooked patties topped with smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, homemade BBQ sauce, and hand-cut onion straws on a butter-toasted bun". Last night my friends and I went to Pat and Gracies for restaurant week. We called ahead and made a reservation a week before coming and when we arrived they had everything setup for us. The options for restaurant week were Lobster Mac and Cheese, Chicken and Prime Rib. Two of the three were not on the regular menu which I found rather weird. I ordered Prime Rib which came with a salad and dessert. When I got my Prime Rib, my mashed potatoes were lukewarm which was rather disappointing. Whenever I order food I expect it to be ready to eat and they were not. I let our waiter know about this and he brought me a second plate to put my Prime Rib on and took my mashed potatoes back to maybe microwave. Anyway it came back ready for me to eat and since it's still Covid I would've preferred brand new mashed potatoes.
