This was garbage the pasta was not cooked just placed in the Togo container and sauce over top of it. I have to ask the ownership and manager and if it is possible the so called chef or the fact that they don't care about the product they serve. The flat bread was under cooked or completely raw dough what the actual----. The ownership needs to clean house fire the complete staff that served this trash. I read the reviews. I was in town as a consulting chef and rework of-a concept redesign, and just wanted a pasta and a flat bread. Yes you completely unworthy establishment they calls it self a Napa Kitchen. First time visiting here. We were seated right away, the place was very clean. It was not busy at all. We ordered sweet potato fries and calamari for appetizers and both were good. For entree we ordered shrimp risotto and chicken tortellini. I didn't care for either. Both of the dishes lacked flavored. Definitely needed more seasoning on both dishes. This is a beautiful restaurant first of all. We then had great service. From the hostess to the waiter. We tried a little of everything. For starters we had the truffle popcorn and ahi tuna won tons. I could eat a gallon of this popcorn. I don't eat tuna, but my friend said it was excellent. Perfectly cooked. I had the shrimp pizza which was soo good. Tasted really fresh and bright. Not as terribly rich as I was afraid of. Friend had the pepperoni and pepper pizza which was very layered in flavor with the chili sauce. My other friend had the salmon salad and said the dressing was done very well and the salmon tasted great. I wish we had room for dessert because the bread pudding and the s'mores pizza sounded amazing. I also had the red sangria which was delicious and my friend had the alcohol free Paloma which she said was excellent. I was surprised by the mixed reviews because our experience was excellent! Came here for Mother's Day brunch and the service was pretty poor re: we had to wait a long time for our food. We did get the stuffed french toast for the table which I'd give a 6/10. I had the breakfast burrito and was pretty underwhelmed. It lacked flavor overall and the tortilla they used was thick and it had not been grilled or heated up so it was like a stiff tortilla if that makes sense? I don't think I would recommend this spot. We had a work meeting in the private room for lunch. The room is beautiful. The tv and tech set up were great. The staff was very good. We got to choose from a limited menu that our admins chose ahead of time. The Napa greens salad was good but needed more dressing. The Julianne pear flatbread was very good. The popcorn is delicious. This was our second time here and we will do it again I'm sure. It's a crowd favorite. I didn't finish my review last time so I'll add that last time I got the chicken BLT. Service was great! The inside is lovely and spacious and has a good atmosphere. Food was pretty good overall. One person in the group had the shrimp risotto and said it was okay, nothing special but they did eat it all! I had the spaghetti pesto with chicken. It was good, but could have used a little more flavor. It was supposed to be creamy but was kind of watery by the end of it. I also ate all of mine so can't complain :). It was so disappointing. It was our Valentine's dinner and we did have a late reservation but they were out of all their Valentine's specials. Drinks were okay (I loved mine, husband hated his but could've been his own fault for what he ordered) and some employees were having drama behind the bar which was a little awkward but we laughed it off. But the real issue was the food itself. It was terrible. Worst food I've ever had at a restaurant and no I'm not exaggerating. We aren't picky people and even if we don't care for something we will still generally eat it. We both ate about 3 bites and couldn't force any more. We didn't call over a manager which we know we could've. But I don't usually complain and honestly other than getting comped we weren't really going to wait for more food since it was already late especially if it was the same quality. The pasta tasted like someone made it in a dish with burnt bacon or something. My husband's tasted like they poured vinegar on it. We really wanted to love it here, the menu looked great. But we left pretty disappointed because it was Valentine's Day. We at least had fun with each other because of each other and made the best of it. read more

Absolutely LOVE Napa Kitchen & Bar! Such a cute restaurant and has the best food. I don't think there's anything that I've had there that I didn't like. Today I went with a group of girls and made a reservation on OpenTable prior. We arrived at the reservation time and were seated right away. My only issue with my experience today was that our waitress didn't refill the water at our table often then when we were leaving I saw a sign that said they were closed due to short staff. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the Juliette, it's a flatbread with Brie, pear, garlic cream, caramelized onions, Parmesan, white balsamic glaze. AMAZING!! Everyone should get this. Also the baked brie appetizer is so good. Brie and orange marmalade in a crisp, honey-drizzled phyllo shell - apricot, orange and cracked pepper preserves, Granny Smith apples, fresh strawberries. First time in tonight! I'd had my eye on Napa for awhile because their menu sounded promising but being that both locations are nearly 30 min from me I'd never made the trip. We decided to pop in tonight, we made a reservation but it wasn't super busy so we probably didn't need it. I started with the mango mule mocktail, it wasn't too sweet which was nice. For my main I got the grilled shrimp risotto. The shrimp had a good amount of flavor and was cooked well. The risotto wasn't mind blowing but it tasted good. My boyfriend got the chicken saltimbocca, again not mind blowing but tasty enough. Our server and the hostess were both very friendly and accommodating. Overall I'd be back to try their wine flights and maybe even brunch. The location is super cute as well. read more

First time here, party of 7, we had the 15' table on the left side as you enter the restaurant. The vibe is farm table chic. We ordered a number of apps in addition to entrees. Unfortunately, i didn't take photos of everything but everything was excellent. The food took about 1/2 hour to arrive, perhaps sign that it was being made to order. Service was very attentive as one in our party has a nut allergy and the staff answered every question, patiently and accurately. If memory serves, altogether we ordered, Beef Short Ribs, Braised Veal Meatball, Crab Cakes, Crispy Calamari, French Onion Soup, Hearts on Fire Salad, Oven Fired Penne, Wedge Salad, and the Burger. Prices are a little higher than average ($20-$38) but totally worth it. Reservations are recommended. read more

My previous review of 2/4/2021 was done on the Dublin profile because this Westerville location didn't have a Yelp profile. At that time, I gave it two stars (being generous), but my husband wanted to give it another try. Unfortunately, my rating stays at two stars (still being generous). This restaurant requires that you make a reservation. Really, at the time we came there were all of a dozen people. We were seated in the middle of the room with the heaviest, hardest wooden seats I've sat in, six feet away from another couple who were fortunate enough to be seated in a more private table. My guess is that people are seated according to what is most convenient to the servers. I noticed that the seating for two were all in the middle of the room, so don't expect anything private or romantic on your visit. Now for the food. Don't come here for the food. I ordered the Blackened Salmon PTL, which is a Creole-blackened fresh salmon, prosciutto, lettuce, vine-ripened tomato, red onion, mayonnaise on a toasted challah bun. It also came with fries. The fries were barely warm. The sandwich was missing both red onion and mayonnaise. The prosciutto was the texture of jerky. My husband felt sorry for me, as he ordered the Smoked Chicken Tortellini, which he said was good. But I tried my best to eat my dry, tough sandwich with missing ingredients, still grousing about the hard seats and why we were in the middle of the room. Side note: in my previous review the salmon wasn't even blackened. Why did I order this??? The kicker was when the server came to take away my husband's plate, she also took my plate WHILE I WAS STILL EATING. So, after two dismal visits, I do not recommend this place. read more

Located where The Wine Bistro used to be. They have done a wonderful renovation job. It's really nice relaxing and cozy. I had rustic tomato basil bisque and a salad with grilled chicken and my friend had a salad and a flat bread. This restaurant is a gem! We had a large party and they had reserved a nice private room for our group. It was great to be able to hear and speak to everyone. I stopped in after work to be pleasantly greeted by a generous happy hour, half price bottles on Tuesday and genuinely great bartender service. I had had the truffles Parmesan fries and the sliders. The sliders were five stars and the truffle fries four stars. The wine selection is pretty extensive and if you go on half price Tuesday your buying bottles at the same price as Meijer or Kroger. Perfect for a mid week date night or in my case a solo wine night. I didn't try any of the cocktails but they informed me that they changed this week to a new seasonal menu. I'll be back and next time I'll explore the full menu. read more

The standout is their phenomenal compound butter for bread, but not enough to warrant a return. The crabcakes were good, but not exceptional, while the calamari impressed. My wife and I stopped here for brunch. We both ordered the braised rib hash. It was supposed to come with a sunny-side up egg on it. They both came with over hard eggs. The liquid yolk mixed with it would have been a good addition to the dish but even without it we both thought it was very good. The problem is the portion is really small. It comes in a small iron skillet that is about half the size of any other skillet breakfast or brunch I've had other places. We went home and both fixed something to eat because there wasn't enough to satisfy us. I probably won't return only because the portion was so small. 5 stars for the flavor but 1 star for the portion size read more

My wife's sister and her husband were in town and wanted to take us out to dinner to celebrate my birthday. Our primary criteria for picking a restaurant was that it have outdoor dining. We picked Napa Kitchen becasue it had a patio and good online reviews. The patio was really nice and well-shaded; the weather was cooperating and it was a great eveing to be on the patio. We were greeted and seated promptly and the hostess brought water to the table within minutes of our arrival. Service went downhill from there. Our waitress did stop to see if we wanted to order drinks but didn't return for a full 10+ minutes when we said we needed a minute to look at the wine list. We placed our orders - 4 entrees and 2 salads. It seemed like forever before we got our salads and then another long stretch before our entrees were served. In fact, it was a full 70 minutes from the time we arrived until our entrees were served. Our server brought bread (which was excellent) after we had been wating for our food for over 30 minutes and apologized that she had forgotten to bring it earlier. FOOD - my BIL and I both ordered salads - his Napa Greens salad looked very good and was a nice sized portion. I, however, was very disappointed with my "The Wedge" salad which was billed as a "wedge of crispy romaine". The salad bore no resemblence to a wedge (more like a silver) and the portion was extremely skimpy considering the price. Despite the skimpy portion, it was very good. For entrees, my SIL ordered the Salmon PLT (prosciutto, lettuce and tomato) and said it was excellent. My BIL and I both ordered the Bacon White Cheddar Burger. They were good but not great and, as a burger connoisseur, I would not order this again - it was a relatively generic burger that was nicely "dressed" and presented but far from exceptional. My wife ordered the Oven Fired Penne which is a penne pasta in a white sauce with roasted chicken and sausage topped with cheese. The sauce was exteremly thin (watery) and she requested a spoon in order to get any of the sauce with the pasta (took 10 minutes to get the spoon). My wife said she's had better pasta at some of the fast-casual Italian places. SERVICE - our waitress was good if not overly attentive and I attribute most of the service issues to delays in the kitchen. It seemed that everyone's orders were slow coming out. SUMMARY -- overall, I'd give Napa Kitchen a 4-star rating for its ambience (both the patio and the indoor dining rooms), a 3-star rating on the food and a 2-star rating on service. OVERALL - I'm being a little generous with a 3-star rating but think that some of the service issues might be related to the staffing issues facing a lot of restaurants. We had a very enjoyable evening on the patio but Napa Kitchen is not a place I'm going to rush back to. read more

We had brunch on Sunday and enjoyed it. My husband tasted a few wines and I went with the Bellini. The potato soup was good with lots of dill flavor. The breakfast dishes are not huge, but just the right amount of food. I tried the short rib hash and my husband got the steak and eggs. Both tasted great. The hash was a little greasier than I would have liked, but overall a nice dish. I would certainly love to return and try some other dishes. read more
