With a reservation we were waiting for a table. Big crowd. Eleven minutes wait, not terrible for this size crowd. Our hostess was on the ball turning tables as the parties left. Our server was very attentive especially considering the number of tables they had. Our bread arrived just as our dinner was served. Obviously, the bread oven has a limit and there was a crowd. Everything looked great. The mashed potatoes had a odd taste and the server swapped them for a baked one. All in all, we had a very enjoyable date night. Our server was quite the star having many tables and handing them flawlessly.

We visited for Happy Hour. The food, drinks, and atmosphere did not disappoint. I had the sangria to start and my friends and I I shared 4 items from the happy hour menu. We had plenty to share with lots of leftovers. Our server was great! I will be back because the food was delicious

Firebird has done it again! I have gone here a few times but this most recent time was great. I had high expectations because I was considering choosing them as a catering option for my wedding and they delivered. I got the chicken and I loved the flavor. I liked how it wasn't a boring bland chicken. We also had the deviled eggs. The flavor was great but the yoke to egg whites was high. A little less yoke would have been good. The service was amazing as always and the environment was great.

The food was great and the service was even better! They had a great menu and the prices weren't bad either. I made reservations online and gave them the heads up it was my wife's birthday. They had a card waiting for her and made her night super special. It's nice to have an upscale grill closer than Franklin or Downtown to go to on a special occasion or when we're looking to treat ourselves. The cook was perfect on my Cajun Ribeye and the spices played super well with fattiness of the steak. Every bite was a filled with a rich Cajun spiciness that left me wanting more even after 16oz! The steak fries were great too, I asked for mine extra crispy with a side of ranch. We'll definitely be back soon!

Would highly recommend Firebirds if you're looking for a nice steakhouse that's not in Nashville and won't necessarily break the bank. We had the deviled eggs, which were incredible. The candied bacon on top added an interesting, but amazing flare. They weren't overly mustard-y either, which we enjoyed. Both the Cajun ribeye and the bacon wrapped filet were amazing, and the Parmesan mashed potatoes and steak fries were to die for. I absolutely despise steak fried, but my husband ordered them extra crispy and they were perfect. We went for my birthday, so of course they offered a complimentary dessert. It was a crème brule cheesecake. Insane how delicious it was! The inside was very much a standard steak house, with an elegant look. Our waitress was so sweet! She was very attentive.

Dana and Steven were in Murfreesboro today at lunchtime and we decided on Firebirds Wood Fired Grill and wow great decision. Dana ordered Baby back ribs, Mexican street corn and Southwest Au Gratin Potatoes and Steven ordered Roasted Garlic Sirloin Steak and Baked Potato. Then Dessert Chocolate Brownie and Creme Brulee Cheesecake. We can tell you the Atmosphere, Food, Dessert, presentation and taste was absolutely unbelievable. Service from the waitress was fantastic and the General Manager even stopped by the table and check on us. Unexpected service that put everything over the top. This is a restaurant that you definitely need to put on your go to list.

The drinks are very good. My favorite apps are the Philly egg rolls and chimichuri shrimp. Bartender was great. The salad

We visited the new Firebirds location for brunch and were impressed right away by the beautiful facility, modern, comfortable, and full of great energy. Service was warm and attentive, and the overall ambiance made for a lovely start to the day. We tried the deviled eggs, cheese grits, and a traditional breakfast plate (eggs, biscuit, bacon), along with a peachy Bellini. While everything was good, the brunch offerings felt a bit average and overpriced for what we received. The Bellini was a highlight--refreshing and well-balanced. In hindsight, we probably should've stuck with Firebirds' true strengths: grilled meats and their solid lunch/dinner fare. Still, a pleasant experience, especially if you're just looking for a relaxing setting with great service.

Fabulous foods with modern tastes to suit just about everyone. Of course, being off the new MCP, prices are higher and portions a bit smaller than the older establishments, but Firebirds makes the differences worth every penny. An upscale experience with perfect service and really warm hospitality. Definitely great for celebrations any time of day, or for waiting out traffic hours. Recipes can be a bit salty owing to the bar emphasis, but you can inform your server of your preferences. Plenty of parking, and ADA compliant.

I stopped in last night while in the area and got a seat at the bar. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. They came out hot and the presentation was very nice. However, the egg rolls themselves didn't have much flavor. Most of the flavor was coming from the Thai chili sauce. The egg roll wrapper was greasy. I also ordered an Old Fashioned to drink. The balance of bourbon and slightly sweet, was not there. It was basically a bourbon on the rocks. I had heard good things about this place, but I was not a fan.

We tried doing a walk in on a Friday evening before, and the wait was about one hour so we decided to book reservations on another night to try it. If you're coming on a busy night or busy hours, I would suggest reservations so that you don't have to wait. Well we finally got to try it this past Friday for dinner. We showed up about 30 mins before our reservation time and got seated right away. I started off with the bread and tortilla soup. The bread was nice and warm. The inside of the bread was very soft. The tortilla soup was very flavorful. It had a lot more in it than I expected. I'm making out chunks of chicken breast, tomatoes, onions, and wonton strips on top. Next I had the aged ribeye and grilled street corn. I ordered my steak medium well and I thought it was cooked perfectly. The street corn was a little different than what I've ever had. It kind of reminded me of a type of salsa in a way. The corn was tossed with some tomatoes and onions. It also came with a lime so I squeezed the lime into it. I also tried their grilled salmon and shrimp. I had it with mashed potatoes and veggies. This was actually my favorite dish here of all the things that I tried. The salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The bottom of the salmon was nice and crisp. The shrimp was also cooked perfectly. It wasn't overcooked or undercooked. The mashed potatoes were also very yummy. It was my favorite side here from the ones I've tried. It was seasoned perfectly. One of the courses I got was their 3 course dinner, which I thought was a really good deal. It came with that tortilla soup, the salmon and shrimp with two sides, and a dessert for only $39. The dessert I tried was the crème brûlée cheesecake. I honestly didn't expect much of the cheesecake, but it was delicious!! The top was torched just like a creme brûlée and I honestly didn't expect that considering it was a cheesecake! Something else that I thought was pretty neat was I ordered some wine and the glass came out engraved with the letters FB on it. I thought that was pretty neat. This is random, considering it's a restroom, but I wanted to point out how clean it was. They have been opened all day, and I got here during dinner hours when people have been in and out all day. I used the restroom before leaving and I thought to myself how nice and clean they have kept it with it being opened all day. In all, I had a pretty good experience and will be back to try some more of their other items.

They did NOT disappoint!! I am officially hooked! From the moment we walked in, I could see and feel the sheer energy coming from the crowd and the ambiance: it already felt like great food and great people. It was packed to the brim for Wine Wednesday! They had one table available for two! Our server, Sarah, was outstanding!! She was sweeter than pie and extremely attentive! She always made sure we had exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. She advised sharing a bottle of wine since we wanted the same one, and since it was half price most wines. The young manager on duty delivered and uncorked the bottle, and she was just as sweet as Sarah! Her name escapes me, but I will find out the next time I go. The Spanish Tempranillo we tried was divine! It was perfectly balanced without being too dry or too tannic or too sweet. It was so smooth and thoroughly enjoyable to drink! For food, we started with the goat cheese bruschetta. It was perfection - rich in flavor and well balanced in the distribution of each component! From there, we tried the special of Steak Tips Au Pauvre - with a peppercorn wine sauce. We chose brussels sprouts as our side, and it also came with a side salad. We weren't too hungry, so we split it. Sarah even had the kitchen split both the salad and the main dish in half for us! The salad was so fresh (with ripe grape tomatoes!!) and the ranch dressing was classic and delightful. The wine sauce was everything I wanted it to be: rich, complex, thick, and buttery. It reminded me of the beautiful sauces you find on a steak or chicken dish at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we didn't have any room left. All I can say is you MUST try this place!!! If you can find Sarah, even better!

I had the broccoli and it was perfectly cooked and served still hot! All in all a great first experience - made that way because of Eli our server! Thanks for a good meal and great service!

A Cut Above the Monday Blues…read more The Chop House has quickly become a go-to family favorite since my folks moved to Murfreesboro, whether I'm in town visiting or they're dining on their own. The food and service consistently hit the mark, and our latest visit was no exception. I was surprised by how bustling it was for a Monday night--the place was absolutely packed! There was a party of 30 near us, plus a group of 12 right next to our table celebrating a 2-year-old's birthday. It was great seeing everyone having such a special celebration, and despite how busy the team was, we were seated and served in a very reasonable timeframe. My mother made a reservation in advance, and the team graciously accommodated her request for a booth to help with her back issues. They are always wonderfully welcoming to her 5-pound service dog, who sits quietly right beside her. Everyone--from the staff to the fellow diners--was warm and friendly, which makes the whole atmosphere even better. I usually go for the prime rib sandwich, but this time I opted for the full prime rib dinner with soup and a baked potato. It certainly did not disappoint, though it was so generous I couldn't even finish it all. As one of the nicer spots in Murfreesboro, it's a wonderful choice if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion--or just enjoy a top-tier meal.

The food was perfect and really not even that expensive compared to my home town. I started with a nice Cabernet. I had two in fact. I did not know that Tennessee has an extra tax (LBD - 15%) on alcohol sold by the glass! I thought Republicans were all about low taxes. I also enjoyed an absolutely delicious shrimp bisque. It was really good (and only $6 for a bowl). It was smooth and flavorful. In my neighborhood that would cost $15. My entree was a daily special, yellowfin tuna. It was nicely seared on the outside and sushi grade on the inside. I could really taste the healthy Omega 3's. The fish was served on a nicely flavored bed of long grain rice. A wonderful mango salsa topped the fish. The accompanying broccoli was perfectly steamed. This was only $26. I shall return again to this great place.

We ordered a bottle of wine (delicious), and noticed some guests bringing their own, though I'm not sure about corkage fees. We started with the smoked pork croquettes, which were outstanding and ended up being the highlight of the meal. For entrées, we tried the lamb, braised beef, halibut, duck tacos, and mushroom ravioli. Everything was served promptly, and overall the food was very good, though there's room for small improvements. The braised beef came highly recommended but didn't stand out in flavor or texture. The lamb, cooked medium rare, was excellent. The ravioli was rich and tasty, though the cream sauce slightly overpowered the dish. The halibut was well prepared, but the potato leek cream truly stole the show. As we were leaving, the staff surprised us with a serving of strawberry ice cream for the birthday guest; a sweet and memorable gesture that capped off the evening nicely. Overall, a great experience with attentive service and a few standout dishes.
