Stopped by Firebirds and had one of the best hamburgers I've had in a long time. It was cooked to absolute perfection--juicy, flavorful, and exactly the way I ordered it. These days it's hard to find a "bargain burger" anywhere under $20, but Firebirds has a huge selection so you can actually find something that fits your budget without sacrificing quality. I was also really impressed with the service. Our waitress knew the entire menu from memory and was able to answer every question and make great recommendations without missing a beat. Firebird Grill was a decent experience overall, though not necessarily somewhere I'd personally return to given the number of dining options in Nashville. I visited with my parents during their last trip to town since the restaurant happened to be nearby. Upon walking in, the decor felt a little confusing. The menu clearly presents the restaurant as a grill, but the interior still seemed heavily influenced by what may have previously been an Asian restaurant space. The renovation didn't feel entirely cohesive, which made the atmosphere a bit disjointed. That said, the staff was very friendly, and we were seated quickly. Throughout the meal, however, there seemed to be an underlying sense of stress among the staff that was noticeable despite their efforts to remain professional and attentive. It created a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere at times. For dinner, we ordered the filet with broccoli and French fries, while another guest ordered a salad. Unfortunately, the salad had to be sent back because it arrived with blue cheese despite a requested omission due to an allergy. Thankfully, the issue was corrected. The filet itself was cooked to the requested temperature, and overall the food was fine, but nothing particularly stood out as memorable. Everything was acceptable, though not especially remarkable. Firebirds has a very family-friendly ambiance and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a lot of choices, so there's something for everyone. The food was delicious, flavorful, and well-prepared. The desserts were especially amazing and definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Unfortunately, the wine was very disappointing. It tasted like vinegar, as if the bottle had been left open for too long, which really took away from the experience. The service also wasn't great. Our waitress barely checked on us throughout the meal, and we felt rushed to leave rather than being able to enjoy our time there. With a reservation we were waiting for a table. Big crowd. Eleven minutes wait, not terrible for this size crowd. Our hostess was on the ball turning tables as the parties left. Our server was very attentive especially considering the number of tables they had. Our bread arrived just as our dinner was served. Obviously, the bread oven has a limit and there was a crowd. Everything looked great. The mashed potatoes had a odd taste and the server swapped them for a baked one. All in all, we had a very enjoyable date night. This visit was interesting. We made a reservation for this particular day at 7pm. We got there at 6:50pm. They said ok we are making that area clear for our reservation customers. We were not seated until 7:10pm. I thought that was why people made a reservation so we could just automatically be seated. We went on a Saturday. There were 3 parties of 7-10 in that restaurant, so we were like ok they are really busy. We ordered the 3 course meal special. My Mom ordered Filet Mignon for a $1 up charge. Ordered it well, well,well done. When it came out it was medium well. She cannot eat her steak cooked like that. There were no condiments on our table which comes into play when I needed sugar for my tea and salt and pepper for our food. Anyway the food was good, I took mine to go bc I had been there for a while. The wedge salad was a little brown with the lettuce and the blue cheese dressing watery. However, my rating of a 4 is because the Manager compensated us very well. He made my Mother a whole new steak to her liking to go. He gave us a gift card for the inconvenience. We've been to this restaurant through the week and it was fabulous. We decided to come back through the week instead of the weekend. Weekends are really busy there. Firebird has done it again! I have gone here a few times but this most recent time was great. I had high expectations because I was considering choosing them as a catering option for my wedding and they delivered. I got the chicken and I loved the flavor. The food was great and the service was even better! They had a great menu and the prices weren't bad either. I made reservations online and gave them the heads up it was my wife's birthday. They had a card waiting for her and made her night super special. It's nice to have an upscale grill closer than Franklin or Downtown to go to on a special occasion or when we're looking to treat ourselves. The cook was perfect on my Cajun Ribeye and the spices played super well with fattiness of the steak. Every bite was a filled with a rich Cajun spiciness that left me wanting more even after 16oz! Service was warm and attentive, and the overall ambiance made for a lovely start to the day. We tried the deviled eggs, cheese grits, and a traditional breakfast plate (eggs, biscuit, bacon), along with a peachy Bellini. While everything was good, the brunch offerings felt a bit average and overpriced for what we received. The Bellini was a highlight--refreshing and well-balanced. In hindsight, we probably should've stuck with Firebirds' true strengths: grilled meats and their solid lunch/dinner fare. Of course, being off the new MCP, prices are higher and portions a bit smaller than the older establishments, but Firebirds makes the differences worth every penny. An upscale experience with perfect service and really warm hospitality. Definitely great for celebrations any time of day, or for waiting out traffic hours. I stopped in last night while in the area and got a seat at the bar. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. They came out hot and the presentation was very nice. However, the egg rolls themselves didn't have much flavor. Most of the flavor was coming from the Thai chili sauce. The egg roll wrapper was greasy. I also ordered an Old Fashioned to drink. We tried doing a walk in on a Friday evening before, and the wait was about one hour so we decided to book reservations on another night to try it. If you're coming on a busy night or busy hours, I would suggest reservations so that you don't have to wait. Well we finally got to try it this past Friday for dinner. We showed up about 30 mins before our reservation time and got seated right away. I started off with the bread and tortilla soup. The bread was nice and warm. The inside of the bread was very soft. The tortilla soup was very flavorful. It had a lot more in it than I expected. I'm making out chunks of chicken breast, tomatoes, onions, and wonton strips on top. Next I had the aged ribeye and grilled street corn. I ordered my steak medium well and I thought it was cooked perfectly. The street corn was a little different than what I've ever had. It kind of reminded me of a type of salsa in a way. The corn was tossed with some tomatoes and onions. It also came with a lime so I squeezed the lime into it. I also tried their grilled salmon and shrimp. I had it with mashed potatoes and veggies. This was actually my favorite dish here of all the things that I tried. The salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The bottom of the salmon was nice and crisp. The shrimp was also cooked perfectly. It wasn't overcooked or undercooked. The mashed potatoes were also very yummy. It was my favorite side here from the ones I've tried. It was seasoned perfectly. One of the courses I got was their 3 course dinner, which I thought was a really good deal. It came with that tortilla soup, the salmon and shrimp with two sides, and a dessert for only $39. The dessert I tried was the crème brûlée cheesecake. I honestly didn't expect much of the cheesecake, but it was delicious!! The top was torched just like a creme brûlée and I honestly didn't expect that considering it was a cheesecake! Something else that I thought was pretty neat was I ordered some wine and the glass came out engraved with the letters FB on it. I thought that was pretty neat. This is random, considering it's a restroom, but I wanted to point out how clean it was. They have been opened all day, and I got here during dinner hours when people have been in and out all day. I used the restroom before leaving and I thought to myself how nice and clean they have kept it with it being opened all day. First time at this location, you can tell it's new. The staff was nice, our waitress was nice and very accommodating. We ordered our go to, lobster queso, it didn't have any lobster in it so that was a bummer. They have many new items in the menu that we were excited to try. My mom got the Salmon BLT with a Cesar (4.5 stars) I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich with tots (4.5). It wasn't spicy, it reminded me of the honey chipotle chicken crispers from Chili's, still hood and flavorful. Completely a treat for sure. Had a fantastic early Mother's Day brunch with my family. I had the Baked French toast with a side of cheese grits and two mimosas. You know it's a treat when you're keto and you go here! Our daughter had the signature Firebirds chicken pasta and my other half had Shrimps and grits. The menu was so amazing it took us all a while to choose, however we had a very caring and patient waiter as he was a complete sweetheart. Unfortunately, I don't recall his name however he had lost his voice. Really a big fan of the restaurant as we all have enjoyed at other locations. The food was wonderfully delicious and the service couldn't be any better. The drinks were excellent and perfect ratios and just truly an amazing and great experience. The menu has something for everyone. They have Brunch on the weekends, but we ordered off the main lunch menu. It's an American Steakhouse with Handcut Aged Steaks, Appetizers, Soups, Chicken Dishes, Signature and Classic Salads and Heandhelds. They have several desserts and alot of options for Sides with your meal. They have a full bar, covered outdoor seating and plenty of free parking. The biggest complaints we saw were the Prices. They have alot of handheld around$18.00. Most Entrees were around $30.00 and most of the steaks were $ 25.00 and up to $40.00. I will just say that when you go to a scratch kitchen restaurant where the steaks are aged and handcut and the sauces, salad dressings and desserts are made in house, you will pay a little more for Quality. The service is top notch. The staff were friendly and we had a manager come and check on us. I like that they have a 3 course option for $40. Personally I think it was a great deal. You pick a salad or soup, and entree based on a selected group and a dessert. My mother and I both picked the salmon and shrimp. It was nice to have the option to change your sides. My husband ordered the filet mignon and he stated it was okay. After my husband had a fantastic meal at the Brentwood location with coworkers earlier this week, he said I had to try it, unfortunately, it didn't live up to the standard. We ordered a ribeye and NY strip medium-rare, and medium and the first round came out well-done. Sent it back, and the second attempt wasn't much better--still overcooked. We said all good as the manager told us the lighting made it appear differently cause we were outside. As a courtesy, the chef brought out a third ribeye and said he prepared it himself; it was rare and cold in the center. At that point, we gave up. That's not just a fluke--it's a serious consistency issue in the kitchen. The mimosas were also disappointing. Very heavy on the orange juice, to the point where it tasted like plain OJ. Service timing was off throughout the meal--long gaps between check-ins, food, and no water refills. It wasn't busy, which made the slow pace more noticeable. It's a shame because the Brentwood location nailed everything: food, service, drinks--the full experience. My husband was hoping for a repeat, but the Murfreesboro location fell short on all counts. Let's start with the children sitting there fighting back the sarcasm that is the day and day out banter that they call conversation. It's one of the semi annual days where they have to be civil to their father and the strain is showing For his part. The father is not much better having to pretend that these kids or his at all is probably more than he can take, which brings us to the mother the bargain brunch. Bellini has already disappeared before the food orders even been taken. It's gonna be one of those kind of days about the Bellini. It was actually quite good by the way Considered having the bloody Mary on bargain as well. Who knows how this family came to this place how they stay together why they stay together and what does he get his gifts socks underwear sadly he's delighted and I couldn't agree more. It's about the best you could hope for in these situations What to eat what to eat the deviled eggs debated whether or not the candied bacon would've been better off it just regular bacon nevertheless they were quite good. Not a few side orders grits eggs biscuit the biscuit was good and the whipped butter made it all right the eggs were scrambled so what can you do? They did it right? The hashbrowns or hashbrowns again very serviceable enjoyed them didn't try. The grits just wasn't in the mood, but they looked good.
