Ahi Tuna app

If you want to dine in the Eastwood Mall area and want a great dining experience and food Firebirds is your place. It has a very comfortable and quiet interior. The feel is somewhat opposite of Buffalo Wild Wings that is across the lot. If you like conversation during dinner versus big screen viewing go to Firebirds. The food and service are excellent. I had the Ahi Tuna appetizer and was very impressed by the quality of the tuna it was some of the best sushi grade tuna that I've had in a while. Bar area is classy and comfortable. Enjoy!

Firebirds grill Order: honey garlic chicken with Port mushrooms and chicken corn chowder Was served a little loaf of bread but did not eat Chicken corn chowder 1st.. perfectly warm, packed full of ingredients and lips marking good! The port mushrooms were cooked and blackened perfectly. Honey garlic chicken topped with balsamic tomatoes with asparagus on the side The best chicken I've had in a long time.. nice and tender(not 1 though bite!) with a lovely smokey taste from the woodfire grill and the balsamic tomatoes were a nice combination And the asparagus.. was asparagus but even they were cooked to a soft texture Server was very friendly

Something changed about a year ago and this place has jumped the shark HARD. Their famous lobster dip used to be fresh with colored chips, now they use generic out of the bag chips, and the dip isn't fresh but reheated in the microwave (hot and cold at the same time). They raised the price of their steak sandwich to 25 bucks, when you could have made a hamburger at home that was better. There was a guy who looked like Mandy Patinkin who ran the kitchen and would occasionally walk around and greet the customers. Bring him back! Firebirds was really great then; a nice place to go especially around Christmas when the mall was decorated. Now we go to Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse. Plus, no more free meal for veterans; now we have to have a chaperone. cheap.

Burger was supposed to be medium have pink burger came out cold and was well over cooked stake was cooked properly but came out so cold it would not melt the butter potatoes were absolutely incinerated. I would leave a .01 star if I could this was absolutely horrible, oh and to top it off we had a reservation had to wait for a table to open anyway then proceeded to wait an hour an a half after being seated to get are food and we never got are appetizer.

I rarely take the time to write reviews for restaurants, but my experience last night was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share. I drove an hour, excited for the meal, only to have a frustrating evening. My group arrived at 8:30 PM, and we didn't leave until midnight, even though the restaurant closes at 11. I ordered the three-course menu with a lemonade drop, and sadly, the salad and lemonade were the only highlights of the night. My entrée, a medium-well steak, came out burnt and tough. The server was doing her best to manage a party of 15 on her own, as the other server had walked out. I spoke to her about my steak, and while she was very accommodating and took it off my bill, the experience was still rough. To top it off, while we were waiting to settle our bill, two men started spraying the entire restaurant for bugs. I felt the need to bag my clothes when I got home. It's hard to blame the manager or the server, as both were great; I just think that if they had more help, the night could have gone much more smoothly.

This is what you consider a $17.25 burger? Holy cow. Cheese? Garlic ranch sauce? Do you even pay your employees? Onion straws are pennies. Where are they?

An old salad that costs $20!

My sister and I went there Saturday and the grilled shrimp salad was terrible! They gave us old salad and tried to cover it up by putting the dressing on the salad to cover up the wilted leaves! The salad leaves were old iceberg lettuce that should have been thrown away! It's was terrible!

To our surprise the wait staff was very attentive keeping our drinks refilled, they never ran empty, when it came to our appetizer and our food they were always asking how it was, if we needed anything else. the wait staff are amazing and if not for just the food being great we would definitely dine here again. The food was immaculate, we had the deep fried pickles appetizer and I will tell you straight from the heart I've never had fried pickles as delicious as these were, not even Quaker Steak has pickles this delicious. 10/10 We each ordered the Philly cheesesteak, hers with the garlic aoli and mine without, and I have to say we were both surprised at how delicious, savory, and tender the steak was. This is the type of dining experience we have expected but have never gotten to witness. Barrel 33 has really out done themselves. The only problem I had and I'm sure my wife probably had was the Ambiance, the music was great, but the lighting was terrible it was difficult to read the menus and I was almost at the point where I was going to turn on the flashlight on my phone to read what was available but it's nothing to complain about, these old tired eyes just don't see very well anymore and it's not their fault. yes I would have liked a little more light to see, but I get it, the feel they were going for, which makes the overall dining experience enjoyable and pleasant. Thank you Barrel 33 for a great evening out with my babydoll. we will definitely visit again.

The beet salad wasn't my fav but it was ok. The chicken I would not recommend because it had literally no flavor and the whole thing was covered in arugula why My boyfriend loved the burger though! And I thought the wine was good This place wins in terms of ambiance, it's really gorgeous and feels exclusive. I just wish the food matched that vibe. I'd come back for their brunch for sure in the summer, I hear they might have bottomless mimosas??

We placed our drink order and waited...out came 2 glasses of wine, then the third and then the beer that was ordered. Also asked for lemon wedges for the water which came after the beer. Placed appetizers order of crab cakes and smash burger. Waited a bit and then placed order for two salads as part of our dinners. Salads came out before the appetizers. I must say the crab cakes were delicious (maybe not $26 delicious), the smash burger was ok, very greasy and fries were not very hot. My biggest disappointment was my entree, Parmesan Crusted Seabass which is one of my all time favorites that I order when I see it on the menu. The plate looked delicious but looks can be deceiving. The Seabass was more breaded than Parmesan crusted. Usually When I order this it is Seabass topped with shredded Parmesan cheese and baked, this was not that! Then the sauce that covered the spinach and potatoes and lobster pieces had red chili flakes added(which is not noted on the menu) which added "heat" to the dish that I was not expecting nor was I able to eat. For $55 I was very disappointed. No, I didn't mention this at the time as we were dining with family and I didn't want to disrupt the dinner by sending it back. Such a simple thing to note on the menu description! The short rib was the best entree of the table, nice portion and delicious sauce. The filet was tiny, maybe 4 oz. Definitely not anywhere near 8 in as stated on the menu and it was hard to find with all of the broccoli on the plate. We will be visiting family here again but definitely won't be back here. On another note, the music they were playing would be more suitable to a dance club than a venue such as this.

Umbrellas are a bit unstable. While there one almost flew in to the lake. But we are here for wine. Walk in and you can smell the food. I did not have any food so I cannot comment. Smelled good though. People seemed to enjoy. They had a special on sangria so we went with that. They said it was a pint glass. But it's not a pint. I have had a pint many times and this was just a solo cup that is less than a pint. Not the red solo but clear with lid. Sangria was ok. Fruit was a slice of orange. A bit dry for me. Not horrible but not to my liking. They have a handful of other wines. You can try and taste just ask. The issue was really the employees. I thought they were abrupt and kinda rude. I am here to spend money and it seemed like my questions annoyed them. Never been here so I wanted to know what everything was about. Maybe I went on an off day. There were quite a few people there trying to enjoy the day. Overall i might pass next time. Good view. But so-so on the experience.
