My family and I stayed in a hotel close to the Firebox Grill. I looked on Yelp for a place close to eat and this one came up. I maybe should have paid closer attention to the reviews. I clicked the link in Yelp to order food. That was easy...no issues. It says, "Filled by Grubhub." The whole on-line experience was pretty cool. Menu items were easy to select and add. Yelp/Grubhub tells you when the order was received and when you can expect it to be done. The app states that the restaurant will call you when the order is ready. All that's great...especially if it were anything close to reality. The original statement was that it would take 10-20 minutes. Once the restaurant received the order, that switched to 20-40 minutes, At the 40 minute point, we went to the parking lot. I called the restaurant, and the first person I talked to couldn't locate out order. She turned me over to someone who eventually found it and said it would be another 5 minutes. Would they call (like the app said)? Would I get a notification on Yelp? An email? None of the above. Very confusing. I just drove through the drive through 10 minutes later and got the order. Good thing I didn't wait longer. No doubt COVID has put a damper on things. But Grubhub was around long before COVID, Make the adjustment! read more

I ended up deciding with my kids to eat at this small family business for dinner the other week. Upon entering, immediately I was greeted with freindly faces of the workers at the front. One girl named Jean who took my order was so helpful and nice about recommending her favorite items on the menu for me to try. After ordering we sat down in the homey clean dining room, our food was done and we sat back down. To my surprise she wasn't lying about how good the food was. It really deserves the 5 stars I have given. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. Good job Akram!! read more

Really nice little hamburger facility..offering burgers chicken and salads. Combos are available at a reasonable price or if you order a burger combo there is a condiments bar where you can dress your burger the way you like it. Ambiance was very casual and the restaurant was immaculate, no dirty tables and for a restaurant the restrooms were outstanding. The dining area was elevated from the rest of the building however there were tables on the lower lever that accompanied those with special needs. It was a great little fast food restaurant located off the highway. Relatively inexpensive and enjoyable. I would highly recommend stopping and eating if you pass by one. We asked if their patio is dog-friendly (as is all the restaurants on BringFido) & they said yes! This is so convenient to us travelers staying near the Hamilton Place mall. This place is great! I have driven past this place hundreds of times and never realized I worked a cross the street. Tried it today on the advice of a coworker and it was amazing! I liked their bang bang shrimp tacos. I ordered drive thru and they separated the sauce from the taco which I can really appreciate since the sauce would've made the shrimp soggy so I'm glad that they took the step to do that. read more

I love this place! Please expand to Atlanta, it would seriously make me forget about a certain chicken establishment. The food here is always fresh, flavorful and healthy. On my most recent visit I tried the Beyond Burger with fresh jalapeño and sriracha ketchup. All I can say is wow!! It tasted just like beef. I wanted to take a picture of it but it smelled and looked so good that I inhaled it. The bowls are another one of my favorites. Love anything that comes in bowl format. My only complaint about the place is their entire menu is so damn good I never know what to order! read more

I would have loved to have eaten here. I approached the drive thru and was asked to wait a min. The restaurant was steady but not busy. Having worked in food service I understand the kitchen can get backed up. Cars stacked up behind me for the next 8+ min ( it was long enough that my ankle got tired of holding the brake pedal) a sarcastic female voice came a cross asking if" i had any questions." I informed her I was still waiting like she asked. "I NEVER TOLD YOU TO WAIT!" DID YOU WANT TO ORDER?" I kindly declined because I will not eat food that has been spit in. I am always overly kind and polite to all service workers. Because I was raised right. I miss when this restaurant was called Glen Gene. Hope they get their public facing employees sorted out. Call in and Pick up: I called in an order here for pick up at drive thru window on my way to the Saturday night races. I normally and recently been doing this before going to an event. Service: Well, they were fast and friendly. The girl on phone asked me what I wanted on it and I told her. I was at Exit 10 when I called this order in and by the time I got to Exit 5, it was ready. menu item ordered: Cheeseburger with everything on it just like an American likes. I got it with cheese, mustard, mayonnaise, pickle, lettuce, tomato, onion and it was good. The lady told me they don't normally put pickle on burgers but they would for me if they have any. This restaurant is small and I would compare it to a Wendy's. I think next time I might fine in here. Location: This is located right off Interstate 75 at Exit number 5. This place is pretty good. I think today was the fourth time I've eaten there (including when it was Glenn Gene) in the two years I lived here. Each time I've wondered why I don't come more often. Today I came and ordered to go for two coworkers and myself. The service was friendly and i had a very generous $5 off $20 coupon on my phone that they didn't seem familiar with but still let me use it. I got the Santa Fe style salad with crispy chicken and it looked great. The unfortunate thing was that I sat down at my desk to eat and found that they failed to give me dressing. Aggravated, I had to go back since I wasn't going to eat it without dressing. That'll piss you off. The nice lady at the counter was apologetic and even offered me a milkshake which I thought was nice of her but I was only interested in the salad. When I finally got to eat the salad I enjoyed it. Although I didn't use it this time, I love their "fixins bar." Today I regretably didn't take a picture of it. HIGHLY recommend!! Traveling/eating out for the first time since Covid, saw this by our hotel and decided to take a chance for dinner. Staff is super friendly and efficient, the restaurant (we chose dine-in) felt very clean and the ambiance was a huge plus with white string lights and big screen TVs. I visited at lunch and found the lot packed as well as the drive thru. The ordering process took much less time than I anticipated and was given a pager to notify me when the order was ready. The inside appearance was neat and clean with ample seating. Customers serve themselves at a condiment bar that housed about anything you'd want on a burger and a self-serve soda machine. I chose the Steakhouse burger that came with Provolone cheese, sautéed onions and steak sauce. I also ordered onion rings and a small drink. The price was around $11.50. The order arrived fairly quickly. I noted that the burger looked good visually but was lacking in seasoning prior to cooking (needed salt & pepper) and seemed to fall apart while trying to eat it. The "O" rings were good but the breading was hard. It didn't seem over cooked, just hard. Overall, I felt the meal was just okay and not worthy of the price paid for the meal. I really loved this place on our visit to Chattanooga. First, the decor was nice. Second, the staff was really nice and it was closer to closing time. Third, the cost is reasonable. Last the food was delicious. They have an open bar salad where you can pick and choose what you want on your sandwich. Me and my husband ordered the double cheese burger, it was huge, and we got kids meal for the kids. We went back to get chicken sandwiches the next night but I liked the burger better. We will come back for sure if we ever come back to Chattanooga. read more

Had carry out on our way through town. We order the gyro. Came back to the hotel to find out it had nothing but pita with lamb meat. They forgot everything including lettuce tomatoes and most importantly the sauce. Meat was good but without the rest very disappointed. The food here is great. I've been here twice because I live out of state. If I lived closer I'd go all the time. I've had their philly steak which was pretty good; just basic. But their firebox bowls are amazing! Everything mixes so well together. The restaurant is nice and clean.
