Food was great. Sat by the fireplace, nice cozy ambiance. Service was friendly and food came out quick.

We stumbled across this place on our way home from Seattle. We got there a little after noon on a Sunday and it was not so busy. The servers greeted us right away and were patient with us as we looked through the menu. So many options! They had brunch menu that had a Dutch oven pancake that I will need to try next time. We tried the wings that were so crispy and amazing! The corn dogs were also really good with their German sausage. The pretzel was good but it wasn't my favorite. It tasted too yeasty for my liking. Overall, great experience! My husband loved all the three German beers he tried and we would definitely be back.

Have been here a few times over the years. Good reliable service, with hearty food and decent prices. Happy hour really is a great deal. A lot of space in there (deceiving from the outside!), I've never had an issue finding somewhere to sit, even on its busiest, they find you a seat as quick as they can. The currywurst and pretzels are very tasty, and the jagerschnitzel dish is huge! I like that they have a small list of mocktails, I know it's a beer focused place but those mocktails are a great alternative! Always enjoy a visit here.

4.5 stars. The Bratwurst were so yummy and the crusty bread and mustard and sauerkraut were sooo perfect. Good beer selection, 0.3/0.5/1L options which is fun! Fries and chips left something to be desired for which I ding -0.5 stars- both seemed a bit bland and undersalted, but they give a huge portion. Will certainly be back for the brats and to try other things on the menu. I should also mention really bustling/loud ambiance. We came during the Oktoberfest celebration so there was a band with live music (that was also super duper loud). Not sure if this was a one-off or typical for Saturday night. Either way, it was a fun atmosphere but not the best for catching up with an old friend since it was hard to hear. Don't blame the place at all. Service was great.

What a great way to end my honeymoon! Before hoping on a flight back home - we couldn't resist stopping here and we were truly blown away by the staff, atmosphere, and food. I wish I could transport myself back to this pub for their delicious "German Mac n cheese." The whole table devoured it in seconds - I didn't even have time to take a photo. You can't go wrong with any food dish honestly. You will leave this place full and satisfied, but already craving to come back for your favorites. Also- their bathroom is very clean and cute, I appreciate that attention to detail. Just a 5/5 date night place 100%. Or a great place to hang with friends.

A great beer hall with delicious German food. My husband and I shared the hand dipped corn dog appetizer and rahmschnitzel. We also got the Octoberfest beer flight which was fun. I would definitely recommend stopping by when you have a craving for German food, or just a drink. They also have cocktails available.

Our first stop in town was for drinks and dinner. It happened to be happy hour which had some good deals. Our bartender was friendly and took pretty good care of us. We started with an order of happy hour fries with their curry ketchup and we loved them. They were thin and crispy just how I like. For dinner, I had the Jager Schnitzel and it was delicious. My colleague had one of their sausage plates and enjoyed it as well. I'm a big fan of German food and this hit the spot perfectly. Their menu is full of authentic dishes and beers. The food all arrived quickly and was full of flavor. The atmosphere is an escape from the PNW and you're brought to an authentic pub in Germany. We will definitely be back.

Thanks Yelpers for the recommendation! Arrived in time for happy hour and sat at the bar. About four minutes past three and there are already a hendful of tables occupied. (They close after lunch and reopen at three) That's a good sign. The single bartender was managing the bar, the tables in the bar area and the bar orders from the rest of the restaurant. Holy smokes! This guy was working hard and staying on top of it all! We ordered a Berliner Bratwurst and a Berliner burger from the Happy Hour menu. They both come with sides. Be aware the online menu shows the Berliner burger w/o bacon, while the in house menu shows it w/bacon so specify if you do-or-do not want bacon. The house made bratwurst is excellent. Nice 'snap' when you cut into it. Good flavor. The burger is very good and the bun is very nice. Lettuce, tomato and onion are on the side. Tiny pickles are also on the side and they pack a tart flavor punch. The french fries are very good. I ordered a curry sauce on the side to dip the fries in and it has a nice pop of curry flavor. The hot potato salad, that another reviewer said was too vinegary, was dry and not much flavor on our visit. Maybe they need to mix that up before plating to redistribute the dressing. There are a good number of German beers on tap, plus wine and a full bar. All the staff were excellent. Everything is clean. There is a variety of seating: bar, high top, regular table, picnic style tables. Restrooms are down a hall near the entrance. Parking can be a challenge: On-street or find a public lot nearby. Crossing the street is tough too - very busy road. We definitely plan to return. Food was very good, great staff, nice vibe.

We stopped here haphazardly and am so glad we did. The beer was really good. So was the house Chardonnay. The German chocolate cake was Devine. The chicken wings were huge and delicious. Staff was very friendly. We had a great bartender. Definitely recommend stopping in when in town.

Always a good time here, we come here every few months for a date night and it's the perfect place for any size of group. The pretzel is a must get for us along with any of the sausages. However our favorite always end up being the smoked cheese sausage along with the bratwurst of course. The smoked cheese has such a good bite on it and the bratwurst has so many flavors and herbs packed in it. We downed the food with the kolsch fruh beer (very light/ fruity) and the weihenstephan dunkel weiss (creamy and aromatic) which was our favorite of the two.

Good food and beer! I've been here a couple times for trivia on Wednesdays and it's a good time. Nice crowd, the host is funny and friendly, and there's a good variety of categories so it was a hoot.

Personally, I'm there on Tuesday's for their Steak Night, for $13.99 you get a ribeye and baked potato (sides are extra of course). Just don't forget to order a beverage from your talented bar staff. Just one caveat, on certain nights, your food will come out pretty slow especially on Tuesday for Steak Night, and Wednesday for Trivia Night. There is usually one cook. I trusted his judgment and let him order for us. We started with an order of beef empanadas. Very generous in size and three per order. We opted for the beef with one being spicy and two being more neutral. They were perfectly done and quite tasty. We had another beef entrée which was layered with marinara sauce. Interesting combination, but it worked. Delicious and very filling. Our server was very attentive and kept our glasses full and stopped by our table frequently to make sure that everything was OK. They feature live entertainment during the week and also have Trivia. Located directly next to the team store at the landing in Renton. Plenty of parking available and a great location. About 70% of those inside were there for the game. At just before 8:00 the Karaoke dude who runs it on Tuesdays race-walked past the tv right in front of us and SLAPPED it to face the other way - apparently so those on stage doing karaoke can see the lyrics. No words to us like "hey there - just to let you know we use this for karaoke so I'll need to shift the direction of the screen." It was like a hit and run move, and we were speechless. We asked about them using a different screen but not possible so we shifted our table to face the other screens further away. Tip for the restaurant: This is World Cup soccer - it's once every 4 years and many frequent your place to watch in community. This karaoke guy was such a rude jerk to the manager and to us, and it was the cringiest thing to try to watch a big game with karaoke BLARING out of the speakers. He's a true word class a$$ who was yelling at her (manager) and us when all he had to do was be a decent human and explain. Next time maybe put a little sign on the tv saying at 8:00 it will be used for Karaoke and to plan accordingly. I would NEVER go on Tuesday if you don't plan to marinate in the karaoke crowd - you will be in hell!!! The food was just ok, and had it not been for this terrible guy and the hideously loud speakers - we would have had a much better time - but would not have chosen this spot to watch a game, heaven forbid on a Tuesday!
