We just went this weekend while in town and there are two more dates coming up on Dec 13 and 20 from 11am to 5pm. The event was fantastic! At the event, they have photos with Santa, gingerbread cookie decorating, gingerbread ornament decorating, face painting, a bubble station, a hot cocoa station, and live music. All the volunteers were kind and welcoming. The ambiance is festive and fun! It was quite busy when they first opened with all the little ones trying to get a picture with Santa before their nap time. It was less crowded by 1pm. Would recommend stopping by if you're around!

The owner was friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of free parking in the large shared lot. You're allowed to bring your own drinks and food as well. We opted to make candles and it was really fun. You start with picking out your glassware, then cutting up the colored wax pieces you want to use and fill them in your glassware, then choosing which glitter color and scent you want. They pour hot wax to mold it all together and the candles ready to go within 15 mins. A great activity for all ages including adults. This would be a great option for any type of celebration, date night, hang out with friends, or spending time with your kids. There's something for everyone.

We are now living much farther away but make the 1.5 hr trip back for art class when we can. Just last night my son said, "Mommy, I miss Ms. Gretchen!" And I figured it was time to leave a review! Ms. Gretchen has a beautiful way of letting him be him, fully. My son is level 1 autistic, plus very shy at times because of lack of socialization due to a rare disease that keeps him in the house a lot. But when with Ms. Gretchen, none of behaviors are challenging, none of his behaviors need to be adapted - she is so loving and accepting in a way that allows him to feel cared for amd safe. To love and care from a distance in the way that she does is such a strong quiet power and we are grateful to know and to have the opportunity to continue returning to 29 Palms Creative Center. It was $60 for the two mugs we picked out. It took a couple hours to paint the mugs, leaving them to be fired that week. It took 8 days to fire and have them ready for pickup and we couldn't be happier with the result! This is a great place for families with kids at least 5. Lots of things that could break so a close eye on the littles is a must. Staff were very helpful and polite. Will definitely be back.
