    A very special birthday plate.

Such a fun and cool way to spend a night or afternoon! Great price, and good fun. The employees are accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful, I had a great time painting a special plate for my daughter to use for years to come! We will definitely be coming back to paint again. The high desert needs more gems like The Hot Spot Studio!

Our time was awesome! Gabby made our experience really wonderful. Clock it, gag it, period!

Met up with a friend to catch up and we had an amazing time! They have so my different items to choose from to paint and a great color selection. The employee was very helpful and kind! I look forward to coming back and trying their other craft options!

This is truly such a great place. The love and warmth of the owners flow throughout their beautiful store. While we sat and painted our pottery, I loved listening to all the customers that would come in. The excitement to finally have a place like this in the desert. We definitely need it! Lots of different activities to choose from. Pottery painting, mosaics, candle making , succulent gardens and even canvas paintings. A great variety of things to choose from. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful place to bring our families to. We can't wait to go back and create more here.

This is SUCH a FUN place to go to. We went a few weeks ago. You can paint, make slime, make candles, and my favorite of all which is painting pottery! Prices are very reasonable and the workers were very nice and helpful. Had the perfect day. On my way now to create again.

The staff was so thorough in their explanation of the pottery painting process and had examples of what the colors would come out as, as well as examples of how to get the most vibrant color out of them. The environment was calm and relaxing and the staff made sure that we felt confident in what we were doing so that we had the optimal experience. The best part was that you could choose from multiple crafts. They even had a kid's birthday party happening while we were there and the staff was super friendly with the kids. I would definitely come back and recommend that you give this place a shot.

The G'Babies had so much fun and the staff is so helpful. It's a fun little hidden gem in the high desert. Love it!!

This is a fun place to spend time with family and friends and be creative. I love that there are different creative activities.

Recently went in to celebrate my birthday with family here ! It was such an enjoyable experience ! I had called a few days prior to the date and spoke with the Owner Marissa who was so helpful and sweet we set up the reservation with ease. Day of event we showed up and again Marissa greeted us and explained all the process and what the studio offered. Felt very fun and inviting to just hang out with no judgment. We plan to come back very soon!

It all started when I made an appointment online at 11am when we got here nobody was here or answering the phone finally after over 1.5 hours I called and got ahold of someone who was extremely rude. And told me they don't open until 12.... I'm sorry your system made the appointment for 11? I spoke with the owner who is such a sweet person but it's sad that the people she has working at the studio are really taking the fun out of it and treating customers poorly. I wasn't going to make a post and just let the first situation go but after coming to pick up my children's pieces today and again dealing with rude customer service I feel like I need to warn people. Over $100 for crappy service isn't okay. Super unfortunate. Oh yes I forgot they waived one $8 painting fee When I went to pick up I walked in and nobody was there until I walked towards the back and was great as of I was a burden. I was the one having to deal with being treated that was as a paying customer. I am allowed to voice my concerns. Again I wasn't even going to post anything but people spend a lot of money at the studio and deserve to know

We came during the week around midday, so parking was easy to find, but if you're coming on a weekend or in the evening, I'd recommend arriving early since parking is limited. Our instructor, Sage, was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the entire pottery-making process and making it feel approachable even for beginners. We made two pieces total--one hand-built and one thrown on the wheel--which was really fun and exciting to try. The whole experience was creative, relaxing, and unique. I would definitely recommend this class and will be suggesting it to friends and family!

We took the one-time pottery class and it's nearly impossible to get ahold of them. After your class you're supposed to get an email a few weeks later to schedule glazing. I never got the email, had to reach out twice to get any contact. Then after glazing you're supposed to get another email to pick up your pieces. Guess what, I never got it and had to reach out again. Overall it took us over 3 months from the first class to get our pieces. It's a great concept and fun but would not recommend this business to anyone.

If you're a strong artist this maybe too elementary for you, but if you're average or below in the painting department this is a good way to develop some skills. The time of the event is two hours, for me, time was too crunched and I felt rushed to keep up and finish. Some brushes are a bit damaged and don't make the markings you may intend so don't expect perfection. The day we went they ran out of some paint colors- this is disappointing and should not happen at a business specializing in painting. I recommend always having backup paint and a person circulating for paint color refills. Additionally, I'd recommend making this a 2.5 hour event, you need an extra 30 minutes post instructions for patrons to touch up/ finish their creations without feeling it's time to cleanup and get out. Although it's BYOB my lesson learned is to bring a cup with a lid as painting neighbors don't mind sending paint splashing off the canvas. Overall, this would be a fun event with friends or reserve for an office party.

The instructor went at an extremely fast pace and was asked by several people to slow down, in between painting she was quiet, gave minimal instructions and turned the music on her phone to listen to while she painted, while we were all hoping for instructions, they give you three cheap paint brushes, and three colors of paint which you keep having to ask for refills on. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had painting. I was excited to get a paint your own canvas place in the desert, but I'd rather drive to purple easel in Ontario than ever go back here.! Save your money and go somewhere else.
