Tried three different tacos and YUM. The tortilla held up very well with all the gooey goodness on the inside. They are definitely worth trying. Will follow them to another stop again hopefully soon... Did I say that it was good oh, well I meant it!

I saw a big black truck with the words "Blah Blah Tacos." Once I read "Tacos" my eyes perked up, my heart started racing and my feet scurried quickly along. As this occured, I felt guilt seep into my heart. Was I indeed going to cheat on Taco Bell with "Blah Blah Tacos"? Would Taco Bell find out and no longer give me cheesy gorditas? These questions plagued me as I walked towards the food truck. I saw a fairly large menu with various types of tacos, empanadas and fries. I saw "Mac and Cheese Empanadas" and I almost collapsed from excitement. I ordered them along with a fired up chicken taco and fish taco. The fish taco stood out - great texture with crispy fish, slaw and corn salsa. The empanadas were good, but a bit doughy. While Taco Bell remains my boo, Fired up Taco is a nice side boo. Will come here again as summer comes and food truck season is in full swing!

Like always they never let me down! The fired up boys have outdone themselves once again leaving me satisfied and full. I always get the Americano but decided to add on a fired up. IT WAS THE BOMB DIGGIDY! Thank you boys again for dinner Sincerely Yours, An Always Happy Customer

I ordered a beef taco and chorizo empanada from the Fired Up Taco Truck at Light Up Lakewood. It was a bit pricey at $4 each. Although the beef taco was good, I doubt that I would order it again especially since it was just ground beef. I would probably get the chorizo empanada again.

The long line was worth it! The service was quick. Recommend the vegan and veggie tacos were fresh, filling and so tasty!

I went here on a Walnut Wednesday and dang these tacos were good! It was a while ago so I can't remember exactly what they were but I will post a pic.

I was at Public Square one day and saw this taco truck there. After a quick Yelp search on it with good reviews I thought i would try it out. First of all, it isn't cheap ($3 minimum for a taco) which surprised me. Secondly, the tacos aren't very good. The beef you get is just ground beef and the pork is shredded pork. Paying $3 for a street taco is a lot but paying $3 for a ground beef taco is even worse. Would not go back again.

The empanadas are fantastic, I have had the veggie and chorizo both so good. I now follow them so I know when they will be in Brooklyn.

We discovered Amigos a couple years ago, when seating was very limited, but they recently expanded and the decor is more inviting and authentic. We've tried a lot of things on this menu and have never been disappointed. Our food has always been fresh and plentiful, served with a smile. Two things I can ecstatically recommend: their house guacamole and their margaritas. Their hearty and bold guacamole is made fresh to order right at your table and it's become our favorite guacamole. We love their mango margaritas. We have found chunks of mango in ours, and make certain to always get the rims coated with tajin because they use tamarind to get the spice to stick to the rim--so tasty! This is a really enjoyable restaurant we always look forward to visiting!

The most unexpected thing however was how much seasoning and flavor they used on their chicken and other meats. Absolute game changer. The restaurant was clean and while was packed, had enough space to move around and you didn't feel like you were sitting on top of each other. Our waitress was very friendly and brought us a round of Tequila which was new to me. Overall I will definitely be back.

The ambiance was relaxing and we got the nice cozy booth at end of the bar ordered the Taco's with a side of rice and beans and a few margaritas. The food was delicious and we had a damn good time, but what really impressed us was the incredible service. Our server Dan was literally amazing, highly attentive and made us feel at home. I don't think I have ever had better service in my life. After that experience we said we had to come back again. So, we did. We came back to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday on a Friday. To our surprise the place was packed and busy. Since they don't do reservations we knew for sure we wouldn't get our cozy booth and the service would be no where near as good as it was last time. I was pleasantly surprised. As we enter the packed restaurant, a man came up to us with such a positive and friendly attitude and told us about the wait time and that he would add us to the list. While we waited we ordered margaritas and talked further with the man. This man turned out to be the Owner of Momocho, Eric. This guy is one of the coolest dudes you'll ever meet. He gave us a few of his delicious recipes he created, told us about his restaurant, and remarked on how great his incredible staff is, especially Dan. After the wait, Eric escorted us to the top floor, and to our surprise he put us at the "Chef's table". We had front row seats to watching the Amazing Chef's cook. Chef Manny was fantastic, watching him work, talking with him, and answering our questions about the different dishes made are experience that much more enjoyable. He took our orders: "Little Tacos" we got the Pollo, Machaca, Side of rice, Barbacoa with a fried egg and a flight of Margaritas. Everything was insanely good. The Margaritas are very tasty definitely recommend. At the end of our meal Dan personally delivered my girlfriend one of their delicious "Chocobomba" desserts with a candle in it, and Sang happy birthday with me. Overall this place is a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend it. I want to sincerely thank Eric, Dan, and Manny for the incredible experience, and for making my girl friend's birthday a memorable and special one. Also wanted to toss in here that it was fantastic seeing one of my favorite servers from the now closed restaurant "Xinji" working on the Momocho team. Shout out to Jack.

It was very busy and we were told there is a 30 minute wait. Not much else in the area so we hung out by the bar and got seated sooner than expected. The first floor is more casual with bar seating and high top tables. The second floor is more formal dining tables. You'll need to climb stairs (did not see an elevator). I was a bit skeptical if we'd have enough options as vegetarians, but was pleasantly surprised at how full we got from all the items we ordered! The guacamole trio, flautas, remolacha, salsa and chips, and drinks. We were there to celebrate a birthday and I asked staff (maybe a manager) if they do anything to celebrate. He mentioned they have a fried ice cream and can put a candle in it. I hadn't confirmed what dessert we planned to order, but before I knew it they came around with the fried ice cream and candle. So, we got to try that. Overall, good food.
