I received multiple quotes from other movers estimating 2-3 hours total with two men, and the owner quoted the same. Instead, it took 4 hours just to load and another 2-3 hours to unload, which was excessive for such a simple move. The crew was unprofessional, inefficient, and argumentative from the start. They complained that I had too much stuff, even though it easily fit in the 16ft truck they chose to bring. Rather than working efficiently, they walked slowly between the storage units, wasting time. When I returned after giving them space, one of them was sitting on the truck bed -- it genuinely felt like they were stalling to rack up the hours. After I mentioned the delay, their attitude changed and they became rough with my belongings. Later, while unpacking, I found damaged bins, misplaced boxes, and missing items, including my child's Oculus headset and about $600 worth of retail merchandise for my business. When I contacted the owner, he was initially sympathetic and offered to compensate me but later withdrew that offer and denied responsibility. I tried to support a young business owner, but the lack of experience, professionalism, and accountability was disappointing. It took me some time to write this -- between unpacking, working, and debating whether to even post -- but after realizing what was missing and seeing another review saying a TV was stolen, I felt it was important to speak up. As a single mom and small business owner, I value honesty, efficiency, and integrity. Unfortunately, this company showed none of those qualities. Fair pricing and they don't waste your time to get an extra buck. Last Spring, they helped us move into our apartment. We were driving to AZ from another state and at around 3AM with 3 hours of driving left, we realized we were really going to need help to unload our U-Haul truck in about 9 hours. The guys met us at our apartment and unloaded our truck in the heat quick! We couldn't have done it without them, especially with the stairs! Today, Tyler and Todd helped us move some items from our self-storage. They must us with their truck, loaded, and drove to our house to unload. Friendly guys and handled our items with care. My son and I injured ourselves recently, so Tyler and Todd helped us immensely moving everything. We 100% recommend Precision Moving and will be using them again with our future plans! One explained he was in college, and the other said he raced BMX bikes professionally. It quickly became apparent that they weren't experienced movers. It took them an hour just to take apart my king-size bed. The day before, a friend and I moved all 70 boxes ourselves in about five hours total, including loading and unloading. I hired the movers only for the large furniture: a king-size bed, two nightstands, a dresser, a bench, a 65-inch TV, a TV stand, a sofa, a coffee table, and an end table. Moving those items just four miles took them 6.75 hours, which is what I was billed for. After the first hour and a half, they had only taken apart the bed and moved the mattress downstairs. I asked why it was taking so long because it honestly felt like they were dragging their feet. Had I known they weren't actually firefighters, I never would have hired them. I chose this company because my neighbor had used them a few months earlier. I watched that move, and they were in and out very quickly. She also told me nothing was damaged, which gave me confidence in hiring them. Although I was frustrated with how long the move took, I still tipped them 10% using my credit card. I was then surprised to learn there was a 4% credit card processing fee. Since Square charges businesses 2.6% plus 10 cents per transaction, I felt that passing along a 4% fee was excessive, so I deducted that amount from the tip. They used Square to process my transaction. As a small business owner in Scottsdale, I understand the cost of processing credit cards. While I would not use this service again. I was also disappointed that the company's name implied the movers were firefighters when they were not. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. I was charged two hours of travel time coming and going to my place when they were getting ready to leave I googled travel time back to surprise and it said 43 minutes I was billed for an hour when I said something he said that they were going past Surprise to the yard that they had to return the truck too. Response to the owners reply The bed has hex screws holding it together, so the only reason it would be difficult to take apart is if you didn't have the proper tools. The fact that you wish you could provide bulky, glistening calendar movers has absolutely nothing to do with anything I wrote in my review or with the efficiency of the movers. I want to be a billionaire, but that doesn't mean I'm going to become one. Likewise, using a name that gives people the impression they are supporting local firefighters is misleading. I see that you don't take constructive criticism well. I stand by my original review and was simply sharing my honest experience.
