On this visit, they were offering a $6 Fish Basket. That was right up our alley. Two pieces of fish, waffle fries and two hush puppies for $6. We each ordered one and a drink to share. We sat in the parking lot to enjoy our meals before hopping back on the highway. Everything was hot and fresh. So much so that I forgot to take a picture until the meal was almost gone. The fish was a bit greasy, but I'm almost certain that the grease was clean. You can just tell when it's old, the fish will have little black bits on it. Service was fast and efficient. It was brimming with fresh garlic, basil and capers. It was beautifully presented with a garnish of marinated basil leaves, tomato, green pepper and onion.
