I like Firehouse Subs. The bread is always fresh and the toppings generous. My two faves (two because I cannot choose one over the other) are the Jamaican Jerk Turkey and the Spicy Cajun Chicken. The latter mainly for the flavor but also, it isn't sliced deli meat chicken. Plus, if you like a slight kick, I definitely recommend these subs. The staff always welcomes me when I walk thru the door and service is quick here. Plenty of seats for dine in and telly's broadcast the usje sports channels. Apple pay is accepted here! This is always a safe space for consistently getting a good sandwich! They have a pretty large dine is seating area so there's always an open table. i love firehouse subs it's my favorite sandwich place and i've never had any issues. but the last few times i've gone to this firehouse subs my order is NEVER correct. you can't work at a restaurant and have no customer service ethic. lazy workers make orders incorrectly. if i ask for extra mayo and then you give me packets of mayo "incase there's not enough" and i open my sandwich and THERES NO MAYO. that's beyond unprofessional and it's making me not ever want to come to this restaurant again. get better workers that ACTUALLY have work ethic read more

My 2 sandwiches were just thrown together like they didn't care with no veggies and not as much meat as usual. The last time I went they were out of the french dip they were advertising. 9/13/2025 6:20pm Not a good experience. Was not greeted when we came in, the 4 workers kept their heads down and were very quit. The person on the register did not greet us, he stood there and looked at us, it was really odd. We ordered then grabbed our drinks. The pop machine and condiment area was really dirty and sticky and the rest of the dining room oiled pretty unkept. My hook and ladder was lacking meat and did not have any onion or tomatoes. I was going to take it back up to the counter but one of the young men came out and started straightening chairs. That would have been great EXCEPT he was wearing his food gloves! He straightened chairs then went right back behind the counter and started making sandwiches, he never changed gloves or washed his hands. Firehouse is always so good but the customer service tonight was awful. Yes we came in at 8, after long work shifts and having to run errands. These two, probably high schoolers, were rude off the bat. Told the girl white bread and she apparently didn't hear me and reiterated WHITE OR WHEAT. Mumbled about how there was an hour left. We said thank you, nothing back. We even tipped them $15. If you don't want to work there, don't. It's that simple. You don't get to act on your own attitude. None of the 4 people working at this store on 2/21/25 at 3:00pm said "Welcome to Firehouse". They barely even looked up. When we mentioned it to them, they stared at us with a deer in headlights look. No people culture whatsoever. They need to go to Chick-fil-a customer service school. Every time I go to Chick-fil-a, I get a hearty hello and a genuine "My Pleasure". I guess that's what you get when you don't have anyone instilling customer service skills in young people. These are pretty good sandwiches. I didn't get a chance to snap my sandwich unfortunately. I got a small Hook & Ladder sub. All sandwiches seem to come toasted and are served with a side of a pickle spear. They serve Coke products. And have a large assortment of chips. They sell salads and other items as well. The customer service was nice , quick and efficient. The store itself was pretty clean and you can order ahead and pickup your order with no contact. I will have to come back and try out other sandwiches for sure. read more

I really like Firehouse Subs. Great tasting hot subs. I have learned a few thing that goes with most Firehouse Subs. Like most places that are made in front of you and steamed hot. Because of this they take a little longer so if you are in a big hurry you may need to go some place else. No hurry it is worth the wait. I have found it is best to eat in the store. Even though I only live five minute away if I take them home they get cold and soggy pretty quickly. Otherwise all is good. read more

Another miserable experience at Firehouse! I arrived at 3:55, exactly when my pickup order was supposed to be ready. There was no one at the counter and no one waiting, but when he finally showed up he was very confused when I asked for my order. He looked up & down and couldn't find it, and finally found the receipt hanging. Not a word, no apology, he just started making my sandwich? Then a second employee came out and when I asked why it wasn't ready, she claimed "... we wait till the customer arrives so it will be hot." Again, no apology, just an obvious lame excuse as the other one was previously searching for it. While all this is going on, I realized he had made the sandwich without first toasting the bread! When I said the site says the bread is supposed to be toasted, she said "Its toasting now, that's how we do it." Not "sorry, did you want me to toast it for you?" In fact, I never heard one single word of appreciation, apology, or regret that they had an unhappy customer. They acted like I was the inconvenience, not even entertaining the thought that they were actually the ones who were inconveniencing their customer! First time to try Firehouse Subs, very, very disappointed in service and food. Approached the cashier where orders are made, asked the young man about the medium Turkey Bacon Provolone sub, if they had bacon made of turkey instead of pork. He assured me they had turkey bacon. I repeated it twice to confirm and got a yes response. If I had known they only had pork bacon, I would've requested to omit the bacon. My son ordered his large Italian sub. Both subs totaled $28 after rounding it out for a charity donation. I left a $12 tip bc of the 5 staff members behind the counter preparing sandwiches. The wait wasn't long subs were prepared less than 5 mins. We were amazed and happy. Got home and checked my sandwich and noticed the bacon was made of pork. Immediately called Firehouse Subs and the mgr Jenny answered I explained to her the situation and she could confirm with whomever made my sub that pork bacon was added instead. She put me on hold then mentioned the person left for the day, and I should return the sandwich for another one. I returned with the sandwich, Jenny the mgr looked at the sandwich and said yup it's a Turkey Bacon sub. I had to explain again, that it was not Turkey bacon it was pork bacon. Jenny said oh we only have pork bacon. OMG!!! She then had the staff prepare a new sub without the bacon. This time it took freaking 20 mins!! With 1 employee working while the other 4 employees stood by. No other customers present but me. The audacity of Jenny, preparing her to go sandwiches bc she was leaving for the day, instead of helping to make my medium Turkey Provolone Sub??!!! The service sucked!! Jenny the mgr worst customer service ever!! This Firehouse Sub is poorly managed. The staff are not trained to familiarize themselves with the menu. We are definitely NEVER returning to Firehouse Subs!! The ambience ... just a couple dining in, no line, no phone ringing in orders, fully staffed however inexcusable poor service. Place is nasty and the people working are slower than molasses. I'm happy they are working, but seriously what is going on? Who manages this place? I have been here a few times and sandwiches are normally alright I mean alright, this location is horrific and after tonight I will never return! I love Firehouse but this place a BIG NO!! There was 1 person waiting for there food while I was first person in line. I ordered 1 sandwich and a chili. It took 20 min and there were 4 workers!! That's insane and not ok. Then I get my food and no love!! A smooshed sandwich and the chili looked like they scooped it from the trash. The lid wasn't on and no spoon Or napkins. I would not even complain for the wait if they could actually do there job. Sad times ahead. People don't even care anymore(kids at least), like I said kudos for wanting to work unlike the rest of the world but why even bother if you can't make a sandwich? Came to grab a sandwich with the family tonight, pulled up at 8:40, open sign was off so we decided to call to make sure. One of the girls working answered the phone and reluctantly told me they were still open so we decided to run in and get an order in. The energy and way they treated us was super awkward and rude, like we were a nuisance to them. I would understand if we came in 5-10 minutes before close, but 20 minutes is plenty of time to make some sandwich's and close up. On top of that they messed up one of our sandwiches. Never felt so uncomfortable, and when I mentioned it the girl looked at me and didn't say a word. Really disappointing you would treat customers like that. We were in & out in 5 minutes, plenty of time before close. Firehouse subs is a chain of sub shops that is sort like a Quiznos. A selection of a lot of hot subs, some cold and sides like chili. They have the cute Firehouse themeing and lots of cool lingo (like the hook and ladder or getting your sandwich fully involved). You know, if you are into that sort of thing. This one popped up on the other side of E-470 on Smoky near Aurora Parkway. There is limited fast food in this area so it is a welcome sight! I stopped in today (having been to another Firehouse before) and got a couple sandwiches. It is one of those places where there are 10 people working and no line, but it still takes forever to get a couple sandwiches. I suppose it means they make them with care? I don't know, but it is a little slow and a bit pricey (a couple sandwiches, chips and drinks where around $20). Maybe it is pricier because they have the fancy schmancy coke machine that has every flavor under the sun and kinda looks like some red glowing computer :) At any rate, I do love the flavor of the deli meats they use. The bread is always soft and fresh. And they have a varied enough menu I can find a few things that please me. All in all it is a good place to get a sub. I'll be back! If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is the most poorly run Firehouse Subs I have ever been to. It is run by teenagers who do not care about their job. I went to the restroom after ordering and an employee came out. She had taken off her pants and walked out of the store. The bathroom also reeked of vape juice and I assume it was from that employee. We also placed our order at exactly 5:20pm and did not receive our sandwiches until 5:50pm. 30 minute wait for 2 sandwiches!!! There were 5 people behind the counter!!! I also received the wrong order. I ordered a plain and dry turkey sub with mayo and provolone and received an Italian sandwich. After the Door Dash driver delivered the food, we brought the food upstairs and thats when that the two chips and cookie was not in the bag. So we called the Firehouse we ordered it from and complained, the person we dealt with said he was the manager. His suggestion was to come over and pick up what was missing. NOT!! We ordered it for delivery because we didn't want to go out. We called the Door Dash driver and left a message. We have yet to receive a call back. I have gotten sandwiches here for years. I now have to say I won't be back. 25 minutes in line with only 1 customer ahead of me. Employees were more concerned with online orders being made. My sandwich ( a simple BLT) had extra items. A single black olive, cucumber and piece of green pepper. I am sure leftover on the workspace having not been cleaned recently My husband asked for jalapeños to be added to his. He did not get them. The last 1/4 of his sandwich had zero meat! The bread was cold. The tomatoes not ripened and icy like from the freezer. so disgusted with quality of food and service . In a time when fast food places can't keep employees, and they are trying to train new ones all the time, it is sad to see comments here where they are so slow and place is dirty. It is kind of hard to clean tables when you have two people trying to please customers. New people are slower, so expect it. We went through it at some point. Order online ahead of time. Giving them down ratings won't help them get great employees. My experience here is that they are a bit slower but not to the point where I don't come in. They seem short staffed but the employees working are working hard. Most days are just fine. It isn't like I'm seeing them screwing around, I would have an issue with that. The food is always amazing and the staff is always friendly. Patrons all seem very understanding when I am there eating, and I come in weekly. If I need to wait a few extra minutes during these times, so be it. They make sandwiches fresh and they taste great. Order is always wrong. There are a few issues with this place that in my opinion all come down to bad management. Kids working there that don't seem supervised and the one time we had to talk to a manager to be reimbursed for food he was a kid himself who had no idea of customer service or how to problem solve. Only thing he could do is offer coupons but not remake our food. Have gotten doordash a few times and its hit or miss if the sandwich is made right and 2 out of 3 times there's at least one item missing.
