Order is always wrong. There are a few issues with this place that in my opinion all come down to bad management. Kids working there that don't seem supervised and the one time we had to talk to a manager to be reimbursed for food he was a kid himself who had no idea of customer service or how to problem solve. Only thing he could do is offer coupons but not remake our food. Have gotten doordash a few times and its hit or miss if the sandwich is made right and 2 out of 3 times there's at least one item missing. I really like firehouse and their menu, given several chances but this location can't seem to get it together. We'll go somewhere else thats consistent. read more

I was hoping to get some Chick Fil A but apparently they are closed for renovations so I stopped by Firehouse Subs since it is the same complex. Ordered the club and even donated to the Fire Foundation. My sandwich was delivered to my table and as I am about to take a bite, a long black hair is twisted amongst the lettuce and cheese. Take it back to the counter and state that there is hair in my food and he asks to take a look. I didn't want to make a scene since it was lunch time but you can't miss it buddy right at the top as I didn't even take a bite yet. He offered to make me another one which is a given but good customer service would have been to compensate me for my meal. The tables were dirty with crumbs yet a full crew was behind the counter just standing around. Maybe they should start cleaning up the tables or sweep the floors...hmmm. read more

I stopped by here because everyone is always raving about firehouse and how good their subs are. I went online and ordered the sub. Definitely a one up on subway since I don't have to wait in a forever line to order. Went to pick it up, it was ready by the time I got there. Pretty good service. The sandwich is ok, a little pricey but it's bigger than a subway 6inch. I ordered the honey ham and the ham is really good, but other than that just another ok sub. But I can't see myself breaking my neck to come over here to order, but it does get placed higher on my priority list than subway when I am craving a sub just due to the convenience of ordering online. read more

Firehouse is a cool joint to get a straight-up sub. The deli meats taste fresh and good. Same goes for the bread. I was here on a weekday, and most of the seats were occupied around lunchtime. The sandwich came out hot, not overstuffed, and pretty dang satisfying. I like the theme here and the "Fully Involved" option--mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher dill pickle on the side--clearly explained, although I missed the sign at first. I also really dig that Firehouse has a non-profit foundation "to provide funding, life-saving equipment, disaster assistance and educational opportunities for first responders and public safety organizations." read more

mehhhh. On a positive note, it is a step up from subway. Fresh ingredients, nice gimmick they have going on and very very friendly staff. On the other hand, I have heard RAVE reveiws from this place. I tried it twice, and it is just OK. Nothing special, no customization available and pricey. It reminds me of quiznos. I just went here for lunch and ordered the Hook and Ladder. It was good, but nothing I would crave or rave about. I've had better subs elsewhere so I wouldnt pick this out of a lineup,however, if I got dragged here I wouldnt complain either! :) read more

Walked in and met the owner today. Eric is so nice and he likes to give back to the community. He does lots of fundraisers to help the local firefighters or any firefighters in general. Kids even eat for .99 cents on certain days!!! I am serious! This food is absolutely delicious and honestly I will never go to Subway again, I'm sorry but it's true. read more

The cheddar brisket sub is off the got damned chain. Not sure about anything else there cuz I can't bring myself to order anything else. They have one of those coke machines that can make like 500 different sodas. But that's just something to keep your mind occupied while you wait for them to slap that brisket sando together. And when they do make sure you grab a grip of napkins, not cuz the sando is messy, but because YOU WILL jizz in your pants once you take a bite of that beefy gooey cheddar goodness. Alright so here's my biggest gripe with this place: You have an ARMY of people behind the register/counter making sandwiches, no line, yet it still takes approximately 15-20 minutes for a sandwich? I've been to other firehouse subs and they are 10 times quicker, you shouldn't have to wait that long for a sandwich that is nearly the same every time someone orders it. Also, the "welcome to firehouse" is beyond annoying, I get it, it's supposed to be all like a club and a firehouse but when it's robotic and no emotion behind it, it's annoying. Now that's out of the way, the sandwiches really are good. Fresh ingredients, crisp pickle, and good selection of drinks. Wow finally firehouse Subs gets closer and closer to my house. its always amazing. I know its a chain and usually i'm not really a fan of them firehouse is diffrent. Subways microwaves their subs, Quiznos toasts them but firehouse steams their subs. They never skimp you on meat and have literally a whole bunch of diffrent hot sauces to use. it is a little expensive but its worth it. will I go again well duh of course I will read more

First time and last time for us. Grabbed subs before stopping at the Reservoir and it was a 15 minutes to get our subs. There was a whole crowd of pissed off customers along with us. Open them up and not only did we get one wrong sub, but they were absolutely just thrown together without a care in the world. Sloppy, nasty mess. It was disgusting. read more

I always enjoy firehouse but wanted to drop a review after such a pleasant experience this past Monday night (labor day). I called in a pick up order, it was ready when I arrived, the gentleman (I'm not sure if he had a name tag, or if he did I don't remember his name) was very polite and had a great attitude despite my arriving 10 minutes before closing. As a person having worked in the food and service industry for 5+ years it's not always easy to keep a good attitude when you're trying to close shop so I really did appreciate that! He also let me know about the special going on so the sandwiches were discounted. The sandwiches were great and fresh as always and they have a great staff here as well! read more

One word describes it here. "Blech." Went because my husband has been to other locations and loves it. I've never been before but it seemed like a good idea. I only have 1 question...Are all of the sandwiches made out of grossness & mayonnaise or was it just mine? Seriously, how much mayo can 1 sandwich hold? Apparently in my case it was a lot. Ugh. Chaotic on a Saturday. Apparently a lot of folks called off when I visited. Apparently the workers that day were not happy because they kept saying that the boss told them to deal with it and he was not calling anyone else in. Okay?!? They were out of 6" white bread too and their POS system did not honor my Firehouse Club points. How can you be out of 6" bread when you also serve footlongs. Would you not just cut the footlongs into 6" subs? I'll probably give them one more chance someday. read more

I've never been and decided to try Firehouse, I will not be going back. I ordered the Italian sub and it was SO overwhelmingly sweet I didn't feel great after eating it. Besides that, it really had no flavor. The grossest sandwich I've ever had. Save your money and go to Subway, Jersey Mike's or Jimmy Johns. read more

I like Firehouse went in yesterday, they were packed. Took 10 minutes to get to the register, not so bad. Took about 15 minutes to get food, with a full house that's not to bad in my book. Food is always good, as for the others that say it cheap meat/products... Please eat at subway for 5 dollars and tell me that's top grade anything, their food seems fresh veggies crisp. My whole visit to the Aurora, CO establishment was a hot mess from the minute I walked in the door. I approached the counter to be "greeted" by a gentleman who never spoke. The entire time I tried to ask questions and order food he stared at me with an extremely annoyed look on his face. I ordered my sandwich with condiments on the side since my order was carry out and I didn't want my food soggy by the time I got to eat it. I finally opened my food to find they had put all the dressings on the sandwich and the bread was dripping dressing and completely disgusting! The sandwich was supposed to have cheese, which it did not have on it. I never contact establishments to complain but I felt this was warranted and the corporation should be made aware of the staff at this location. What a wonderful experience we had! We came in and the young gentleman named Tre at the register was so polite and attentive. He was very helpful and made sure our order was exactly how we wanted it. This location is dirty every time I've been. The staff takes a minimum of 10 minutes to make one sandwich and often the cashier has no clue what they are doing. Last time I went the poor cashier walked away mid order to get sick in the restroom but then returned to work. The sandwiches are sloppy and inconsistent. I will not go back. read more

New to the hood so I thought I would give them a shot and did...twice. Strange how they had about 12 employees working but it seemed to take forever to get the sammy's to go. All those employees and only one working a register and he was slower than slow. I think the layout is poor. People waiting for sandwiches stand in front of the door area while others try to get in...they were not that busy either time I visited. Quality of the sandwiches? Fair...bread is good, soft, but the meats seem low quality, very thinly cut. I would compare to cheap Sara Lee deli cuts available in any supermarket. Way too much dressing, even the second time, when I asked to go "light". Get them home (2 miles away) and they are just soggy plops of mush. I gave them two chances and won't be back. Some of the line employees were more focused on watching the tv above than making the sandwiches. This is the kind of joint that should focus more on quality than the theme....quite corny if you ask me. Your mileage may very. My child LOVES the place...for me? Not so much. I fear they are destined to run in to a cash crunch with that many people working there...seems overdone, especially since they were not that busy either time and...service is just plain slow. My sandwich was inedible. I did a build your own and the kid behind the counter didn't even really ask me what I wanted let alone acknowledge me. The customer service was awful as the employees were snippy and obviously disinterested about being there. After reading the negative reviews, I thought it was important to give everyone a chance to read something positive. My husband and I have been customers for over two years at this specific location and have had nothing but great customer service. Yes, some days they get busy and are a little slower, but otherwise they are quick on the dot with our orders. The owner is very friendly and always walks around talking to his guests when he isn't running the counter and making sandwiches. So, when reading the other reviews, please take into consideration that the other people may have been impatient or in a hurry to be somewhere else, and that maybe they weren't being very kind themselves, as people tend to do when they are in a hurry or in a bad mood. I live in the area and have been here several times. Today I went around 7 pm and ordered a sandwich combo. I had to remind the cashier to give me a drink cup. Next, the fancy soda machine was out of several flavors and was also out of ice. I had to go back to the counter and wait to talk to someone to request ice. The cherry limeaid sounded kind of good. I got some and looked to put a nice slice of lime in the drink. There was one nasty room-temperature slice of lime in the bin by the drink area. Yuck. Also, there was some unknown sticky substance on the button I had to push to get my drink. Lastly, it took a full 15 minutes to get my sandwich. There were 4 people working the counter and they didn't appear to have any sense of urgency. I wasn't in a hurry but why does it take Firehouse 10 minutes longer to make a sandwich than the folks over at Quiznos or Subway? I would only come back if I had lots of time. When my sandwich did finally arrive, it was decent. I would order it again. Attention to detail by management is lacking at this facility. Hope they figure it out soon. read more

Though the food is always good the service is always horrible. They seem to only hire high school kids that make it obvious they hate they're jobs. Every time we are there the workers are usually joking amongst themselves and when we finally get helped it's like we are bothering them. I've never seen a smile on any of the workers faces when they are dealing with customers. read more

Firehouse Subs is good! I know there are a bunch of sub shops out there but if you want a well made hot sub, go to Firehouse. I have been often and tried several different subs. You can't go wrong with the Cheddar Brisket, that sub is the shiznit. You pay a little more for them and they take longer to make than say, Subway, but their subs are also a lot better. read more
