This place is a joke you order ahead and they make you wait 30 minutes while there is no one in line. 7 people to make subs and no one waiting. Don't bother ordering ahead probably makes more sense to just order in line or even better go somewhere else.

In mean time a group of high school boys came and they had already ordered their food. Some got there food some didn't had to leave. In the mean time lady came over to our table ( one barking orders) she said she was the Carter and didn't work for Taco and wasn't affiliated with them but she knew the owners. And restaurants was short staffed. This lady was behind the counter and wasn't affiliated working the cash register and answering the phone and even went in to kitchen. I asked the carters name - employee said she didn't know who she was or her name. To the owners - your staff was working so hard and if you know that Carter- she was so rude demanding to your employees. Why was she using the register????? I hope the register didn't come up short - wouldn't be employee fault -And was she answering phone- maybe that's why some of the boys didn't get their food. You should be proud of your employees. "WANTED SOME PROTEIN-STYLE BURGERS"…read more The other day, my lovely wife and I wanted some Protein-Style Burgers, and the best place for these is at In-N-Out Burger. Unfortunately, San Angelo does not have an In-N-Out, but there are a few places around here that do offer some sort of Lettuce Wrapped Burgers, but they are just not the same. So, we did the next best thing: we took a Road-Trip to Cedar Park, Texas, to enjoy the Best Protein-Style Burgers EVER. This In-N-Out is only 193 miles away and makes for a nice day-trip in under 3 hours - one way. It's also a beautiful drive through this part of Texas. Arrived just after 11 am, and there are already a good number of people here, especially at the drive-thru. Joanna took our order: 1 Cheeseburger, Protein-Style, with Onion, Tomato, Pickles, and their sauce, also with Ketchup & Mustard. I am having the Double-Double, Protein Style, with Onion, Tomato, Pickles, and the sauce, also with Ketchup & Mustard. And we asked for 2 small drinks. My wife told Joanna that she is beautiful, and I totally agree. Filled up our drinks, Nancy grabbed a table, and I waited for our order at the bench. In-N-Out always has a lot of employees behind the counter, with each one doing their specialty. Soon our number was called, and these Protein-Style Burgers look delicious. Every In-N-Out we have been to, including out-of-state ones, always makes their Burgers the same - lots of wrapped Lettuce with a couple slices of Tomatoes and an entire slice of Onion (not slivered or pieces), with lots of Pickles. There is nothing like a nice Crisp Bite, and these Burgers provide that with every bite - and they are Very Sloppylicious with plenty of Sauce, Ketchup & Mustard. The Patty itself is perfectly seasoned and is very tasty. Lots of juiciness on the napkins below. No French Fries this time, just reducing our carbs for a while, and I love them with lots of Cheese on top. Since this is a Road-Trip, we decided to enjoy some more, went back a little later and ordered another Double-Double, Protein-Style, with Onion, Tomato, & Pickles with plenty of sauce (no ketchup or mustard this time). Also, Two-Cheeseburgers, Protein-Style, with Onion, Tomatoes, Pickles, and the sauce (with no ketchup or mustard). Caleb took our order this time, and the wait did not take very long - here's our food. These are also Perfectly Protein-Styled, wrapped with the same Crisp Crunch of the Lettuce and the tastiness of the Burgers. And they are Very Sloppylicious. For us, Protein-Style is the way to go - and we are happy we went. The drive back was as beautiful as the drive over, especially with full tummies. Grab someone you care about and take a Road-Trip to an In-N-Out somewhere, and enjoy a Protein-Style Burger of any size, on Menu or Off-Menu. Road trips are fun, and going anywhere with my lovely wife is always a pleasure. Thank You Baby for another Tastylicious Outing. Love You Bunches & Protein-StyleMunches.

I did ask to try aleida's sauce, which many people liked on yelp, but we liked their green sauce the most! Overall, very cute and colorful restaurant; loved all the decor. The outdoor patio, where we sat, was covered and nice, until it started pouring hard outside. Not a super authentic latin restaurant. No complimentary chips and salsa. My taco wasn't worth more than $5, tbh, and we paid close to $9..given it was shrimp, but we've had much better shrimp tacos elsewhere for less. I opted to have the single burger with cheese, fries, and an iced tea. I went through the drive-through which are two lanes and stopped at the window. You have to be careful because the outside drive-through lane they have people walking back-and-forth delivering food. In the lane closest to the building when you get to the window, you get blaring music. That was my only complaint. I'm not going to say they're fast food because all three times I went. I had to wait for my food. But it did come out hot. The burgers are pretty much OK they're not the greatest but the real meat the cheese is always melted and the vegetables are fresh. Now the fries I noticed people complaining on reviews saying they're burnt. I absolutely loved mine. They were perfect. The best part is when you reheat them in the oven, they get really crispy, which are my favorite. The pricing is extremely reasonable. I think the combo that I got was like eight dollars for a cheeseburger, fries and a drink. I have come back here more times than I expected so I had to give them the four star rating

Arriving back at home, we were pleased that the food was still hot and fresh. Their burgers also look thicker than what we last remembered, probably from additional vegetables. P. Terry's continues to be a solid option for us, but our visit tonight took way longer than what we expect from a fast-food restaurant.

From the moment you walk in, the experience is noticeable. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming without feeling overdone or impersonal. It strikes that balance where you can grab a quick meal or actually sit down and enjoy your time there. The staff sets the tone immediately. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged, not just going through the motions. You can tell there's intention behind the service, and that matters. The food is where they really separate themselves. Everything came out fresh, hot, and exactly how it should. The burgers were flavorful, well-balanced, and cooked right. Not greasy, not sloppy, just done right. The crinkle-cut fries had that perfect crisp on the outside with a soft interior, and the shakes were exactly what you want them to be, rich without being overwhelming. It's one of those meals where nothing feels like an afterthought. Every item holds its own. What stood out just as much as the food and service was the environment they've created. There's a clear sense that this is a place where people are welcome, period. Inclusive, respectful, and comfortable for everyone walking through the door. That kind of atmosphere doesn't happen by accident. It reflects leadership, culture, and a commitment to doing things the right way. In a time where people pay attention to how businesses treat others, that matters just as much as what's on the menu. And that's really what this place gets right. It's not just about good burgers. It's about consistency, quality, and creating an experience people actually want to come back to. Whether you're stopping in after work, grabbing a quick bite, or bringing friends or family, it holds up. If you're in Cedar Park and haven't checked it out yet, it's worth your time. And if you have, you already know exactly what I'm talking about.

Negatives: -Order taker/server's heavy accent very difficult to understand. -A la carte; no combos. Side portions (tots) are enough for two people we found out after ordering. -Didn't realize the burgers come with 4 Hawaiian slider rolls as the bun; we ordered off the wall menu behind the counter. Upon picking up the burger, the 4 rolls immediately broke apart as did the hamburger patty. Ended up being a "hamburger salad". -Cheeseburger comes with pickles; found jalapeños instead, on the bottom. - Coke at the fountain tasted like Diet Coke, thought maybe the lines were crossed. Server tried it and also at the bar then checked in the back and said "out of Coke." Impressions: Didn't care for slider rolls in place of a burger bun, as it makes for a big fall-apart mess. Sweet Hawaiian comes in actual hamburger and hotdog buns!! More negatives than positives so we don't plan on going back.
