    Chips for combo

Located on the corner of University and Stirling, this Firehouse Subs is generally pretty consistent. We ordered ahead in the app and it said it would be ready at 6:20. Was ready about 5 minutes earlier so that was nice. It's always kind of empty in there but somehow they have been in this plaza for a long time. It took a while for either of the employees to acknowledge me being there but I guess cause they were both busy making sandwiches. The sandwiches last night were fine but nothing special. Order was accurate and they remembered the pickle which other locations usually forget. The bread was just toasty at the front and back end of the sandwich rather than all throughout. I can't tell if they put less meat on than they have in the past but seemed like maybe so. Overall I will return when I'm in the mood for a hot sandwich and in the area.

The hot subs at Firehouse are good. When I saw they were for limited time are offering a French Dip sandwich. It was an Excellent sandwich well seasoned & auju dipping sauce, good topping Swiss chesse, onions & mayo. After a too long extended period of 5 years of No in house hot sauce due to CV -19 it finally back. Service is always quick & consistent. Never dirty & comfortable ambiance.

The food was fine, but the two guys working around 3:30 PM on 12/14/25 were calling my boyfriend and I queers and other slurs in Spanish thinking we couldn't understand them. Wasn't worth confronting them about it, but yeah! Love that.

Unfortunately saw this ant/termite in my basket after I completed my Firehouse Meatball®.

The food was okay as far as taste goes but I noticed upon entering the resturaunt it was not very clean. There were no other customers there when I arrived and there were dirty tables and stuff on the floor. I did not leave because I've eaten here for a long time with no issues. (Unfortunately, it is now several hours later and I have woken up due to a horrible stomach ache). I ordered what I often do, a meatball sub combo. The cost for a medium combo was a whopping $16+. I told my wife who I was on the phone with after I ordered that prices have gone sky high! Upon finishing my sub which tasted fine I noticed a small ant/termite looking bug crawling around in my basket. I will not be back at this firehouse which I have come to for years.

I always order through the app so can't talk about the direct customer service but my order is always ready, the staff are attentive when I walk in and need to ask questions or make changes last minute (like switching out my chips). My sandwich's have been a hit or miss so I guess it just depends on who makes it! But I've always been loyal to firehouse. I love their mission behind why they exist and that they give back to the firefighter community. The restaurant is always clean which makes me feel good about ordering there!

Anytime that I have come here I have never had a single problem and honestly that is amazing because I come here quite often! The place is insanely clean and they have minimized tables and space them out so you are always 6 feet away from people. They also told wear masks I'm encouraged touchless transactions as much as possible. Allow their sub or a little on the pricey side you are getting what you pay for it in my opinion because they are so much better than Subway or other sub places chain wise like this. I get the meatball sub and OMG is at Heavenly. It is always toasted to Perfection and the sauce that is absolutely delicious and seasoned exquisitely. The staff is also really friendly and help with any order or questions you may have with the menu!

This place is truly great, if not for the food, which in itself is great (I'm a big fan of the Jamaican Jerk Turkey), for the customer service. If you happen to show up during Lele's shift be ready to have a great time. Lele is singing, dancing, and enjoying life all while taking your order and making you a great sub. Definitely the attitude you need halfway through your day. And did I say that the Subs are great? - they definitely! - In my book this particular location is highly recommended!!

I didnt get what I order online to pick up, they didn't read that I didn't want ham and instead of white bread it was wheat. They also need to work in their customer service.

    Hook & Ladder Large Sub

I go to Firehouse Subs every so often. My favorite sub from them as the hook and ladder. This time I ordered it with extra mustard and no mayo. Maybe they heard no mayo or mustard because there was absolutely no mustard on the sandwich. I happened to run out of mustard a week or two ago and still haven't bought it. Otherwise I would have added the mustard. The sandwich was so dry. The meat seems to be pretty high quality for fast food. It is thinly cut and they are generous with the amount they give. I also got a bag of Lay's chips and a brownie. The brownie is pretty good from them. It was fresh. They are open for dine in eating but I brought my sandwich home. It was huge. I will come back here but will pay attention about the mustard next time because it really does make the difference for me.

Got there at 7:49 pm, says closing time is 8:00 pm.

I've been to this location plenty of times before but we had a bit of a day doing errands with my uncle so time to begin the review it's a very rainy day in Florida we're eating inside today looking in a lot of people sitting down no one in line I'm getting the New York steamer as a Large we arrived at 12:52 pm and a bag of blue Doritos I got the Combo there redoing the signs put the order in at 12:54 very fast smells good in here just waiting now gonna fill my cup up with root beer I filled it with the barqs vanilla cola it taste good no root beer taste but almost a scent type taste the vanilla is just a instant hit for me I remember making vanilla ice cream and this is the reminder and the aftertaste is almost like lemon on your tongue while I'm waiting for the food it's just raining outside it's been like this since 8 in the morning so just another Florida Bi Polar weather day my uncle got his first I'm just waiting now the guy said 2 minutes so just gonna wait there's anyone maybe ham and cheese time to try it also I got white bread and mustard nice and lukewarm the bite is sour with the mustard but moist the meat is salty but juicy and enjoyable a good combination the cheese is like provolone almost every bite is just a lot of salt from the ham or meat the meat taste like lunchables almost a lot of sodium but every bite is enjoyable and relaxing from a long boring rainy day the mustard just really brings more of a sour taste it's weird the Doritos are good just more toned down flavor from the seasoning or spices almost I'm gonna rate this a 3.8 really good but sour and salty not the best sun I've got here before but it's decent I got a refil of Fanta lime taste very limey and very spicy when it comes to carbonation a great combination I got another refill for the cup of Fanta lime cause I drank like 75 percent so fast total was $35 bucks for both us really good customer service and the man asked me howd I like the sub at the end so attentive and kind they get a A+ for that (This review was written in Chronological order of my experience here)

Ordering online was easy, and pickup itself was quick and straightforward. However, when I got home, I realized that both tuna platters were missing the bagel chips--so essentially I paid $17 each for just two scoops of tuna. I called the restaurant and was told they were out of bagel chips. That explanation raised more questions than it answered. If an item is unavailable, why not notify the customer? A quick call, or even mentioning it at pickup, would have gone a long way. I would have happily substituted for a bagel or chosen something else. Instead, I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant. By that point, I was understandably frustrated, and the response at the counter didn't help--the staff seemed indifferent. They did replace the missing items with bagels, which I appreciate, but the overall experience was disappointing. I used to really enjoy Marian's under the previous ownership and was a regular customer. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, the quality of service seems to have declined. We decided to give it another try, but this experience confirmed that it's just not worth it anymore. Disappointing, because this used to be a go-to spot.

My cousin from Miami recommended this place near Downtown FTL so I had to try it. We went for breakfast, but they are now open for dinner - but certain days/time, I'd double check. It's a cute, quaint, and more upscale deli than I'm used to but that only made me more excited. I was also very hungry. In true Yelp fashion, I looked this place up before we went and from the pictures, the portions looked huge, so my cousin and I split everything. But don't be fooled, we still ended up each getting an entree, and finishing everything. Like I said, hungry. Before I go on, the servers were great, nice, and the culture seems very accommodating because they kept explaining that we can mix and do plenty substitutions with our orders. It was really nice and refreshing for someone who wants to try a little bit of everything as much as possible. I ordered the Grand Schlam - which is like basic breakfast plate: a protein, egg, carb, and side. I ended up getting scrambled eggs, no cheese, the maple sausages, it comes with a Latke, and I choose the tomatoes with the basil oil as my side. Delicious. Eggs portion for the prices, amazing! The Latke was so yummy and perfect size. 2 maple sausages, not too sweet, which I like. And the star was fer sure the tomatoes with basil oil because it was refreshing with the savory egg and sausage combo. We also split the Corned Beef Hash - a popular dish there. It is a very large portion. My cousin finished most of it but only because I had some of it also. It comes with slices of corned beef, and shreds of corned beef on top of the hash, with eggs, and a side. And my dear cousin got a croissant as a side so he could make a freakin corned beef hash croissant sandwich. I mean is he my cousin or what. Anyways, it was amazing. The corned beef was perfectly cooked and not overly salty which was great. Then, we shared a Blueberry Pancake, amazing. Will definitely come back. They have the largest cookies I have ever seen. And I'm also interested in their dinner options too. Lovely gem!

This is the kind of place where the taste of grandmother's cooking triumphs over pretty furniture every time. Who needs chandeliers when the corned beef sings?
