Blaze pizza was a spot I've never tried before but it's similar to other build your own pizza concepts I have frequented in the past! They have a ton of toppings and choices to choose from and I chose a create your own 11inch pizza. The toppings choice is large enough for lots of variety yet I say I enjoy Pieology toppings a bit better which is a similar pizza concept. It's also busy during dinner time so keep that in mind! I would definitely consider blaze again but it isn't my go to create your own pizza spot. read more

Hubby went in to pickup online order of 2 pies and due to a mix-up on their side, they made a pie I didn't request and he had to wait while they made our pie. In the end the manager gave him the pie they made by mistake! Not the first time, the manager went beyond customer service. I went in to pickup 2 pies a month ago. I like coming to blaze pizza because they have cauliflower crust. I usually get the build your own where you can get any toppings. The cost of the build your own is $11.99 and it's $5 extra for the cauliflower crust. Service is usually very quick with not much of a wait and your pizza comes out fairly quickly. The tables tend to be a little dirty so I usually wipe them down with napkins. The most annoying part of this business is that they have a booth set up out front. I don't remember the name of the charity, but they ask you to sign up and donate on the way in and also on the way out. One of the reasons I like going to Blaze pizza is because if you order the Build Your Own pizza you can add as many or as little items as you'd like. They have so many different options including pizza crusts, sauces, veggies and meats. I usually opt for building my own pizza but they also have specialized pizzas and pizza where you can get one or two toppings. You can also get a drizzle of sauce including pesto, bbq, sweet hot honey, spicy chili oil and others on your cooked pizza, and my personal favorite is their pesto sauce. In addition to pizza they also have a delicious cheese bread and some salads. They recently added some sandwiches such as meatball, Caprese and chicken pesto. Looking for something sweet? I was super surprised at how many toppings and combinations I could make for such a great price. The value here is magnificent. I ordered a vegetarian pizza with soyrizo, spinach, roasted red and banana peppers, and a pesto topping. The size for a medium was a perfect for one and it was nicely packaged and sealed with a sticker to ensure heat insulation. The crust was thin and a bit difficult to rip apart but still tasted great with the toppings. I actually had a guy say he couldn't do sauce! Which was actually pretty amusing. But everyone I've interacted with has been nice enough. The restaurant has an open feel and it's nothing special. But it serves the purpose. I've found the pizzas to be quite good, and today's was no exception. I placed my order online through their app to ensure I received my "bonus flames" for future deals, as I was walking towards the restaurant. By the time I entered, my pizza was already in the oven. I selected their standard thin-crust dough, spicy red sauce, pepperoni, and red onions. It was delicious, and all the people working were smiling and welcoming. A complete disgrace what has happened to a great well thought out concept. Been to this place a couple of times now and the food has become marginal at best. The management team have taken their eyes off what's important such as food, service, cleanliness. This is an open kitchen and letting the floors get trashed throughout the entire day and no one taking ownership to clean it up, "too busy" is not an excuse to throw garbage on the floor, and then simply not wearing gloves or changing them to prepare and box people's food. Charging cell phones on the same area where food is prepped is a huge health code violation. And let's not talk about the impropriety of the person brandishing a pew-pew on his pants' pocket. Yes, Florida is an open carry state now, but if doing so, people must be 100% responsible and have it holstered. God forbid he was to pull it out and accidentally pull the trigger. First off, the pizza is either build or own or they also have signature pizza that will be easier for the customer to choose. I like the fact they have many different type of crust and dough, even for gluten free as well. The staff working there is very friendly, knowledgeable and gives a great attitude while working. Place: Blaze Pizza in Plantation Florida Parking: very very easy as it is in a small strip mall with a Starbucks. It is located at the intersection of where University Drive meets 595, so the adjoining main road can be quite busy. Drinks: Mainly canned drinks and fresh fountain juices. The pizza's are build your own style with a broad selection of toppings - from onions, broccoli and green/red peppers to pepperoni, chicken and garlic - and many more. They have several types of base sauces. At the end they put it in a traditional brick oven to cook. It is fabulous!! The pies are a good size for a personal pie and it tasted fantastic!! Service: This is a fast food joint so I didn't expect much. It was quick to create the pie and took about 10 mins to cook in the oven. Atmosphere/vibe: Went a week day around 11am. Wasn't too busy but the staff was discussing how to manage the inflow of a lot of people that happens everyday around lunch. They do have a large enough sit down area if you want to dine in. Love me some Blaze pizza! We order thru UberEats for delivery & it was just as good as if you were picking up. To order I got the Half build your own pizza with a side (my side was) BLT Salad. The BLT Salad had bacon, cherry tomatoes cut in half, red onions, blue cheese & I really wish I knew what dressing it was. (Best guess - blue cheese dressing) the lettuce is cut into shredded slices which is a plus that makes it really easy to mix altogether. Really fresh salad. Pizza is build your own. My pizza was a regular crust pizza (they do have the option for gluten free, high rise, cauliflower, and keto crust for an extra charge). Cheese was shredded mozzarella & fresh mozzarella. And toppings was banana peppers, green peppers, pepperoni, spicy chorizo (vegan), spinach, broccoli, mushrooms & hot sauce. It was very delicious! Since I live close to this location I come here when I'm craving a good, personalized pizza. The dining area is usually kept clean even when they're in peak lunch/dinner hours. The food-line countertops are always kept clean also. The employees are typically friendly but this location seems to always have new people working (probably because they're located so close to NSU). They do good at keeping the topping selections stocked up so you're not waiting around for them to restock. The only complaint I could think of is this location has longer wait times compared to other Blaze's I've been to. Much like other locations, when it comes to the actual pizza I'm always satisfied. Don't forget to ask for a tasty finishing touch once your pizza comes out of the oven (I personally love the garlic pesto drizzle & olive oil drizzle). read more

There are over 30 toppings you can add to the pizza for one flat prize but the best part is the quality of the toppings, they have roasted garlic, artichoke, roasted red peppers, 4/5 different types of cheese, fresh mushrooms, great sausage, meatball, etc,etc..you have to control your self, the crust is excellent , it's not too thin or thick and you can line it with pesto sauce. I've never seen anything like it. It was great, now have gone 2x. I will definitely recommend this "healthy" pizza. Service is great and ambiance is casual. read more

I have to say Blaze is absolutely delicious!! Many many years of me eating at Blaze it never disappoints. Always fresh, tasty and filling. They have many options even for the vegetarians and those with gluten allergies. My favorite combination at the moment is original crust, classic red sauce, pepperoni, bacon, red onions, roasted garlic, oregano and at the end a light drizzle of their amazing BBQ sauce. Btw my pizza in the picture has extremely light cheese just because it's my preference. If you have not visited I string suggest it!! I've always appreciated the concept and convenience of Blaze Pizza, and I've visited the Davie location a few times in the past. However, on my most recent visit, I was extremely disappointed by the noticeable decline in cleanliness and food safety standards. My biggest concern was the food prep station where all the toppings are stored. Only about half of the ingredient trays were properly covered; the rest were completely exposed. What really shocked me was that there were multiple flies, at least six that I saw flying around and landing directly in the open containers with food. This is not just unpleasant, it's a serious health hazard. It made me question how often the prep station is being cleaned and whether the staff is being properly trained or supervised on food safety protocols. It's very unsettling to watch flies land in food that's about to go on your pizza, especially in a restaurant that prides itself on fresh, made-to-order meals. read more

Blaze pizza is really good. This location had nice workers who all had great energy. I was displeased with the lack of freshness of the garlic. I usually load up my pizza with extra roasted garlic. This garlic tasted off. It may have been over cooked or sitting out all day. It just didn't taste fresh and the texture was very mushy almost paste like. It was strange. Had to pick all the garlic off. Other than the garlic the rest of the pizza was just fine. Plenty of seating inside and our. Music could be turned down though. It plays so loud outside. read more

I ended up coming here for the first time at the very beginning of the year. Every now and then I do stop by though. That first visit though had a line out the door! Turns out the night I decided to try it out there was a school fundraiser going on. Honestly, I thought waiting around would take forever but the employees were quick and able to get the line through asap.   When ordering, I opted for the build your own pizza. I ordered a pizza to share with my boyfriend where half consisted of chicken, sausage, spinach and goat cheese, whereas the other half was just a simple classic cheese pizza. It's a cool setup to order as the employee helping you walks down the line and essentially "build" your pizza as you scan the ingredients. They did not skimp out on the amounts of toppings and all the ingredients appeared very fresh! I opted for red sauce but they do offer you the choice of white sauce. There's also a multitude of cheeses, such as feta, goat cheese, mozzarella etc. Additionally, there's also plenty of toppings to choose from and experiment with! From spinach, olives, basil and different meats you can experience a new pizza pie each time.   Upon purchasing, we were talking to the manager about how busy it was on a weekday and she went to explain how this was a fundraiser night and told us it normally isn't this crazy during the week. She was extremely nice and helpful.  The actual wait for the pizza was super quick! The pizza came out hot and fresh. It was extremely delicious and my only issue was that I didn't decide to purchase two pizza pies! It definitely was a great end to the night.   I love this place and I totally understand why everyone else does too! read more

Whew, what a traumatizing experience I had last night . So disappointing to have to wait so long for my order (about 45 minutes or more). I literally watched people who placed orders AFTER me leave with their pizza before me. How does this happen? Bewildered, I mustered up the courage to ask the employee responsible for handing the pizza to customers why have I haven't received my pizza yet. The blaze employee said he said my name, ultimately blaming this mishap on me. He clearly must've whispered it. I was hungry and alert, anxiously waiting for my named to be called. My pizza, was just...sitting there. I no longer care to dine from here with the piss poor service I received. I doubt they even care, just sharing my experience. read more

There's nothing I love more than a great pizza. This joint is pretty close to great. With a variety of crust, toppings, and sauces to choose from, this is definitely a pizza place worth checking out. As a family of four, we can't always decide which pizza we want or what toppings we want. Blaze offers individual pizzas which allows for everyone to pick and choose a pizza and style of their own without having to compromise. My only complaints are that I'm a huge salami fan and they don't offer salami for some reason where other pizza places similar to Blaze do. I have two small children and as of right now I can get away with them sharing one personal cheese pizza, however, it would be nice if they offered a kid friendly size option the way other similar locations do. It can also get really busy during school time. Having the college right down the rode makes it for a very busy location. I would definitely avoid the lunch rush. Overall, Blaze is definitely a really good pizza spot and a regular spot for this family. read more
