Manager is an absolute a******! I ordered a hook and ladder fully involved and went to wait on my food, drinking my drink and eating my chips. After taking an unbelievable long time, I finally got it, but it didn't have lettuce. I said something to the manager, and he got an attitude, talking about how they didn't have a delivery, telling me I should have read the sign at the register. The "sign" was a post-it note that I obviously didn't see when ordering. I said they should have let me know, but with more attitude he tells me I should have read the sign, offering no solution. I then asked for my money back and was told that he would only refund the sandwich and not the drink and the chips, which is messed up, considering I didn't know they didn't have all the ingredients when I ordered! Never going back to this awful location. This manager is on a power trip and needs to be fired! read more

The food was alright honestly didn't even wanna eat it because it was a bunch of teenagers playing around while making the food screaming and yelling at eachother even with a bunch of customers in the store. They were even saying ewww why are you touching all over the food without gloves and then serving it to customers. They're definitely needed to be an adult supervising them. read more

The staff at the Fultondale location is nice and professional and had my food out in a timely manner. I also like coming here because it helps to support first responders by donating to them with every purchase. The music is also very good and relaxing so that made the meal. They also have a beautiful mural on one wall with a fire engine that contains a fultondale wild cat at the tail end which shows the place's support for the local community. I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a sandwich to support your first responders. Especially when You are on the way to class and need a quick bite to eat that tastes really good. read more

Firehouse seems to be pretty consistent from my experience but this staff was great!! It was a young high school student appeared to be in charge and she was fantastic! Firehouse Subs has a great promotion going. Each day they select names and if it's your first name, you get a free medium sub of your choice. The other day they selected letters instead of complete names. If your first name starts with the selected letter, you get a free sub. I was one of the lucky people whose name starts with a Z. I went to claim my free sub. I chose the steak and cheese. I enjoyed it for the most part. It had too much mustard so next time I will get it without mustard. The workers were very friendly. I love a good Firehouse sub. They have a lot of competition like Which Wich, Jimmy John's, and Jersey Mike's. I can't say I like them more than any of the others, but I'm glad that they can all stand their ground. This Firehouse in Fultondale is in a good location at the Target/JCPenney shopping center. It's super clean, has plenty of parking, and the staff is friendly. I ordered my favorite sub here which is the beef and brisket cheddar sub. I got a medium which my mom and I shared along with some food from Moe's. Sharing and portion control is easy when they slice their sandwiches in half. I could have easily finished the whole thing by myself of course. The brisket was so tender and delicious. read more

This is another new addition to the plaza off Walker Chapel Road in Fultondale. It's a pretty small location (I'm most familiar with the Firehouse in Tuscaloosa), but they've done a pretty good job setting it up. I highly recommend the Engineer, preferably "fully involved." Overall the food is decent, and it mixes things up from the overwhelming population of typical fast food nearby. read more

The subs here are by far the best sandwiches I've ever eaten from a national chain. I generally get the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket but have tried at least six others and all are excellent. The quality if ingredients, meat, and bread are top quality. The people and service at this Fultondale, Alabama location are always friendly and they seem to take pride in their job as my sandwiches all pretty much look like the ones on the posters. My only complaint, if any, would be that the prices are a little higher than one might expect to pay for the amount of food you receive, but that being said this is my favorite chain sub restaurant by far. Firehouse Subs FULTONDALE is AWFUL and the service is extremely bad. I am so upset for the money I spent with them. I went into this locations and out of 3 workers being in the store and it was not crowded no one greeted me. I get to the counter and this cashier "Lindsey" was extremely rude. She didn't even ask me if she could take my order, neither did she say hello. She just stared at me like what the hell am I doing here? I asked her if she was going to say hi and she just stood there. When she processed my payment she rudely snatched my receipt and placed it in my hand. It took everything in me to not jump the counter. I couldn't believe what I was experiencing. I will never go back into that location and I expect an apology and for their staff to be trained on basic customer service. For a 1st time experience it sucked! Food was good but the service in Fultondale is HORRID...Keep your loved ones away from the poisonous venom from their awful service to guests. read more
