I ordered for delivery. The sandwich was great and the French fries were out of this world.

The sweet girl at the register was friendly and gave us some good tips. We ordered a pimento cheese and bacon, the Italian and the turkey bacon avocado. We also got tomato bisque and pasta salad for our sides. I love vinegar, but the pasta salad was too much. Almost like Italian dressing had separated ans it was straight vinegar. Not edible. Tomato bisque was very good, but a little salty. I would absolutely dip a grilled cheese in it! I do not know what possessed my child to order the pimento. I did try it, but have no idea what it should taste like so ....I can't really review. The Italian was GREAT. Melted cheese was a surprise but I loved it. So, everyone raved about the turkey bacon avocado. I thought it was ok. The bacon didnt have any flavor, but the avocado was perfectly ripe. Its a cute little shop and adjoins the gift shop next door. Lots of indoor seating for when it gets colder, but we sat at the picnic tables outside since it was such a beautiful day.

A Hidden Lunch Gem in the Heart of Gallatin!…read more Tucked across from the new courthouse at 134 E Main Street, The Sandwich Shoppe has been quietly winning hearts since late 2024. Family-owned and full of flavor, it's the brainchild of Tracy Sayles--whose husband serves as a local firefighter and whose whole crew brings warmth with every order. I got to chat with Tracy while grabbing my go-to French Dip (plus pasta salad + sweet tea ). The sandwich? Tender, flavorful, and exactly what comfort food dreams are made of. And the vibe? Think friendly faces, fast service, and community love. Tracy even shouted out fellow local favorite Martin's Chicken & Waffles! Open Mon-Sat, 10AM-3PM 134 E Main St, Gallatin, TN (615) 390-4729 Final Bite: The Sandwich Shoppe isn't just lunch--it's a whole mood. Come for the food, stay for the people.

We started with the strawberry lemonade, which was delicious, not overly sweet, with just enough fresh fruit pulp to make it unique and incredibly refreshing. Since we couldn't decide, we split two entrées: the Lovin' Onion croissant sandwich (savory) and the Chopped & Topped salad (a little on the sweeter side). The sandwich was soft and fresh, with the perfect salty tang from the pickles and a satisfying crunch from the fried onions. The salad was a bed mix of greens topped with chicken salad and chopped strawberries. Light and perfectly balanced. We cleaned our plates completely. The small slice of homemade carrot cake that came with the salad was such a lovely add after a lighter dish, and the chocolate-covered strawberries felt like the icing on the cake of an already wonderful meal. Loved every minute of it. The staff was incredibly kind, too. Already looking forward to coming back and enjoying the patio this spring. Definitely a new fave in Gallatin.
