Great sandwiches made every time. Never had a problem and always accommodating when you ask for extra meat or condiments.

Grab your keys and take the roadtrip. This pizza is worth it…read more I have been to the food truck and dare I say, the brick and mortar is the best. The fam and I got several different pizzas, the boudin balls, wings, and a salad. I didn't hear any complaints. You will probably have a wait but it'll be worth it.

We came across Nola Mia on social media and decided to check it out. We got there shortly after they opened and were seated right away, but within half an hour the place was completely full--which made total sense by the end of our meal. The restaurant itself is charming and thoughtfully designed. There's a cozy dining area as you walk in, and off to the side you can see the wood-fired oven along with a spacious bar, which really adds to the atmosphere. We were welcomed by Liz, who was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Our server, Brock, was just as great--attentive, personable, and happy to share some history about the building and its past. We kept things simple and ordered the hummus to-go (though we had to sneak a few bites--it was excellent), along with a supreme pizza and a margherita. Both pizzas were outstanding. The crust was light, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, exactly what we'd been missing. Before we left, we had the chance to meet the owner and chef, Matias, who was warm and genuinely appreciative. As we were getting ready to go, we were treated to a little surprise--a butterscotch pudding with toffee crumbles--which was the perfect sweet finish. All in all, Nola Mia completely exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back.

5 Stars -- Incredible food, generous portions, and the BEST desserts!…read more We came in with a big group -- kids, grandkids, the whole family -- and we were blown away by how good the food was across the board. We started with the fried boudin balls and crispy house-smoked bacon. Both were delicious and packed with flavor. We also shared a bowl of red beans & rice, and even my one-year-old grandson devoured it (and wore a good portion of it on his face!). The brunch board was a huge hit -- such a fun assortment of waffles, pancakes, pastries, fruit, sausage, bacon, and more. Truly something for everyone, and perfect for sharing. For mains: * I had the Trout Almondine with cheese grits -- and those grits were honestly the BEST I've ever had. Creamy, cheesy, and perfect. * My daughter ordered the ribeye and loved it. * My husband had a burger and cleaned his plate. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. We weren't disappointed in a single item. And then... the desserts. Oh my goodness. We tried the cheesecake, pecan pie, and bread pudding. The cheesecake was the best I've ever had, and my daughter agreed. The pecan pie tasted like something straight out of a grandmother's kitchen -- my husband said it was the best he's ever had. The bread pudding was rich, warm, and equally delicious. The staff was friendly and patient with the kids, which made the evening stress-free and fun. Bottom line: we loved everything -- from appetizers to dessert -- and we will absolutely be back!

We got here around 8ish in the evening and it was raining so not many people here. So we propped up at the bar and ordered. I was in a martini mood so Gin martinis were my calling; they made them the way I like: slightly dirty w/ extra olives. I can't remember how many of those I ordered but they went down smooth. I didn't want to order anything heavy so I decided on the Brussels Sprouts and a cup of the Chicken/Andouille Gumbo. The Brussels were crispy and had a nice soy glaze to cap it off. They garnished it with some peeled scallions which gives a nice finish. I'm a sucker for Brussels Sprouts; if they're on the menu, I'm very likely gonna order them. The gumbo was pretty good, had a tomato richness to it. I forgot what my friend ordered; probably cause I had too many martinis. It's about a 10-15 minute drive from Hammond but it's worth it. Check it out when you're in the area!

Solid 4 stars for first visit…read more Food: great burger. Angus beef yes!!! Service: great. friendly. cooked to order. No complaints. Atmosphere: it's in the connected building to Exxon station, but it's a standalone business so there is a full separation via door. Really enjoyed the burger and fries, which were thick and beer battered, which is the best!! Value: This restaurant is a but on the higher priced side for burger and fries, but that is following suit with most other food industry partners. I would rather eat here than 5 Guys I can tell you that - if I'm going to spend near the same amount I'd rather local option like this. But I do have to mention value as point. This place is not out of bounds or anything, just mostly in line with most other establishments trying to turn reasonable margins. Todays pricing in general for a mainly burger joint are above what I would like to walk out paying; so, like many others, I will have to be making visits here a treat instead of the norm. Overall take: Dynamite grill passes the first test. Great burger. Great fries. Fresh tea. No real complaints. Quiet when I went. I will return for another meal. Thanks!
