Mmmmm, MMMmmmmm, GOOOD! What a great way to break a diet! I got the "New York Steamer" that has corned beef, pastrami, provolone cheese, mustard, mayo, and italian dressing. It was a symphony of delicious flavors in my mouth! They have the 100+ flavors coke machine. I don't know why, but the flavors never come out the same as a regular fountain drink (in my opinion). It is always a LITTLE bit off. I like the variety, though! The bread was slightly flaky, the meat and cheese were warm and melty, and very tasty! When I break a diet, I go all out! Firehouse is a great place! Super convenient to just place your order online and swing by to pick it up. I always get the Hook and Ladder, you can even sub cheeses, etc for no extra charge. I also love their selection of hot sauces! I like trying different ones, plus that bbq sauce is awesome. read more

Ozark Alabama recently opened a Firehouse Sub. They claim that their Italian Meatball subs are the best, no lettuce, no tomatoes, no nothing but nasty meatballs, sauce, dried up melted cheese on sub bread. I would just like to say this place was amazing! I walked in and I was the only girl customer lol but I thought it was funny! Every single table was full of grown men so you know this isn't going to be a little baby sandwich and it wasn't! I told roger is never been here before and he went over the menu briefly with me because he was making other orders and then I went to order and Ben was the greatest help and made the whole experience completely fantastic! I was in a bind between the mushroom sandwich #8 and the bacon turkey ranch #4... I got the turkey because bacon wins my heart and it was amazing!!!! We have been eating for years at this Firehouse...the food is normally good but the last few times and twice this week they can't get the order right and I have had to send it back twice this week.....by they time I get the food back, it is cold...the last two times this week a employee I believe by the name of Lauren??, typed it in wrong each time....I don't know who is in charge but I believe more training is needed.... read more

First time to Firehouse Subs today. I planned to take a pic of my New York Steamer (with extra cheese) sub....But, it was inhaled before I could turn my camera on **whomp whomp**. I LOVE a good sub, and this definitely hit the spot. I can't WAIT to try some of their other options. I had a regular fire house salad, as well....a bit disappointed in that....lots of romaine lettuce stalks and wilted browning lettuce. :-( Definitely nothing special. But, if I want a salad - I'll go to Salata. But, Firehouse will definitely be my new go-to for subs!!! I'll be back soon! read more

The sandwiches are uniformly good, or at least the five different varieties that I've tried. My favorites are probably the Smokehouse Brisket and the Meatball. In addition, they also have pretty darn good Sweet Tea. If there was one thing lacking here, then it would have to be the service. Both times that I tried to use their online ordering system, they've put my sandwich on the wrong bread. Also, on more than one occasion, they've just flat stopped answering their phone in the evening. They aren't the fastest, so I like to call or order online before I go. If they won't take phone orders while they're busy, then that's just an inconvenience. Lucky for them, I like the sandwiches, so I'll keep going back, just maybe not as often. read more

Awesome subs (meatball and brisket ones are great) but I tried a grilled chicken salad today and was really disappointed. Maybe no one shook the bottle, but the salad dressing was all oil- totally flavorless. I also thought the grilled chicken would be served hot like their subs (also bc it took over 10 minutes to get the salad) but it was cold, cubed, prepackaged stuff. Lesson learned, I'll stick to their sandwiches. read more

This location is always clean and I ways get great service. The menu is quite large and they always have a new special or seasonal item. The Coke "Freestyle" machine is pretty cool, you can get all kinds of drinks with different flavors added in. Great for families and kids, they give fireman hats out to children. Visited the cypress location around 9 pm and the place was pretty much deserted. My son and I ordered our subs to go as it seemed were holding up the close out. Don't get me wrong, the two girls working the place were pleasant enough, just got that feeling I was being served by the girl with the dragon tattoo who was having to get back into things that had been wrapped up for the night.
