I stopped by this shop for some lunch and the employees were very friendly. I got the Tri Tip Sandwich with sweet potato tots and the sandwich had good amount of meat and it was delicious. The tots were solid as well, will be back!

It was Busy, with "to go orders" but they got us taken care of. Ordered Rueben and out of Swiss cheese! Sandwich and fries ( perfectly cooked and seasoned) were good. Ordered Cheesesteak and meat was more chunks and gristly! Mac and Cheese was Al dente pasta, Dense and weird, cheese sauce was tasty. Small portion for the up charge . Deli feel to the place, few tables and counter, A friendly and kind staff. We won't go back because we felt we have other places with better product for our taste. IMO! Glad we tried it! Reasonably priced!

I thought this place was really good, and I was satisfied with my sandwich. Good attention to detail, the meat is properly caramelized for optimal flavor and texture. The bbq sauce is not too overwhelming although it is completely mixed in with the meat. The bun is a perfect vessel, not too dense and not so light were it gets soggy and falls apart under the weight of all the sauce. It's nicely toasted with butter, ala in n out style and slightly sweet. Overall a pretty decent sized sandwich, I was full by the last bites. The unique shaped fries were a great combination of crispness, real potato mouth feel and seasoned just right with salt -- no cajun just salt. If I could change one thing, I'd prefer to have the brisket sliced and have bbq over the top. I like to taste the meat separately from the sauce in some bites, especially being a shop that specializes in meats, I want to appreciate it's quality and flavor more, and have that full bite, as opposed to shredded. To use a pasta analogy, I'm more of a sauce over pasta guy and I can control the amounts of sauce, but I can also appreciate fully mixed in as well. Service was very friendly and place had a healthy stream of customers the entire time. I looked around the butcher shop as well, prices are relatively high (I usually only buy what's on sale lol), but would be worthwhile if it's really good quality -- something I'll have to research in the future. For now they get 4 stars, I'm looking to try the steak burger and / or pastrami next time to see if they can wow me enough for a 5.

Don't pass up on this simple deli with limited seating attached to butcher shop. The meat and rolls are so good. The sauces enhance and don't overpower your sandwich. I'm from California and would never eat Tri tip covered in BBQ sauce but this really works. Add slaw for a bit of crunch! The Mac and cheese is delicious but I love those potatoes. They are like a fusion of a steak fry and curly fry. Perfect! The sandwiches are huge... if I didn't consistently overeat there would have been leftovers

As we sat and ate our sandwich, we heard "BRANDON WAS RIGHT" lol as we moved our heads up and down and agreed. Thank you "Brandon from Las Vegas"Social media for introducing this place to us. It's a butcher shop with fresh meats and deli that sells meat and hot/cold sandwiches at the location. It's two separate locations on the outside and both combined on the inside. Bravo to the brilliant idea to sell sandwiches from the meat you sell. My photo of the club sandwich that has bacon, turkey and ham was only half a portion. It was stuffed with meat and veggies! Forgot to take a photo of the whole sandwich. My husband and I shared one sandwich with one order of fries and are super stuffed! We paid $18 it was so nice to eat freshly made sandwiches with freshly sliced meats. Our friend got the Wagu beef sandwich that said he would go back again t get it because "Brandon was right" too lol I don't live in Vegas but if I did, this would be my place to get a sandwich and buy meat from the butcher as my one stop shop.

I had been wanting to try this place but kept missing it since they close at 7pm. Our friend recommended it. Finally on my husband's day off we were able to give it a try. It looked small from the store front but once inside it's a decent size. Clean and lively but not too crowded. There was no one to greet us as it's actually a meat market, until we approached the counter. There were seats and tables along the side of the wall and stools against the counter. To the left were the seats, to the right side was the market. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich with sweet potato tots and a side of their stuffed beignet. The beignet was more like mini donuts. I had beignet in Louisiana and these were not like the beignet I had at Cafe DuMonde. It was the main reason why I wanted to try this place so badly and a bit disappointed tbh. The brisket sandwich was on the dry side, without any dressing. No cheese, no pickle or cole slaw or sauce of any kind. The husband chose pastrami sandwich with side of sindwinder fries. Now his was delicious!! It has cheese sauce, pickles and cole slaw. I had to steal a few bites and had a hard time giving him his pastrami sandwich back lol We shared a bottle of orange sparkling water from the fridge. I had to ask for a glass of ice of which the staff brought to our table along with our food. I recommend they add a sauce of sort and melted cheese or cole slaw to the brisket sandwich and a self help dispenser for water. Otherwise we had a great time eating great food with good service. Thank you Chip off the Block team!

It had a nice ambiance, but the service was subpar. There didn't seem to be a system in place. People that order after us were getting served before us. By the time we got our food, it was clear that the sandwiches had been sitting for a while and the sweet potato tots were scorching hot. The sandwiches were just okay. The bread fell apart really fast and the rye bread was basically stale. The chicken sandwich was nothing to write home about. The best part of the sandwich was the pickles and they didn't even make that in house. The fries were good but needed more seasoning. Wouldn't come here again.

Hello Yelpers! Okay... slightly embarrassing -- my wife and I have eaten at Chip Off the Block Deli four days in a row -- but it's that good. First two visits: BB Smash Burgers with sweet potato tots -- incredible beef flavor thanks to their in-house butcher shop trimmings. Third visit: Buffalo wings, sidewinder fries, and Cookie Butter beignets -- all delicious. Fourth visit: grabbed the roast beef sub "The Cleaver" for our early morning flight to Oregon (02/12). Took a pic and can't wait to dig in tomorrow. If you're craving a legit burger or a great hot or cold sandwich, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Thanks for reading -- take care! Also, service is friendly, and parking can be a challenge ... well worth it :) :) :)

This used to be my favorite burger place, but today was disappointing. I ordered a steak hamburger (medium, no pickles) and waited about 25 minutes. I was really excited, but when I got home and took a bite, I had to spit it out-it was cold in the middle and seemed undercooked. Normally their food is really good, so I'm a bit surprised. I go there often and usually recommend it to friends, so I hope this was just a one-time mistake.

A deli in a butcher shop. Great sandwiches. I had roast beef and provolone. Service was quick. Order at the counter. Pastrami is a favorite. Also the huge tater tots. They bring you the food. Just a basic restaurant. No frills. It's all about the food. A bit out of the way from the strip but worth the trip.

The food and service were both excellent!! The smashburger was exactly what I was craving and it totally hit the spot! The sweet potato tots were perfectly cooked, crunchy and soft! The service was friendly and welcoming, clean space to eat. Just a few small tables inside. Seriously a smart move for Butcher Block to add a deli inside their spot! My only gripe is their current menu situation! It's a small paper menu inside of a sheet protector taped to the counter by the register. When we were there there was someone ordering ahead of us, someone behind us and we had never been, so when we got to the register I was trying to smooth out the menu so we could see it. I asked if there was another menu...the answer was no. I think this is temporary because there were tv screens behind the counter; they were blacked out. So maybe not working?!? Hopefully! They had a good sized menu, but the pressure and stress to not take up too much time at the register was real!! A couple more sheet protected menus people could stand to the side to see would be a great addition to the temporary outage!

Wait was pretty longer then what was told to us before ordering.... I came for tha Ruben which they was out so instead I got tha pastrami... Toast was kinda hard And my wife got tha waygu melt with Mac and cheese which they lil noodle in them over all experience for me was ah 5ish.. from a 1 outer 10 Not worth all that hype

I cannot believe I've lived here for a Decade and have not been here!!! Everything was so damn delicious!! Place was nice and clean. There was a deli on the right side and the food deli on the left. Service was good and workers were very friendly. I hade the steak fries, wagyu burger, and I had ordered a clubhouse wrap. When I got home they had accidently gave it in a lettuce wrap, which I didnt mind because I had the fries. However, it was so good as a lettuce wrap anyway I can imagine how much better it would've been in an actual tortilla wrap!!! You can taste the freshness in everything. Omg. I am no longer ordering burgers, fries, or wraps anywhere else but here.

Has the S. Rainbow location opened back up?

    Yes! It's open again

Has the wait time improved? I've been there twice for a sandwich and the wait time was 30-40 minutes during off peak hours.

Turns out she was the owner (Andrea). She was so friendly and helpful and just a delight! Once she seated us she came back and brought us a small cup of some type of cabbage soup to try, which was phenomenal! The menu is ginormous! Like the Cheesecake Factory menu... so much to see it takes a while to narrow things down. Our waitress was a young bubbly lady who was very friendly and knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She took time to answer all our questions and just really looked like she liked her job (go figure!). The portion sizes are insane! The food was very hot and very tasty. I struggled to finish mine but once I removed the food from the bun, that seemed to help. Paying the bill was easy as they have the receipts with the QR code that goes right to the Toast app. Unfortunately we didn't save room for dessert but after we were done eating we did go look at all the goodies in the case. Quite a selection and lots of people in line. Kind of glad we live on the other side of town because if we lived closer we'd go broke from eating here more often lol. Had the traditional eggs Benedict with potato's one egg was a bit more cooked than the other, but the two of them combined to be just fine. The potatoes were way too burnt. Now, I will say that I ordered breakfast late in the day, so why would they make new potatoes that late in the day. Now, the other hand would say, why are you going to serve anything below my standards? If the potatoes are so burnt, they are hard, black and you cannot find a potato soft enough to stick a fork in it, then that is just neglectful or you do not care. I tend to believe in the good in people, so I am guessing they did not want to disappoint a customer that ordered potatoes by telling them we ran out. Would you like something else instead. I have been in for lunches and salads and soups are above my standards and their challah bread French toast makes wonder how could anyone put up with Texas Toast. Their coffee cake is to die for.

Everything started out great. They have a kiosk to order when you first enter and we wanted to share a meatball sandwich. The gentleman making the pizza let us know they'd had some issues with orders going through and to check with the person at the cash register to make sure everything processed properly. He looked and said it was good. At that point my husband had seen the sicilian pizza and wanted to see if it was anything similar to his Nana's and asked to add it. The man at the cash register said it would need to be a separate order- no problem- so we paid. We were enjoying the pizza slice while waiting for the sandwich that never came. The guy who was making the pizzas noticed we were still waiting and asked what we had ordered. They said the payment never processed. My husband, rightfully upset at this point, asked what the point was of confirming the order had gone through if they guy wasn't actually confirming it? I finally said I would just pay for the two bottles of water we'd had and go on with our day. The rep offered to still do the sandwich but at this point we had to go get the kids and didn't have time to wait again and then eat. He told the pizza making gentleman (who in my opinion did nothing wrong and was amazing) that this was why he needed to stop telling people and just keep his mouth shut. Ultimately, he was in the wrong. When my husband came to the register to confirm the kiosk order had gone through he should have ACTUALLY confirmed it. The pizza was good, but we won't be back... this is not how you handle customer service situations.

I finally asked, "Can we place our order, please?" and was told, "Just a minute." At that point, I decided to leave. I can't speak to anyone's intentions. I can only tell you what I experienced. I left feeling unwelcome. As a first-time customer, I did not feel that my business was valued or that my money was wanted there. Whether that was intentional or not, that was the impression I left with, and since this was my first visit, it was also my only impression of The Bagel Cafe.
