Ordered delivery which usually doesn't take long at all. After a few minutes I recieve a message that my order will be delivered through Uber Eats. Waited over 45 minutes to get my order which was only 1 sandwich. Ordered at 4:45 and it's 5:30 and still haven't received anything. Back then I thought they used to do 10 minutes deliveries. I was meeting up with a couple people while they were briefly in town. Sadly the upstairs dining was blocked off so the five of us crammed into a smaller table and enjoyed our lunch. They were very quick with making all of our sandwiches. The restaurant was very clean and the workers were really nice. I was the only one to order a little off the menu and go the un-wich. They replace the bread with iceberg lettuce. I got a number ten with the Jimmy John peppers. Sadly I forgot to take a photo. The reason for the four stars is due to the limited dining area. When you enter the restaurant, the main floor looks just like any other Jimmy John's, but when you go further inside, you'll find a staircase leading upstairs to more seating options. "We don't do that here" says the manager; before spinning the card machine around, where the first tip amount was 22%. Screw this assh*le, should have stiffed them. I placed a carry out order on Wednesday evening online, for a pick-up on Thursday afternoon for a event. The catering order consisted of 14 box orders which includes a 8'' sandwich, cookie, chips, and a pickle. There were a variety of different sandwiches ordered - [4] Turkey and Cheese [4] Ham and Cheese [2] Roast Beef and Cheese [2] Veggies [2] Hunter's Club The bread was made fresh to order. All of the boxes were assembled perfectly. The order was ready about 20 minutes ahead of pick-up since I had arrived early at this Jimmy John's location. The team members were quite helpful getting the cater order assembled and provided a large box to carry the order in. I'd stop by this location again for another catering event. read more

By the look of their reviews so far, their very underrated! I ordered very close to Closing time, the #7. Which is their Eastcoast Spicy meats. (Something like that?) It's got thinly sliced Genoa Salami, and double meat Spicy hot Cappicola, and provolone of course? Plus all the other regular suspects, thinly sliced lettuce, tomato & onions..plus sweet cherry pepper slices on an 8" Sub roll. It was pretty impressive. Had not been to Jimmy John's in years & years? And this sandwich is new, and was not available back then. It's pretty well rounded for you Italian Submarine lovers I was craving it for days looking around for a Capriotti's nearby. And ended up opting for this place? I don't regret it at all, as I used to order their Gargantuan that had everything with extra meats included! Everything. Delivery took an hour and 15 minutes. Called store repeatedly and was told it will be there in 10 minutes. They did that for an hour and 15. Then at some point they took the phone off the hook. I asked that the sandwiches be cut in have and they were not. I asked for extra cucumber. I got 5 paper thin pieces of cucumber. Sandwiches that should be cold were warm. Sandwiches that were supposed to be to be toasted were soft and mushy. My place of work is directly across the street from jimmy johns. Absolutely HORRIBLE service! We made a bulk online order three hours in advance. We ordered 13 box lunches and arrived to only having 11. When we pointed out the error the young man working threw a fit and attempted to state we had everything on the receipt. We pointed out that the order was missing two meals. While we waited for him to make the meals, another woman walked in with a bulk order of the "30 slices" box. The staff member just handed her 10 full sandwiches. She too pointed out the error and got the same angry attitude. A third person walked in looking to pick up an online order that they had placed twenty minutes prior, the staff member upon seeing the email confirmation said, yea, we don't have that, sorry. The customer insisted he check again and he found the receipt buried in an unknown pile by the register and said, "oh, I guess we just missed it." I've been patronizing Jimmy John's in Northern Nevada for years never experiencing this level of attitude nor incompetence, but if this is how the chains are being ran in Las Vegas, the owners need to take a hard look at who's interviewing and training their staff. read more

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. This location is closet to my work. I ordered a #5 on French Bread. It is the Italian and I had everything on it. They handed me my sandwich right away-I had just ordered it--I haven't ever had that fast of a turnaround on a sandwich before! I made it a meal with barbecue baked chips and sweet tea. It was very good and filling. Everything was fresh from the deli meats to the veggies and fresh baked French bread. I recommend this location. The employees are friendly and welcoming. Wow when they say they make their sandwich fresh, from house made baked bread to freshly slice deli, cheese, and toppings, it's a win-win. I went for The Veggie ($5.69) which has layers of provolone cheese, real avocado spread, sliced cucumber, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, mayo, and I requested to add hot peppers. The hot peppers definitely gives The Veggie sandwich a nice spicy kick. And I like the texture of their bread, it makes the sandwich very satisfying. You can purchase a day old bread for 50 cents and it is a great bargain deal. If you want a tasty dessert, they have cookies sourced from a local vendor in Las Vegas. They have Raisin Oatmeal ($1.75) and Triple Chocolate Chunk ($1.75). I was told to heat in the microwave because it taste better when the cookie is warm. Both cookies taste good. But if I were to choose between the two cookies, I would go for the Triple Chocolate Chunk simply because it's made with good quality Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips. The service is fast and I like how the ingredients are fresh. It wasn't busy when I came so I had a chance to learn a little history about Jimmy John's. The owner began work at a hot dog stand, and later on he ventured toward building a small business making a simple gourmet sandwich and delivering it fresh. What's impressive is that Jimmy John is always smiling, I was able to see a jolly and cheerful photo of him. This place is a very chill and relaxing environment with good music in the background. They have a large sandwich menu board and I love the positive quotes that are featured on the wall. I had a very good lunch here today. The #14 bootlegger with peppers and sauce is what I order and it's crazy quick (deliberately trying not to use their slogan). If I need to grab something quick for lunch, this is the place. As soon as you're done ordering the sandwich is already done and waiting at the other end of the counter! I like the flavor of the roast beef because it's seasoned just right for my taste. The restaurant and restrooms are usually clean and the service is quick. First time leaving a review for anyone but felt I had to. Enjoying food and a group of young men came in and ordered food. One or two of the group did not order. One of this not ordering went to the restroom, why he walked out the lady at the front stopped him and demanded he order food since he used the restroom. The kid was just standing there why do I need to order food, and she demanded again the restrooms are for customers and he had to order and couldn't leave the stove. I told the kid to walk out and just leave. He did so then the lady started yelling at me saying I needed to buy something (after I have already ordered $25 and eaten their product) in order to make up for their lost revenue. When I refused she told me to leave and never come back. HAPPY TO!!! Now there was a sign on door stating restrooms are for customers only, but once he was leaving and she demands he stay to order constitutes false defense and possible kidnapping. It was the businesses job to prevent him from using restroom to begin with not to detain him if he didn't. read more

Came here today for lunch because I've never tried a JJ and I've been seeing them all over the city. The sandwich I had was the worst I've had in awhile , I ordered the number 9 the Italian night club and all I could taste was a strong taste of mayonnaise and lots of lettuce that is all I rememer about that sandwich, there was no taste of oil and vinegar just lots of mayonnaise and lettuce. After I left this place I really wish I never ate there. I won't be back here. All of the sandwiches I seen on menu did not look that good and there was no hot opions of sandwiches to choose from. I work nearby & come here for takeout lunch maybe once a month. The employees are always great & fast. The food is consistently good. Today I ordered the tuna unwich & modified easily using their online ordering app. There are a lot of free options to add to your sandwich such as peppers, pickles and condiments. There are also options to add for an extra fee such as bacon and avocado. This location is by UNLV. The strip mall isn't the prettiest, but it works. Hello to whom it may concern, I have been a long-standing customer of your establishment for many years and today just rubbed me the completely wrong way. I ordered a sandwich with ample time to enjoy during my lunch break and expected it to arrive in 15 minutes as instructed by the representative on the phone that took my order. Well apparently that was not the case and they were backlogged with orders, which was not communicated to me. 30 minutes go bye and I phone in and speak to someone named Alex and he assures me the sandwich is on its way and just left a minute ago and will give me a credit for the inconvenience. Okay, another 20 minutes go bye and I call in again 3rd time now and speak to another person named Alex different voice, but same name and this Alex is the acting manager and I complain again rightfully so. Again I'm assured that the driver will be here soon great! At this point I'm hangry, my lunch is over and I'm just frustrated. The driver shows up finally another 5 minutes after I get off the phone with "Alex" and I ask the driver to hand me the sandwich to assure it had been made correctly because there have been multiple occasions were that isn't the case. Well the driver refuses to hand it to me and I explain what I'm trying to accomplish and the driver still doesn't budge and persists to harass me about the money owed lol. Really!! After everything. Hottest JJ staff ever! I mean seriously, everyone I saw working here was totally cute, crazy! Must be the proximity to the college? Anyways.. the cute staff makes one deliciously awesome sandwich. Me being the big eater that I am I went right for the money shot ordering the J.J. Gargantuan. Its the biggest sandwich on the menu! Loaded with genoa salami, ham, capicola, roast beef, turkey & provolone, its for the meat lover and not for the faint (or weak) of heart. Its so thick that you might be hard pressed to get this monster into your mouth. Somehow I managed though I've had years of practice eating thick sandwiches. If you also grabbed a bag of their BBQ potato chips you can add a sweet, smokey crunch to every bite of your monster sammie. Plus the lady working the counter was like "odd two people ordered tuna today." They both cost about the same. Ok first off lets go by how fast food came out. Jimmy johns wins. those dudes pump those things out like nobody's business. I pay and boom sandwich in hand. Firehouse I had to wait a bit longer but still didn't take too long. Taste is a toss up. I preferred the actual tuna in the jimmy johns. It had more crunch from the veggies. Now firehouses one held up better because the bread is softer. I feel like my teeth are not sharp enough to bite thou jimmy johns bread sometimes. And when my teeth finally get thou delicious bread, it decides to leak white fluid that will smell and look like all sorts of body fluid. (You take ur pick.... They all dry white....) Ok, without disclosing my "mature" age, safe to say I have been eating cheeseburgers and sub sandwiches for over 40 years. YIKES! I had seen some of Jimmy John's signage on buses...A little over the top but innovative. Yesterday the work crew was unsuspectingly hoodwinked into attending a motivation seminar at the Thomas & Mack that was a mix of religious evangelism, tin salesman and how many sheep can you fit in one room. At around 11:30am I realized that I was not buying Jesus half-off so let the boss know I was going to take a long lunch. Since this was at the Thomas&Mack and I quickly realized that after the event collected our precious $10 for parking, those attendants were long gone by 11am and I better leave my car parked and go for a walk. I texted the g/f for lunch ideas and she informed me there was a nearby Metro Pizza...YAY! She always eats there so I wanted to give it a shot. I walked to the intersection of Maryland Parkway and Trop and looked towards Smart and Final but did not recognize or see Metro. So, I asked a hip-looking college girl for directions thinking they know all the good eateries. She pulled out her ear-buds and quickly remarked that Metro was closed up. What? Turns out they weren't but my hunger precipitated a quick Plan B. As I started to stroll north on Maryland Parkway, I noticed this JJ's tucked into a dive strip mall 200 yards from actual Parkway next to a ethnic grocery. Seemed like a strange location for such a well-branded sub shop. Nice layout when you walk with a large menu. Everyone is friendly and they greet you. I was not sure what the difference was between their "sub" or their "club" with a $1 price difference. Turns out they are all subs but the "clubs" have more meat, etc. I got some sort of ham sub on a white roll with salt/vinegar chips and drink for $8 and some change. They have an upstairs seating area for about 20 people which is nice. If I have eaten a gillion subs, with this economy it seems everyone is trying to get sneaky. One way is to sell you their branded chips with about 8 chips in the bag. JJ's chip bag was a real bag of chips. Would I consider this a "gourmet" sandwich? NO. Was it good? Yes. I also respect their location. Why pay premium rent to be right on Maryland Parkway. SInce this is the UNLV 'hood, the percentage of pedestrians and cars might actually be 50/50. Went in today between classes for a quick meal with some good nutrients- opted for the Beach Club on 9 Grain Wheat Bread: Turkey breast, provolone cheese, avocado spread, sliced cucumber, lettuce, tomato, mayo (I got no mayo, added dijon mustard and some light italian dressing). BOMB. I had to scarf it down because I had to go to class so was a bit disappointed I wasn't able to fully enjoy it, but it was delicious. This is the 6th time I have ordered at the location and each time I order a sandwich they always get it wrong when I asked to have certain things in it. I never usually check until I get home because I expect them to get it right the first time since they did hear what I asked for as they repeated it back to me. The employees can't seem to get there orders right. All other locations I've been to have not made an error on my order. Gave this location to many chances to get a simple order right. Not really sure what happened here. I have ordered from other Jimmy John's location with no problem at all, and have ordered from this one with no issues at least once that I can remember. Today was just a mess. Ordered around noon for delivery between 2:15 and 2:30. At 2:20 I saw that my order was not out for delivery yet. No big deal, they are usually very fast, but I called just to make sure that it was on its way. I was told that the driver had a couple of deliveries just before mine but that it would be to me soon. Awesome, no problem. 2:45 rolls around, no food. Since my lunch is about to be over I call again. The person who answered the phone was the same person as before and seemed surprised that I had not received my food yet. They were very apologetic and offered to credit my account. I do understand that things happen and was appreciative of that offer. I check the app a few minutes later and it has updated that my order is out for delivery...as of 2:43, which was right when I called the second time. Convenient. My order FINALLY arrives at 3:18, a full hour past the start of the delivery window. The delivery driver was apologetic and said that they had a rush and got swamped, but both calls I made to the store gave me no indication that there was any reason my order should have taken that long. Love the food and the staff was kind and apologetic through out my wait, but that doesn't change the fact that there was a huge disconnect and failure to communicate.
