Ordered the original #4 Turkey Tom, cost me $9. Haven't had JJs in years... Have they always been this skinny? 1 layer of turkey lol

This sandwich shop is located right across from UNLV, on Maryland Parkway. Little bit hidden at the back of the shopping center. When you enter the restaurant, the main floor looks just like any other Jimmy John's, but when you go further inside, you'll find a staircase leading upstairs to more seating options. I like this layout! Service is seriously super fast! By the time you pay, the sandwich is already prepared. I like that because lunchtime I usually don't have too much time for waiting. I always order the Italian Nightclub sandwich. It's always delicious. It's my favorite!

Jimmy John's is a gourmet sandwich shop. There are a variety of locations in the Las Vegas area. This Jimmy John's is located directly across from UNLV on Maryland Parkway. I placed a carry out order on Wednesday evening online, for a pick-up on Thursday afternoon for a event. The catering order consisted of 14 box orders which includes a 8'' sandwich, cookie, chips, and a pickle. There were a variety of different sandwiches ordered - [4] Turkey and Cheese [4] Ham and Cheese [2] Roast Beef and Cheese [2] Veggies [2] Hunter's Club The bread was made fresh to order. All of the boxes were assembled perfectly. The order was ready about 20 minutes ahead of pick-up since I had arrived early at this Jimmy John's location. The team members were quite helpful getting the cater order assembled and provided a large box to carry the order in. I'd stop by this location again for another catering event.

The #7 Sub was huge at 8"? Super well made

By the look of their reviews so far, their very underrated! I ordered very close to Closing time, the #7. Which is their Eastcoast Spicy meats. (Something like that?) It's got thinly sliced Genoa Salami, and double meat Spicy hot Cappicola, and provolone of course? Plus all the other regular suspects, thinly sliced lettuce, tomato & onions..plus sweet cherry pepper slices on an 8" Sub roll. It was pretty impressive. Had not been to Jimmy John's in years & years? And this sandwich is new, and was not available back then. It's pretty well rounded for you Italian Submarine lovers I was craving it for days looking around for a Capriotti's nearby. And ended up opting for this place? I don't regret it at all, as I used to order their Gargantuan that had everything with extra meats included! But this one really surprised me in a good way The girl at the front counter was gracious & quick and the guy that built the Sub was Super. Loved it all in all.. I used to eat at this place all the time cos I worked nearby. But they are now better than before. Give them a try, they're so good. I can even compare them to Jersey Mike's, which is a real stretch!!

    # 5 Italian Sub

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. This location is closet to my work. I ordered a #5 on French Bread. It is the Italian and I had everything on it. They handed me my sandwich right away-I had just ordered it--I haven't ever had that fast of a turnaround on a sandwich before! I made it a meal with barbecue baked chips and sweet tea. It was very good and filling. Everything was fresh from the deli meats to the veggies and fresh baked French bread. I recommend this location. The employees are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and in a good location. I enjoyed my sandwich and I will return in the future.

Wow when they say they make their sandwich fresh, from house made baked bread to freshly slice deli, cheese, and toppings, it's a win-win. I went for The Veggie ($5.69) which has layers of provolone cheese, real avocado spread, sliced cucumber, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, mayo, and I requested to add hot peppers. The hot peppers definitely gives The Veggie sandwich a nice spicy kick. And I like the texture of their bread, it makes the sandwich very satisfying. You can purchase a day old bread for 50 cents and it is a great bargain deal. If you want a tasty dessert, they have cookies sourced from a local vendor in Las Vegas. They have Raisin Oatmeal ($1.75) and Triple Chocolate Chunk ($1.75). I was told to heat in the microwave because it taste better when the cookie is warm. Both cookies taste good. But if I were to choose between the two cookies, I would go for the Triple Chocolate Chunk simply because it's made with good quality Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips. The service is fast and I like how the ingredients are fresh. It wasn't busy when I came so I had a chance to learn a little history about Jimmy John's. The owner began work at a hot dog stand, and later on he ventured toward building a small business making a simple gourmet sandwich and delivering it fresh. What's impressive is that Jimmy John is always smiling, I was able to see a jolly and cheerful photo of him. This place is a very chill and relaxing environment with good music in the background. They have a large sandwich menu board and I love the positive quotes that are featured on the wall. Also if you're looking for additional seating, they do have a second floor where you can enjoy your meal.

    Lunchtime
    Ernie C.

I had a very good lunch here today. The #14 bootlegger with peppers and sauce is what I order and it's crazy quick (deliberately trying not to use their slogan). If I need to grab something quick for lunch, this is the place. As soon as you're done ordering the sandwich is already done and waiting at the other end of the counter! I like the flavor of the roast beef because it's seasoned just right for my taste. The restaurant and restrooms are usually clean and the service is quick. If you order a combo your going to need at least $11. There is a second story loft for additional seating as well.

I thought that the value of the meal was phenomenal! I really enjoyed my chicken katsu sandwich. It was flavorful and crispy and the bread was slightly toasted. The salad was very yummy, I love a good sesame dressing. The sandwich was a smaller portion, which was perfect for a light snack. And the apps were alright, there were only a few pieces, but the portion makes sense for the pricing. The karaage was very juicy and came with a side of dipping sauce. I wish there was also a lemon wedge to add a bit of acid. We also got the happy hour deal ($7.50) and got a matcha latte and a creme brulee. The matcha was solid, maybe a bit grainy, but still yummy. The creme brulee was surprisingly very sweet and came to the table first. The service was quick and friendly. You pay at the front of the counter vs. a check. So this is more of a quick and casual spot. The interior is very inviting but could be a bit cleaner. Our table needed a wipe down for sure but nothing too crazy. Despite a few minor improvements, I thought that the food was comforting, the vibe was good, and the service and value was great. I will for sure be back to try out more items! I'm especially interested in some breakfast items.

Shout out to chef for the elite ball knowledge on Akira and Neon Genesis Evangelion! But more importantly, the food here is great! We ordered the wings, and pepperoni pizzas by the slice! Price point I think it's pretty solid and is available until closing (or until they sell out)! Wings were served out quickly, cooked well and juicy! We got the hot wings (normally our order at any spot because me and gf love the buffalo sauce wings). After all was said and done (and eaten), I'd say serving-wise it was good enough for us both for 2 slices of pizza, 8 wings and a soda! Speaking of which, could be hit or miss for y'all but, we did love the Coffee soda! Probably the only shop in vegas I know of (so far) that has this. Gonna try the cream soda next! I have been here several times before for my charcuterie meats and cheeses (not sure why I didn't…read morereview) but my husband and I went there last week while waiting for my kids to finish an activity at UNLV. Everything started out great. They have a kiosk to order when you first enter and we wanted to share a meatball sandwich. The gentleman making the pizza let us know they'd had some issues with orders going through and to check with the person at the cash register to make sure everything processed properly. He looked and said it was good. At that point my husband had seen the sicilian pizza and wanted to see if it was anything similar to his Nana's and asked to add it. The man at the cash register said it would need to be a separate order- no problem- so we paid. We were enjoying the pizza slice while waiting for the sandwich that never came. The guy who was making the pizzas noticed we were still waiting and asked what we had ordered. They said the payment never processed. My husband, rightfully upset at this point, asked what the point was of confirming the order had gone through if they guy wasn't actually confirming it? I finally said I would just pay for the two bottles of water we'd had and go on with our day. The rep offered to still do the sandwich but at this point we had to go get the kids and didn't have time to wait again and then eat. He told the pizza making gentleman (who in my opinion did nothing wrong and was amazing) that this was why he needed to stop telling people and just keep his mouth shut. Ultimately, he was in the wrong. When my husband came to the register to confirm the kiosk order had gone through he should have ACTUALLY confirmed it. The pizza was good, but we won't be back... this is not how you handle customer service situations.

The problem is that there were no signs, ropes, chains, or any other barriers indicating that customers weren't supposed to enter. Since it was our first time there, we had no way of knowing. Instead of calmly explaining the mistake, a dark-haired, female employee immediately became confrontational. My mom tried to apologize and explain that we didn't realize it was a restricted area, but the employee continued berating her, repeatedly telling her to get out and physically ushering her toward the exit. The whole interaction was completely unnecessary and embarrassing. This situation could have been avoided with something as simple as a sign or a chain blocking off the area. Even without those, a polite "I'm sorry, this area is for employees only" would have been more than enough. Everyone makes honest mistakes, especially first-time customers. The lack of professionalism and courtesy we experienced was disappointing, and because of it, we won't be returning.
