    Italian Sandwich
    Rose L.

Wow!! I've had quite a few Italian sandwiches in my life, but the one from District Deli is hands down the most delicious I've ever had. My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick, simple lunch while visiting Vegas and stumbled upon this gem. The outdoor seating was perfect since we had our dog with us. We both ordered a coffee (which was also very good), and since he loves Italian sandwiches as much as I do, we decided to try theirs. We both agreed it was the best Italian sandwich we've ever had, even better than the many we've tried back in LA. To top it off, the gentleman who brought our food out also brought a cup of water for our dog without us even asking! Super thoughtful service. This place is an absolute must-visit, and we'll definitely be back whenever we're in town again. Highly recommend!

This is a very small spot in the main drag in the arts district. It is a combo deli and coffee so they do sell some foods and have some pastries. I just had my usual latte and it was great. They use Dark Moon beans so I was optimistic going in. The milk was textured well if only slightly on the hot side for a latte. The barista could have created some standard latte art but they instead choose to use a drawing method to create a cute bear. The drink was smooth and classic just as if you had it at Dark Moon (Henderson). Overall, this is a small place that you are probably not hanging at to chill (no Wi-Fi). But, if you want a good latte and perhaps some food, this is a great choice. There are plenty of great places for coffee in the Arts District, so this fits in quite nicely.

Adorable little coffee shop at the arts district on Main Street. Just minutes from the strip is a vibrant and fun area filled with shops, restaurants and coffee shops and this coffee shop is one of them. Stopped here first for some coffee and a bagel. The place is tiny, but it has a little room for seating inside and a lovely front patio seating. The staff were super friendly and sweet. The coffee robust and beautifully presented. Good bagel too. Definitely recommend!

The District Deli & Coffee is a really good sandwich and coffee shop located in the downtown area. Besides sandwiches some of the things they offer are breakfast, salads, sides, pastries, smoothies, teas and more. This is a casual order and pay at the counter type of place. They have three small tables inside and a few tables on the patio. It's nice that they have complimentary water on the side of the counter that you can help yourself to. The sandwiches are very good here. I would recommend to go with a sandwich. My husband tried a mortadella specialty sandwich with house made chips. This was a very large sandwich on Monzu Italian Oven Focaccia bread. It was packed with good quality Deli Meat and cheese and also had a delicious spread of eggplant caponata. I thought that the house made potato chips were very good. To me they had a nice texture and were seasoned nice and seemed free of oil. The panzanella salad should really be a soaked bread salad. Here it is a salad with the crispest croutons ever that don't get soft and a fork can't penetrate. The salad is ok it's just not what a traditional panzanella is really suppose to be. I'll get a sandwich next time. The people working there were all very nice and efficient. District Deli and Coffee is a really great Sandwich shop in the downtown area.

This location was super easy to find with plenty surrounding parking. There was indoor and outdoor seating. Three tables inside and about four outside. The outside seating had umbrellas for when it gets hot outside. The sandwich was ready in about 7-8 minutes and was delicious. The hoagie had sesame seeds on it and was the perfect bite size. Sometimes hoagie bread can be too hard or crunchy- this wasn't at all. They offered free water for dine in guests which was appreciated. The Italian sandwich was perfect. I immediately devoured it and already know what I want to try when I come back. 10/10

I was downtown in the arts district of Las Vegas and I wanted to try a new spot so I decided on this cool little coffee shop. Upon walking in, there are a few seats where you can sit outside, but parking is absolutely horrific. It's located on the corner of Main Street and Utah and traffic is definitely consistent. You're definitely greeted as soon as you walk in, so I can't complain about the service. As far as the coffee goes, I am a coffee drinker. I love my espresso and I was hoping to get that punch of espresso yet sadly, I was disappointed. Onto the breakfast sandwich, it was OK at best. In my opinion, the aïoli is delicious just overpowered the sandwich and I'm not sure arugula belongs on a breakfast sandwich unless you have something like candied bacon to balance it out. Hey just my personal opinion! Last time I checked an iced latte was made with shots of espresso! And if your coffee only tastes like milk and flavoring that my friend is an issue! Also your cashier told me that it was arugula on the sandwich because I had never been to the shop before, and I asked what came on the sandwich, so if there was a miscommunication that is not on me. You're coming off a little condescending by telling me what to order! But I can do one better by not coming back to your establishment!!!!

Great little place to relax for a morning coffee and sandwich. Had the ham egg and cheese on everything bagel and it was great! Nice location and great vibe with super friendly service. Will definitely return!

I stopped by District Deli and Coffee first thing in the morning and was their first customer of the day. I ordered the Steak, Egg, and Cheese Bagel along with a Chocolate Caramel Latte-both were delicious! Everything tasted great, and I'll definitely be coming back.

Great coffee! This spot is such a cute little gem. I visited on a Sunday morning and it was quite busy. This spot has a few seating options available, indoor and outdoor. The staff and barista were very cool and super helpful with helping you choose items. I got an almond milk latte and it was really good. The taste of the espresso was top notch, it really enhanced the flavor of the coffee taste. Not too bitter or floraly which I love. I paid about $7 for it since non-dairy alternatives are an extra $1. (I feel this is common everywhere) Parking could be an issue so expect to walk over. Overall, i would totally go back for food next time!

This local coffee shop is small with limited seating inside , they do however have seating outside with heaters . Service was very good and she was very friendly . The prices are very reasonable and the food portions are good. My favorite was the brown sugar latte. It tasted like a snickerdoodle cookie .

I've been here twice in one week because it's that good. Quality ingredients with the bread and meat, great presentation and the service was quick. No complaints here! The owner is super friendly too so that's nice, you can tell he cares about his shop.

Wasn't a fan of the bread and it was kinda bland. Hadn't tried this place for years because of the motherland can't get it right, I wasn't going to mess with the US version. I was wrong. The sandwich was 5/5. I was thinking about this sandwich for days after. What makes them different is the bread. It's toasted, a bit thinner, while being fluffy on the inside, has that crunch on the outside. And it was phenomenal. Met a family of four who is a regular, that recommended the one with pistachio cream inside. I decided to try something else instead and it was amazing. I can't remember which one it was but it had spicy sauce with spicy salami inside. I'll def be going back to give a shot on the pistachio cream that the family shared they are addicted to.

I went in on a Monday around 11am, and to my surprise there was only one other group (of 3) ahead of me. The employee immediately helped us and asked which sandwiches we wanted. I ordered the Schiacciata del Boss, and the Summer. Each sandwich was $21. Additionally I purchased a Sparkling Water for $3. The employee began making my sandwiches, and I did have a hard time understanding what he said to me because he was mumbling, but I didn't get yelled at so I guess I followed his directions accurately. I will say, It was a bit of sticker shock to realize that I paid $48.77 for two sandwiches and a sparkling water. When we opened the sandwiches, they were actually a lot wider than I had anticipated. I should have done better research because I did not expect the sandwiches to be so flat. I expected them to have a little bit more veggies of some sort in them. The prosciutto also felt very minimal and thin. The bread itself was fantastic. You could tell it was fresh and soft. Additionally the truffle spread was prominent in all the best ways. I did have a problem with my sandwich though.. as I was eating my half of the sandwich, I looked down and there was a hair wrapped around some of the meat and coming out of my sandwich. I tried to tell myself it was my hair, because it was black, but my hair is long and that day it was curly. This hair was short and black and wrapped around the meat going further into the sandwich. Unfortunately, my first reaction was to pick it out and throw the hair on the ground, so I did not get a photo of it. Because I did not have proof, I didn't feel it was appropriate to go back in and address it. The customer service was very nice, so it's my best guess that they would have handled it appropriately if it was brought to their attention. Overall (excluding the hair incident), I enjoyed the bread, but I did not feel as though the quality of the sandwich met the price point of what I was charged. If it had more meat and veggies, then I would have been all for it, but $21 for really good bread, is something I will pass on.

It was lighter than I expected it to be, and the container of ranch tasted homemade. I grabbed a fountain soda from the convenience store and refilled it before I left. Crushed ice! One of the things that we really appreciate is the dill pickle spear that we get with each of our sandwich orders. Having that pickle on the side really makes the order feel complete. It's like having a burger and fries or chips and a sandwich. At the deli, you expect the pickle with your sandwich. This was not the case the last time that we ordered food from here. We stopped in on Mother's Day. We ordered our sandwiches. Everything seemed fine. Our sandwich containers got pushed along the line and when they were ready, they called our name. Simple right? No. Not exactly. The cashiers were quick to take our money and we were just as quick to bring our sandwich back, upset and disgruntled. We felt gypped. None of us got pickles. We didn't know why. The hubby was upset! He went to the cashier to complain. He told them that he would like to be refunded his tip, simply for the fact that they never mentioned the fact that there were no pickles available today. He was not asking for a refund on his sandwich. He just thought that they could've pasted a bit better discretion and making sure that all of the customers there knew that there were no available for Sandwiches today. I can't even tell you how upset he was. Like I said, I know it seems like a silly thing, but it's like missing the fries to your burger or the chips to your sandwich. The whole entire sandwich felt incomplete!!! So like I said, a refund for the tip was requested. Instead, the cashier ended up refunding the entire cost of one of the sandwiches. We tried to compromise with the deli, asking that maybe we buy a side of potato salad, but instead because of the problem with the pickle being unavailable, maybe they only charge half of the regular price of that sign. We're trying to upsell ourselves. Not Conley. The cashier didn't say anything. She just had a crunching. She didn't make eye contact. She never said sorry. She just went ahead to refund the cost of no one and that wasn't. Now, granted that was still a good amount, but the whole ordeal really so simple to dissolve. We were really disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm in the cashier trust us. We were also even more upset with the fact that the deli wouldn't let people know ahead of their ordering that there were no pickles. The hubby suggested that maybe they put out a sign saying that there were no pickles available today. One of the employees said, "oh no, we can't do that!!" I have a feeling they were worrying about the pickle situation and announcing it because then people would turn away from the restaurant. But, I understand that. For some people, a pickle is serious business. I know it seems crazy but at the same time. I get it. There's plenty of ample seating in and outside of the deli. It's always fun to sit there with people watch. Sometimes the line at the deli is exceedingly long, but don't be discouraged. Unless of course they're out of pickles, the line moves pretty quickly. Hopefully the next time that we pay this deli a visit, the pickle situation will have been resolved.
