I've only been here once so I can only comment on this 1 experience. If I go again I will update this. I got a Sweet Thai Chili pulled pork sub. I didn't like it at all. It was insanely sweet. I was expecting sweet, but not like this. I choked down half the sub and couldn't eat the other half. I think the guy put way too much sauce on it or something. My sub was soggy from the sauce. The guy I was with took a bite of mine and retched. I also tried a cherry limeade which I didn't like either. I was expecting something like from Sonic's but instead it tastes like cherry syrup with no hint of lime at all. It tasted exactly like cherry Koolaid and it wasn't carbonated. I would never get it again. The person I was with got a Steak & Cheese sub which he said was good but had very little cheese, they put like 1 slice on it. You'd think with a sub that was primarily steak and CHEESE it would have more cheese. We waited 10 minutes for our subs in an empty restaurant and somehow when they finally gave them to us they were cold *shrugs*. Next time I go I'm going to pick a different less sweet sub because even though this experience was bad for me, it still beats Subway. The employees are rude and never tell you when they are out of something until you have already waited an hour for your food and paid for it..... very messy inside not clean at all , and the employees are not evening wearing their face masks correctly. What is the point of wearing a mask if you are not covering your mouth or nose when making the food for other people? Not to mention they do not even follow the instructions, like why ask what I want on my sandwich if you cant follow it anyways or even tell me ahead of time when your out of white bread? Good food. Decent service, depending on who's at the cash register. Today was a complete dissatisfaction, however. I go and order my usual (large Smokehouse sub), and everything seems fine. They told me it would be a 15min wait, at 8:50pm... sure. I didn't mind the wait. As I was waiting I hear "Oh you said large? I thought medium on the smokehouse", and I knew it was my order. Quick review - Pros: good food, it's convenient to order online, when you order online, they're open on Sunday when Chick-fil-A is not. Cons: customer service is nonexistent, bathrooms are not the cleanest, if you come in to order you're likely going to wait awhile, prices are quite a bit higher than Subway. This is my first time here and probably my last. I'm not impressed. First, the guy taking our order was so tired he had to lean on the counter while he took our order. I felt we were keeping him awake. Second, no Dr Pepper. Third,too much oil on the subs. My bread was soggy and there was a pool of oil in the bottom of the basket. And fourth, staff members had their pants hanging down so you could see their underwear. There is s time and place for everything, when I'm eating I don't want to see a guy walking around with his butt hanging out. It's unsanitary and makes me wonder what is happening in the back area that I can't see. I've been to this location a couple of times. While I've noticed I never see the same people twice the staff is always friendly. The counters are clean & so are the tables! (BIG plus!) I placed my order online- Igor a notification that it would take 5-10 mins; I wait 18 for good measure. Come to retrieve my paid for online order and they tell me that they don't have meatballs. Something the could have done via the platform I placed order from. I asked for refund on that particular item. The guy who said he is the manager, did not know how to do that. He went and asked a knot her employee who did not know either. It seems that they work with delivery platforms but do not know how to work with them. All this, and not a single item on my order was started. I am not waiting for my $50 receipt to be done. This is insane. The amount of people in the restaurant is a roto al of 3 sets of customers (6) and two got their food before me, mind you I was here to pick up an order I placed 35 mins ago. Aside from my telling them that next time they should find a way to tell customer they don't have an item (they are down to the bare, they told another customer they did not have several cold cuts) they basically told me they weren't at fault. Incredible that three people got here after me and they got their meal first. I definitely won't be back. They handed me the subs forgetting the entire or rest of order. Then when I reminded them, I was told to get them myself. Chips and drink. Good thing I wasn't an Uber driver. I had ordered the bottle version of Coke Zero, only to be told it didn't exist and handed me a cup. They had no interest in making sure I had my complete order. You would think that they would try to handle an irate customer. The Assistant Manager, who identified himself as the manager to the lady after me, has no idea what meats go on the subs and what food items they do or do not have. Except this last time I actually had to pay more money for something I didn't get (cheese on my blt). I love firehouse subs! It is my favorite fast food place ever. They blow Subways out of the water. When I was going to school in Orlando it was my daily diet. I live in Miami now so its a little far away, but I still make the journey as often as I humanly can. They even give you a free Sub on your Birthday! Who does that...they do! I have tried all the subs but my all time favorites are Meatball and the Italian. The parking lot always has spaces available and its in the same lot as a Chick Fil A, (also treasure not easily found in Miami) so you can go to both restaurants if you are with someone who doesn't like subs. read more

This is the SLOWWWWWWWWWWWEST service i have ever received in my life. I am VERY new to Florida and my husband and i stopped into this local joint to pick up a few subs. We went on a week day a little after 1:30 pm so it was kind of busy with the lunch rush. I was expecting a wait but not damn near close to 45 minutes for a couple sandwiches!! The second time we had gone was months later.. we had stopped in on a week day and it was about 7:30 pm and there was only 2 other people in the establishment. 1 was eating and the other was waiting on a order.. he seemed peeved as well like he had been sitting there just a little too long. After getting our drinks and grabbing a seat.. catching up on facebook... half a drink later im wondering where our food is??? another couple walks in.. orders sits down.. they ordered a SINGLE meatball sandwich and received it prior to receiving our meal.... OUR MEAL CONTAINED a meatball sandwich... i know exactly what happened... My husband got a little impatient and kindly asked when the food would be ready... and person behind the counter said just a couple minutes.. I ate here last week. Disappointed at the way the food taste. My first time ever eating a pastrami sub was at the Firehouse in Gainesville, Fl off Archer road. This one could not attempt to compare. I got a cold meat melted cheese and warn bread. Is that even possible? Maybe because I had a large with extra meat. Well whatever the case may be it was not all bad because I ate the whole thing. I was definitely impressed with this Firehouse Subs. First of all, the people who took care of my order were... smiling! This took me completely off guard because in Miami, particularly the Miami Lakes/Hialeah area, quality customer service is somewhat of a foreign concept. I ordered the Momma's Homemade Chicken Salad as it was late and I was just looking for something light. Much to my surprise, this salad was massive. I'm not sure whether it was because I was not that hungry or because the salad was actually that large, but I couldn't even eat half of it despite it being super delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the lettuce was crisp and the dressing was a great touch. However, I would recommend to whomever likes to drench their salad in dressing to request extra as they are given to you in two thimble sized to-go cups.
