Not busy at all; in fact I was the only customer. With 4 workers here I feel someone could have cleaned the machine. Ordered an Italian sub. Bread seemed a bit undercooked. I've been craving a Meatball Sub,case it's been about 4 years since I've had one. So, using K&G delivery I had them deliver me a large one. Despite their use of sliced Provolone, rather than shredded Mozzarella, it's one of the best Meatball subs that I've ever had. And, having a beer with it, made it even better. LoL Normally, I get a small one for lunch. But, being dinnertime, a large one was needed. ;-) The pickle was a bit floppy. But, still pretty good. read more

Tables need a wipe down. Floor's pretty clean, bathroom ok (the automatic paper towel dispenser screams at you), food is delicious, touchscreen fountain machine is cool, service is fairly quick, cashier professional, basket trays need cleaning. This Firehouse Subs restaurant has the best employees! They are friendly & really care that you are happy with your food. I'm eating keto, so no bread for me! My husband was craving a sub sandwich, & I tagged along hoping to find a salad on the menu that would make me happy. I am a very picky eater, so I usually end up with a bowl of lettuce with cheese & dressing. None of the salads on their menu appealed to me, so I asked if they would turn their Brisket Sub into a salad for me. BAM! It was fabulous!! Kelvin took great care to give me exactly what I wanted. Ok, I'm putting 3 stars because the food was great, BUT that gm???? I think her name is Christa, she works at the firehouse in Milledgeville and she is HORRIBLE! She treats her employees with disrespect, and she talks about how fucked up they are to her customers. She tells her customers about her employees mental illness and and stupid they are. She also complains about how she never has an off day and how she always pull double when ever time I come in there on night shifts or Sundays, she's never there. I know people who used to work at firehouse and they literally quit because of HER, she can never keep any employee because of the way she treats them. Me and my friends went and the general manager, she's a woman, older, had a green shirt, yelled at my friend saying he stole chips when he paid for three sandwiches with combos and didn't eat any chips, he grabbed them before leaving and she came outside and accused him of stealing them. one of the workers called my friends name and said "you poor child your parents really gave you that name?" like what gave him the confidence to say that? read more

This was my first trip to this location. I'm giving this a two star review only because of the wait time and the store was not busy. The food was DELISH though I was waiting 20 mins. There were three people "working" and yes I am using the term loosely. The girl took my order and was very pleasant. Then she disappeared off to the back, guessing she took her 10/15 min break. There were originally two guys making sandwiches and then there was only ome. He had a rather large order he was preparing and also two more orders plus mine. Neitjer of the two other workers assisted. I don't mind waiting IF it's because you are either short staffed or super busy. This was not the case here. There was not a line waiting to order. There were some big orders ahead of me and I just was disappointed that the one sandwiche crafter could not get help from his coworkers. read more

Worst experience ever! Rude staff, very complicated to place order and after placed went into back with manager and continued talking instead of working on order. Asked if they were going to prepare order and she looked at me like I was bothering them. Asked for manager and he was one of the group talking. Requested refund and left. Have only eaten there twice. The sub route is not my favorite. So far it is my favorite of the current choices in Milledgeville. It narrowly beats out the down town Quiznos. The service and ambiance is great, not to mention the subs. Hope to return soon. read more

I am highly disappointed on how long it takes to make subs. I understand the subs may take a little longer than it does at subway but, I am not willing to wait thirty minutes. I think more than one person needs to be behind the wall making subs. The wait shouldn't exist. read more

Went to the Firehouse Subs in Milledgeville, Ga and it was horrible. I didn't get what I ordered and only realized it when I got home. I ordered an Italian sub and got a roast beef sandwich with %95 percent lettuce and tomatoes the other %5 meat...IT WASNT EVEN THE RIGHT MEAT! The guy making the sandwich acted rude when he gave me the order. Not only all of that.. the guy didn't even cut it right. I paid a lot of that sandwich and I expected to get what I ordered but I just got a hot mess and an attitude. NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more

This place has always been welcoming and the food is always what I expect. The environment is casual and relaxed and I love it there :-D
