Walk-In ToGo Order Service: the young ladies taking orders and preparing the subs seem to all be very good at multitasking. They were attentive, helpful, and happy spirited. Their comments expressed a sense of sincere care for their customers. Environment: they have some great decor and artwork that compliments their mission. The drink station was well stocked and clean. The seating area was also very clean, but their trash area could use more sanitary measures. They have a big TV for waiting or entertainment. Food: we ordered the Hook & Ladder and the Firehouse Hero--both of the subs were delicious and refreshing. They do a great job at stuffing the subs without overflowing. COVID-19 Procedures: they had a sign on the front doors stating their occupancy limit, signs on the floor for 6-feet distancing, and all of the employees were wearing masks.

5 stars to this Firehouse for the fantastic service and always friendly employees. They go out of their way to make the customer happy. The last time I went just to use a free sub coupon, so I didn't pay for anything, yet the employee making the sub went out of his way to ask my boyfriend and I if we'd like it cut and half and plated separately since we were sharing, and if we'd like an extra pickle. My favorite item right now is the Cajun chicken sub. It has a slight spicy kick, cherry peppers, just the right amount of shredded lettuce, and the chicken tastes fresh. It doesn't feel like the chicken was packed in plastic and microwaved right before I ate it, as it feels at other sub shops (even if it was). And, you can get it for under $6.50 with tax. If you work nearby, it's a great place to stop in and grab a quick lunch. Oh, and if you've never been to a firehouse subs, don't miss the awesome hot sauce bar!

My first time at fire house subs! I had a free medium sub from T-Mobile. I really enjoyed my tuna sub. Nice to learn about the history of firehouse subs and that it was founded by firemen! ‍

From the moment we walked in, the staff at the front entrance was incredibly welcoming and even took the time to show us around the market. The ambience feels like a neighborhood Italian shop, with shelves lined with imported products from Italy that make it fun to browse while you wait. It's a small, casual space that feels authentic rather than overly polished. We ordered the Italian sub with sun-dried tomatoes instead of the standard toppings, along with the chicken cutlet sandwich with vodka sauce. Both sandwiches had excellent flavor and tasted fresh. The sun-dried tomatoes were a great addition to the Italian, although I do think it could have used a little more meat. Considering the price, I expected it to be a bit more generously filled. The chicken cutlet sandwich was delicious overall, but the cutlet itself was a little dry. I asked for extra sauce, and initially the employee seemed reluctant and tried to charge me for it. After I showed him how dry the sandwich was, he gave me the sauce, which made a huge difference and brought the sandwich together. That interaction was really my only service-related critique. Overall, the quality of the ingredients is excellent, the sandwiches are satisfying, and the market has a unique charm you don't find at most sandwich shops. While it's definitely on the pricier side, the authentic atmosphere and quality make it a place I'd happily come back to. I'd love to work my way through more of the menu on future visits.

After a 10 mile hike at Orlando Wetlands, I was ready to eat. I'd read about Stasio's on some…read more"best sandwich" lists and decided it was time to try it out. I will be going there after every Saturday hike forever more. The lists did not lie. Stasio's delivered the best sandwiches I have had in Florida. Walking in, I must have looked confused because I heard a knowing voice ask if it was my first time in. I admitted that it was and a delightful employee walked over to me to show me around. Stasio's has a deli counter, a coffee counter, and several shelves with Italian foods. I quickly learned that sandwiches are ordered at the deli and brought out to the waiting area when ready. Coffee is ordered at a cash register and the coffee is poured or prepared after purchase. Any prepared foods, together with sandwiches and fresh bread, are paid for at one of two registers. Despite the crowd -- and it was crazy busy -- everything was remarkably efficient and the staff showed no sign of stress. I ordered an Egg and Pepper sandwich and a Caprese Sandwich. Bread is made onsite and it was as fresh and delicious. (I ordered a loaf of Semolina/Italian bread and brought it home, where it was eaten within a few hours. At $4.99 for a loaf, it is an amazing value and a great treat!). Both the egg and pepper and the Caprese were prepared simply and to perfection. Fresh ingredients pack a lot of flavor and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Amazingly, I don't think Stasio's adds any fats to their sandwiches -- The egg in the egg and pepper, and the mozzarella in the Caprese do all the work. There are seats at a bar along the front window and a few tables outside, but I chose to eat in my car. At a peak time (like Noon on a Saturday), there was not a lot of available seating but it did seem that chairs opened up fairly quickly. After a 10 mile hike, I just did not think it was fair to anyone who might be seated next to me to have to sit next to me! No photos but others have shared enough that you can picture the experience!

The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. We're honestly so excited to have discovered a great New York-style deli less than 10 minutes from our house. Safe to say we'll definitely be back soon to work our way through the rest of the menu. Pro tip: Don't skip the deli salads--grab one or two to share with your sandwich.

Yeah yeah. However, there's still no excuse for rude service. I walk in and go straight to the deli. If you know this place: You walk in, turn right and there is an aisle with coolers on either side. This leads to the back deli. It is cramped, but not terrible. A couple was in front of me. I could tell by the demeanor of the gentleman that they had been there a while already and the woman was asking multiple questions of the staff. No big deal. A little annoying, but some people are just talkative. This goes on, an estimate of say five minutes. Five minutes of a woman asking questions of the male staff member as the young woman staff member chimed in with information or an answer. At no point during this time did either of them acknowledge that someone was waiting or anything. No eye contact. Nothing. Finally the couple is done. The young woman behind the counter asks what I want. I order. In the middle of her slicing one of the deli meats, another customer comes up and asks for a pound of the meat she was currently slicing. Customer service will tell you to take care of customers in the order of arrival. Not according to this place. No, she decided to skip over me and service someone else. I understand that it was probably easier that way - given you might have to clean up between meats, or whatever else. And that's fine - IF YOU COMMUNICATE with the customer. The lady ordering the meat apologized. For reasons? It wasn't her fault. I appreciate it, but unnecessary. Finally after waiting for a longer time, the young woman behind the counter apologized for the delay. There never should have been a delay. Plus the sandwich was lackluster. I try to avoid big chains. I like small businesses. But when you treat people like this; why should I return?

He told me they would make basically anything I wanted as long as they had the ingredients, and I absolutely loved that energy. First, the staff deserves credit--their energy and kindness were 10/10. The person I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The food itself was good, but I was disappointed that my order was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for only tomatoes and pickles on my burger, but it came with cheese and a sauce. Luckily, I was planning to eat just the patty, so I was able to rinse it off, but if I had intended to eat it as a regular burger, it would have completely ruined the meal as the bun was covered in the sauce. My sub was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's sauce recommendations. However, I was surprised that the homemade sauce came with a $1.10 charge for each side of sauce--that feels pretty excessive. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.

This mall does feel like a backroom, or liminal space. They are as advertised, a local Italian market, deli, and bakery. The trifecta, if you will. It's got a huge parking space area and located next to a gym. They offer a lot of Italian goods from cheese to meats to pistachio spread to snacks. The meat counter offers hot sandwiches and they even have a sandwich of the week. They have a bakery counter and to no one's surprise, many items will be sold out if you go at the end of the day. This was disappointing for me as I really wanted to try their pistachio sfogliatelle. So we got two huge sandwiches, which they cut in half for you, and some baked goods and coffee. They have a coffee counter and the lattes are good. We tried the sandwich of the week, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with caramelized onions, fig jam, and provolone. This was a 8.5/10. It was good, rich, and fatty. Not a light meal sandwich. Definitely had half of it and felt very full. We also got the Soprano, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with pesto, tomatoes, prosciutto, arugula, and fresh shaved parmesan. This was a 9/10. Lighter on the body than the other sandwich, but it was still filling and I can only have one half at a time. The sandwiches came out to about $30 for both, but that's almost four meals right there for that price. For the baked goods, we tried the Nutella sfogliatelle, pistachio creampuff, and a pistachio cannoli. A sfogliatelle is a laminated pastry that looks like a lobster tail. This was delicious and crispy and sweet. I wish I could have tried the pistachio one. This was a 8.5/10. The pistachio creampuff surprised me. This was a 8.5/10. I thought it was going to be too sweet, but it was good. Pistachio flavor could have been stronger. The pistachio cannoli was a 10/10. This was insanely good and perfect and I should have bought five of them. We tried the cookie butter latte from the cafe. This was a 9/10. The cookie butter was well mixed with the espresso and the espresso was strong and high quality. Overall, this place was a 9.5/10 and I will be back. I mean those prices and that quality moves it from the "let me try" list to the "let me be a regular" list.

Perfect. Here was…read morethe cool part; the customer service couldn't be beat. I came in, looked the menu up and down, and shortly afterwards a gentleman behind the counter eagerly took my order. Then, a few minutes later the sandwich was done to perfection and wrapped tightly. That was great customer service. Plus, they had a question and communicated to me that they had a question. This doesn't happen at all local delis. The store is clean and well stocked. There is much more of selection here of premade and/freshly made desserts, dinners, etc. Will be back for sure.
