I have been going to Firehouse subs for a long time. But lately the sandwich are getting more expensive and also smaller. Same thing for the salad and the dressing was water down. Drove out of my way to get dinner here on a business trip. I'm allergic to gluten and there aren't many places I can eat. Placed my order through the app and got to the store. Waited a few min then they called my name. "Sorry....we are out of gluten free bread". These places suck royally when they can't maintain supply of BASIC ITEMS. if you ran out of regular bread, yall would be screwed. But you don't give a rats a$$ when you run out of GF bread. Just the best hot subs around, and I mean it. This location never fails, and the staff is super nice. The main issue is the parking is tight but that's not their fault. The subs are always fresh and tasty while still remaining fairly priced. The atmosphere inside is nice and you can sit down and enjoy your food. I would go to subway before I come to this firehouse again. It took them 25min to make my sub. Not only that once they were done a coworker called out " A ". There was only two families in the restaurant . One that ordered before me and one that ordered after me. The one before had already gotten their food so I responded " I think I'm A" . Very good sub restaurant. I had the hook and ladder sub and it was delicious. Their bread and meats are unbelievably fresh!!! My son had the turkey bacon ranch and it was super good as well. Their tea is fresh brewed as well. Tons of different sandwich choices to select from. Try it fully involved. They also have a lot of good chip choices. This location is right next to SeaWorld and once again the parking lot is small and hard to get in and out of in a strip mall! My husband loves firehouse and so do I! I love that that as for service they always greet you upin entering! It makes you feel.like you matter! Also I really do miss all of that Hot sauces theyvused to have but since covid that's no longer a thing! Thats OK because where it really counts are the subs! My favorite things is the app! Woman with no uniform on but her stomach hanging out of her shirt threatened to slap my sister because she asked her to stop speaking rudely to her. My sisters specific words to the employee were "dont speak to me like that", nothing crazy, and the employee said "someone come help this girl before she gets slapped" The store was completely empty and they took an hour for our mobile order. I came free for a medium sub when I was attending a conference at the Orange County convention center. There were 2 girls behind the counter. One of them was new but she was so sweet and helpful. We made some small talk while my food was being made. The sandwich was great. It comes standard- I didn't have a lot of choices for toppings to put on top. Maybe that's normal. But it was my first time at a firehouse sub place. The sandwich was tasty and they weren't stingy on the amount of meat they included. Normally I love my Firehouse Subs, however my visit to this location was very disappointing. First walking in I asked about the hot sauces. At many locations you can find a display rack of different hot sauces available, and the signage clearly invites you to ask about them. None at all were there except the one they sell in the bottles. Trying to ask questions was like pulling teeth, with the employees preferring to gossip among themselves than interact with the customers. Finally the last straw: they forgot my pickle skyrocketing my displeasure greatly. I can overlook the bad service but missing my pickle was like getting a sundae with no cherry on top. 1 star! read more

Stopped by on my birthday to pick up my birthday sub and of course lunch for my co-workers. I ordered 4 subs with some modifications. The subs were made exactly as they were ordered. They had all the subs made in 10 - 15 minutes. Co-workers were all happy with the taste and temperature of their food. If you stop in right at lunch time expect a line and to wait a little longer as they get very busy. Parking can also be a challenge. A large sub is around $10 and to make it a combo you will spend an additional $3 or so. I feel the food is always worth the price at Firehouse I will be back. read more

This restaurant is filthy. The staff was very rude and it took them 20 minutes to make one sandwich. Restaurant hours stated they close at 10PM, but the lady working evening of 11/1023 aggressively stated the dining room was closed at 9:15pm when I tried to eat my sandwich there. I love coming here before work for lunch. I always get a vegetarian sub (fully involved) with BBQ sauce and extra pickles. Wonderful and filling meal for about $6-$8 (depending on the size), I usually get the small or medium and am always full after just the sandwich. Talk about service! I guess I come here too often! After my second visit, the staff know my order down to the pickle! They are always friendly and helpful. They interact will all guests, new or veterans as though they are family. Pro Tip: come in AFTER you order your drink from Starbucks in the same plaza, you get a percent off your order! (I think it's 10%, don't quote me please). Not sure what's happening at this location I have been a regular since 2014 when a worked as the GM for Buffalo Wild Wings next door and I live about a mile away. The service and cleanliness has been on a decline. Today wife and I stopped in for our favorite subs and the floor and tables were dirty. The unsweetened tea urn spigot was not working though it was full. I told a young lady who was making sandwiches and she immediately walked over opened the top then totally submerged her gloves hand down into the tea to do something with the spigot as we poured our tea then she went back to the sandwich line resumed making sandwiches no glove changed. There was a empty tea urn behind the full one she should have poured the fresh tea into the back up then removed the spigot and put it in correctly instead of sticking her hand into the tea every time someone needed a unsweetened tea. The whole wheat bread was nice and soft too. Food Cons: They went a little too heavy on the mayo, and the tomato wasn't ripe (hard and a pale color). ---------- Establishment was clean, well lit, and they had one of those really cool multi-flavor digital Coke machines!!
