This was the best firehouse I have been to. The sandwich was way better than anywhere else. The employees were exceptionally kind.

The location was extremely dirty. The worker Hope was yelling and cursing at someone. After the altercation I tried to get food. She started taking her anger out on me after I asked her to stop sniffling over my food please. She called me a Ni**er. Told me that we were on government assistance and to get our cotton picking asses out. She profiled me for being black meanwhile I don't know her and i'm just visiting from NYC. 1. When we entered, all the staff was sitting at back tables. They did jump up when we came in. 2. The place was filthy. Tables were dirty. Bathroom was dirty. My feet stuck to the floor each step. Our table was covered in crumbs and trash from previous customer. 3. Food- My husband ordered a toasted sandwich but every bite, the bread was soggy. Slowest firehouse in the history of firehouses. Waited 20 minutes for my sandwich and there was no one else in the place.

So stopped here on my way to Florida because I absolutely love Firehouse on ny road trips. However it was a very poor choice....... I ordered 3 sandwiches.... I waited 31 minutes for them. 31 minutes!!!!! The employees appeared wholly unconcerned with the delay. In all of my years eating at Firehouse I have never experienced something like this. Several things from tonight's visit: -person behind the counter kept mentioned they were understaffed and were slow to acknowledge the customers waiting in line. 3 individuals left without even being able to place an order. -Second person left the store to go buy a vape at the store next door, while someone came in to get food. The above mentioned comment is one instance of "understaffed". -Open sign was turned off at 8:15 pm. Their hours state they close at 9:00 pm. This is the worst restaurant I've encountered in the last 40 years. We tried to order on their website, every time it rejected hi because it timed out due to their server. I restarted my phone, I tried a second phone, then I called them up on the phone. The woman that answered was the dumbest person I've ever spoken to. Absolutely disgusting service. We waited at the counter for atleast 10 minutes while the lady kept walking by and laughing at her Apple Watch. Finally the lady making the sandwich told her to take our order. Instead of greating us she just stared us down. So finally we just say hi and start to order I tell her I want a meatball sub... she then stares me in my eyes for another 30 seconds before I finally say "do you need help?" Then she begins putting it into the system and then throws away our receipt and walks away. Then it takes another 20 minutes to get our food. First thing I noticed were cigarette butts everywhere, along with trash. The glass doors were disgusting, nasty, greasy prints all over them. When I walked to the counter, the girl taking orders was arguing with another co-worker and then decided she would take my order. The wait time wasn't too long, but when they gave me my order, the bag was also nasty, covered with grease from their hands, the box my sandwich was in was also disgusting. Always clean and really good. The staff is friendly and some have been there for a good while. Most firehouse locations are the same(clean and good food),but the Cobb's ford location seems to be a step above. The parking is a nightmare due to the small tight parking lot,and the insufferable Starbucks is next door as well. When I say insufferable it's not politically motivated. I've never liked Starbucks coffee even before they showed their true colors and then folded to sjw's. I would never hold that against the quality of the food or the staff that works hard and does their job correctly. read more

I got a dry sandwich with no condiments and cut up tiny pieces of toppings which was nothing like the pictures which showed actual slices of cucumbers and bell peppers. Fast, friendly and convenient to everything. I was staying here in Prattville for a family matter. I was able to put together a quick picnic for 5 in a matter of minutes and everyone loved the subs: meatball, Italian, the Hook and Ladder and the roast beef. For a fun day take your food about two miles up the road to Downtown Prattville and check out the Children's Place Park along the river. My family tried Firehouse Sub for the second time this year. The service was quick and the staff was very pleasant. We usually order the veggie sub and I have to say that it is really good. Honestly it was like walking into a funeral home. There was a seated couple enjoying their sandwiches when me and my 14 year old son entered the restaurant. No other customers in sight. There were three employees behind the counter. Not one of them acknowledged us when we entered nor when we stood for at least 2 minutes staring at the menu board. No "Can I help you?", "Did you have any questions?", nothing. Keep in mind we have never been to a Firehouse Subs outlet before. When we finally made our way over to the register to order two of the attendants just stared at us?? No welcome? May I take your order? Did you have any questions? Nothing. The female attendant and one of the males just stared at us for a solid 4-6 seconds before I finally said "You first...." to get them to say something which they did not. This was absurd as I am the paying customer?? I was so incensed I was not sure what to do. Finally knowing my son was really hungry I let him place an order to go. After this chilling experience I had no intention of spending a dime more in this place. I just wanted out. Leaving we made our way down to Smashburger in the same plaza where I ordered a burger. My son sat and opened his sandwich discovering it was so oversaturated with oils the sandwich was not edible. I had him take it back for a refund or a redo which they did. In the end for a first time visit it was very discouraging. It was hard to tell if the poor service was due to the fact I was not caucasian, they stink in the area of service, or they just don't like paying customers. Hard to tell.
