Aye this is the best firehouse subs I've ever set foot in. The customer service was amazing . Of course the food was good also or this review wouldn't be here . I finally gave the spicy Cajun chicken sandwich & it was exactly what I needed for lunch. Y'all need to give this sandwich & this location a try. You won't regret it‼

I ordered on Uber Eats, and in the special requirements section I wrote "make with extra love" and since they were all out of love, they gave me a cookie instead! Paul, if you're reading this: you're a real one.

Dirty and poorly kept restaurant. We were served our meal in a filthy box (picture). I'm nauseous when thinking about eating here. Clean the tables, clean the drink machine area, wipe the patio tables, present and serve food in clean boxes.

The product is good enough but to take a really small cup ( the 2.99 version ) then fill it less than half way is not impressive - lots of options in area so tighten up fire house - loaded potato soup -

HOLY DELIGHTFUL TRANSITION, Batman!! Left my doctors office and felt hungry. Saw that there was a Fire House nearby. I downloaded the app to see if there was any deals or online ordering. Luckily there were both. I ordered my sandwich and was able to pay through the app. I arrived just under 10 minutes after and was greater by the friendly staff. I let the young man at the register know that I had ordered online. As soon as I gave my name another young guy came up saying, "I just wrapped this as you were walking in ". I was promptly handed my cup, given my receipt, and directed to the area with the chips and drink machine. It was a nice, smooth, effortless transaction. My sandwich was delicious and fresh! Glad I stopped in!

The best Firehouse Subs in all of Raleigh hands down. The employees actually care about the customers here.

That brings me to the next point. If you go on the busy days be ready to wait long sitting times, is not because of the place itself but because people will overextend their stay and because the local is small it could fill up very quickly. On my visit here I waited over 50 minutes to be sit. Rather than a critic is more of a heads up so that it doesn't take you by surprise. To touch on the food a little bit, I specifically got the breakfast burrito and it was incredible enjoyable. Got some fries as a side and some mushrooms and everything was tasty and fresh. If you aren't sure what to order you won't go wrong ordering that. I would suggest that it be nice to see a traditional american breakfast on the menu. 9/10 would definitely come back!

Drinks: I ordered a matcha latte, iced with oat milk. I knew it was a mistake as I watched them make it and the match came out of a squeeze bottle. My mom ordered hot black coffee, claiming it tasted burnt and was undrinkable. Mains: I ordered the strawberries & cream pancakes which came with three extremely tiny pancakes, that tasted like whole wheat. The "fresh jam" was overly sugared and had a smoothie like consistency. For $16 I was hungry and disappointed. My mom ordered the grain and egg bowl, wait it was underwhelming. Shocked there are so many positive reviews.

This will now be my go-to place for a delicious sub. To save myself time I ordered thru the app. My order was ready on time. I will admit that I ordered the sub dry so that I could put my horseradish/mayo dressing on. There is no place to eat inside. Weather permitting you can side outside. Parking is limited.

And parking is not the easiest, you will likely find yourself in the Harris Teeter garage. But the wait is worth it. As a NJ native and something of a sandwich aficionado, I have a rather discerning taste for a good sub sandwich. So upon a friend's recommendation, I went with the classic Italian. It came with prosciutto, hot capicola, genoa salami, and sharp provolone cheese. Note to everyone: Go for the sharp provolone, not mild! The first thing I want to say about this sub/hoagie is major props for the bread. It was crusty with sesame seeds on the outside, pillow soft inside. About the only thing I would wish is that it was semolina bread. Outside of that, kudos for the bread. Plenty of meat on the sandwich, which is key. I HATE HATE HATE when I order a sub and they give me something like three or four slices of meat. Not gonna name names...but that's not an issue at PH. I really like the grab and go options for various food items like long hot peppers, broccoli rabe, pickle chips, and dirt pudding. Excellent addition. I'm taking a star off since they only offer bottled drinks, you can't get free refills. No brewed iced tea, that's only available in bottles too. I'll at least forgive them for having Pepsi products since that's a Philly tradition. I'll definitely return to try their Italian tuna, chicken cutlet, and roast pork options.
