Breakfast Sandwich
Matthew H.

Some much needed grub after a workout. The white cheddar pimento on this sandwich is amazing! I love the flavor combo of the sandwich. A modern touch on an old traditional egg sandwich. Grabbed some sweet potatoes fries to pair with the sandwich and a side of aioli. Love the ambiance and chill nature of this market.

I need 6 SIX stars! Ladyfingers should rename themselves licking fingers. Because that might be what you are going to do after sampling what they have to offer. OMG. I've been sleeping on them but never again. Had the Carmel cake, and the tarragon infused chicken salad, and the vegetable soup and the cheesy grits and soon to try the pizza. Not all at one time, silly bean! Multiple trips, live and in person, and frozen takeaway. Everything I have eaten is what food should be. Now I am going to be very, very sorry to tell you this because I'm gonna need to elbow you away from the last container of Brunswick stew in the frozen food case.

Delish! Came here for lunch and ordered sandwiches. Sat in the patio, plenty of spots with shade. Fries were amazing!

Ladyfingers is the best. They have fantastic sandwiches and salads. They are known for their ready made ham biscuits and delicious casseroles. Big fan of the enchiladas that have a little kick to him. I love the Black Eyed Peas salad. And their chicken salad is one of the best in town.

French fries! Killer!

The BEST French Fries I have quite literally EVER EVER EVER EVER ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever EVVVVER had in my entire life. WOW. Also MUST-try is the breakfast burrito. The Whitaker sandwhich and wagyu sliders also a solid option for lunch. Menu changes day to day and on weekends they have exclusive items which is my only gripe but also keeps it kind of fun and exciting - just not when I'm craving my breakfast burrito! (Weekend brunch hours only I believe until 3pm)

Lots of seating

Wowzer, Sensory overload of where to explore first. An eatery, a deli, cozy couches, eclectic art and gifts. In addition to frozen gourmet to go meals (which includes pizza & the infamous ham rolls), a bar with beers on tap. I committed to staying focused and wandered over to the deli counter and filled out my form to put in my order: A Hillsborough with a side of Mediterranean pasta salad. My lunch was served with a warm and fuzzy feeling because as she was handing me my order she stated " We are so glad you are here". The Hillsborough is reminiscent of a classic beef on weck down to the bun. It could have used a bit more horseradish and crispy onions to balance out the saltiness of the beef but solid sandwich. The Mediterranean pasta salad was AMAZING the perfect amount of dressing, the ratio to feta, olives, tomatoes to pasta was perfection.

This place has a nice ambiance but there were several things that left me disappointed about my experience. I came with my boyfriend on Saturday morning, looking forward to getting the Michael's English muffin breakfast sandwich that is on their online menu. Turns out they don't offer it on the Saturday breakfast brunch menu, which is fairly limited. A little annoying considering it's got the same ingredients (egg & cheese) that their brunch menu items have, and they have the English muffins available for sale. I ended up getting the breakfast burrito and my boyfriend got the açaí berry bowl. The açaí bowl ($8.50) ended up being a yogurt bowl essentially, and it was pretty small. My boyfriend is an açaí bowl fan and was surprised the price was on the cheaper side, but when we actually got our food it made more sense. The menu item name is misleading because it's not really an açaí bowl. The breakfast burrito ($12) was also pretty small and didn't come with any sides. The filling had good flavor, however it was somewhere between cold and room temperature. So that was disappointing. I also ordered cold brew and a water from the coffee bar and the woman working wasn't very friendly. Also, she asked "tap water or filtered?" So I said filtered. She handed me a cup and said I could get water from the back wall (the other side of the restaurant). A little odd for an expensive place like this, but ok. I walked over to where she said and it was a water fountain next to the bathrooms... Also it didn't work right - while I filled the cup under the vertical bottle spout, water also shot out from the front spigot. So this was all pretty disappointing. The guy and college-aged woman working were very courteous. And the interior is very nice. But most things at this place just feel too overpriced to be worth it for me.

The "ham" sandwiches open to reveal no ham.

Ladyfingers relocated to a spiffy new spot in Raleigh with seating and a larger fresh food and frozen food section. I had high hopes that their high prices would be justified with more offerings and a classy new setting. But I was wrong. I spent almost $350 to buy very overpriced frozen entrees and appetizers to take to my sister and her family while she was recuperating from surgery. I got a few items for myself to make sure what I gave her was as delicious as I hoped. It started out bad and went downhill from there. The chicken pot pie was tasteless with stringy chicken, a dry filling and thin, tasteless crust. The balsamic chicken over pasta was an unusual combination of flavors and barely edible. But the coup de grace were the ham sandwiches. Bragged on by the young lady at the cashiers station as her favorite, they had no ham. Instead the filling was a thin paste of too sweet brown sugar and butter with the slightest hint of a taste of ham. At first I thought maybe my item had the ham left out by mistake. I texted my sister with the photo and asked if she had any ham in hers. No, she said. False advertising. So buyer beware. If you want to spend a lot of money (think $40 for a chicken pot pie compared to a much better one at Fresh Market for $17), go ahead. Some of the choices may be better than what I purchased. But I won't go back and take a chance.

Brussels sprouts salad

Came in on a Sunday morning to use my Offline offer. I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised! They have a charming selection of local goods that would make really great gifts. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and nice. After explaining it was our first time in, the people working went out of their way to make us feel at home and answered any questions. We ended up getting coffee, The Whitaker, and the Brussels sprout salad to go. I wish we had time to stay and eat because the interior and outside seating was very cute. I loved the vibe and friendly staff, and can't wait to return! Also a big perk for me that dogs are allowed inside.

Taste was good but for the price you pay the chicken pot pie should have a bottom crust .

It's hilarious to me -- and honestly very fitting, considering I'm married to someone from…read moreRochester -- that my 1,000th Yelp review is for Wegmans. I don't usually review grocery stores, but I genuinely love Wegmans, and this location in particular is fantastic. The store is always immaculate, the staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and it's usually very well stocked every time I go. I'll agree with other reviewers that Wegmans can feel a little pricier than some other grocery stores, but I've never actually sat down and compared receipts because, frankly, I love the products they carry. At this point, I'm a forever Wegmans girlie. Also, they keep sending me 10% off coupons, so apparently the marketing team knows exactly what they're doing -- because I absolutely will drive farther than necessary for a good grocery experience. Beyond the standard grocery selection, their prepared foods section is HUGE, and the sushi is genuinely good. Grocery store sushi can be a gamble, but Wegmans does it so well they even opened their own sushi restaurant in NYC, which is a pretty fun flex. As a bonus, they carry all the essential Western New York staples: Chiavetta's sauce, Spiedie sauce, kummelweck rolls, Zweigle's whites and reds, Bills merch, Weber's mustard, Labatt Blue and Blue Light, plus several Finger Lakes wines. Big fan!

Well, if you know you know. And I could end my review there but you opened my review up to read…read moresooooooo ... F what you know about grocery stores because Wegmans is the King of High End Grocery. I'll immediately tell you that my star bump is because of cost and no dining at this location ("trust me bro", that's not really a major deciding factor). I've been to locations that offer up dining and amazing draft beer options, and costs at Wegmans aren't for the faint of heart but, in my Jim Carey voice, "lemme tell you somethinnnnn" ... their options will appease all types of food diets. Hands down, they have the BEST sushi options around. Fresh rolls, fresh sashimi, fresh nigiri ... the freshest and best you'll get at a non-Asian grocery store. Now you'll pay close to restaurant prices but it's well worth it. That is why I keep coming back to this location. And for beer and wine snobs, they got yo butt covered! I'd say 10-15% of the store is just wine and beer. Domestic and Foreign, as well as local. Gluten free brats, eat your heart out! I wandered down the gluten free aisle and got me some goodies! Gluten free Oreos and cereal . Wegmans brand is like a top tier option from Publix brand. And that's saying a lot, considering Publix brand is a galaxy away from Kroger brand. There are so many savory options here, including all the buffet stations. Listen, I just left here for my 5th time in (out of town but visiting for work) and will need to stop my review before my tummy forces me back there. Those in the know ... you're lucky to have this as an option here. Those out of the loop ... get some!!

Way over due…read more I never realized how lucky we are in Raleigh to have so many good Arabic bakeries until I tried looking for them in bigger cities (Atlanta, Philly, D.C.) that are apparently completely bereft of good Arabic groceries. Jerusalem Bakery & Grocery has most of what you need for cooking Arabic food I will say flat out its the best pita bread on the east coast. When i visited other cities family there would ask me to bring pita bread when I came. The meat, cheese and spinach pies are fantastic. The cheese pies are my personal favorites. The family that owns this place is really nice, and will be even more pleased and solicitous if you show a genuine appreciation for their food. Oh, and they have a dessert that I can never remember the name of, but which is also wonderful and difficult to find - it's the one made of filo dough with cheese inside and attar (the sweet sticky sauce) on top. I have yet to see it anywhere else in the U.S, and they do a good job of it. Like many bakeries, they bake early in the morning and sell until its gone. So best selection and quantity is going to be in the mornings. For the visit on Jan 7, 2025, I got 3 meat pies, 12 cheese pies, 4 pita bread bags, and 1 sesame date cookie package which is also a favorite of mine. Total $51.14. An important pro tip is that the pies and pita bread all freeze great. so go ahead and eat 1 pie while its warm, because it likely will be, and then quickly freeze the rest. Then, warm it up in a toaster oven.
