Absolutely disgusting. We ordered and had to wait 30 minutes for our order when there was one other order ahead of us. While I was there, tea was leaked all over the counter. This was an awful experience. We were here from out of town and excited to try Firehouse for the first time. When we walked in, no one greeted us. We stood at the register for several minutes before someone came to help us. Again, said nothing. Just stared at us from the register until I said "are you ready" and he just nodded. I assume he was new because he had to relay every single question to someone else. We ordered 4 sandwiches and a kids meal. All 4 sandwiches were wrong. We checked the receipt and he typed them in correctly which means the girl making them just didn't care to read it. The kids meal was just a sandwich in a box so I asked if it came with someone else like the photo. The girl sighed and said we can pick chips or a Rice Krispie treat. I then had to ask if we also get a drink for it. Luckily there was a stack of fire hats on the counter so we could continue to make our own kids meal. The place was so dirty. It wasn't crowded, yet almost every table had trash on it and under it. The floors in the whole place were so dirty, the soda and tea machines look like it's never been cleaned. This is one our go to places when we come to Saint George. That being said, we walked in today and the place was filthy. Trash on the floor, appeared to be mold on the drink machine, dirty on the counters by the drink machine. We turned around and left. Out of five girls standing behind the counter not one of them took the time to clean the disgusting door after I made mention of how filthy it was let alone wiping the soda machine, tables or walls and the bathroom was filthy too. On Monday March 4, 2024 3pm we stopped by our favorite sub place, Firehouse Subs. There were three tables occupied when we ordered but every table in the place was dirty and had not been cleaned in a while the floor had not been cleaned either. The glass door and all the storefront windows were really dirty, too. All the employees retreated to the back room when not taking orders. Please have someone do their job as no one wants to eat in a dirty restaurant it makes one wonder how clean the kitchen is. There were four employees there just talking and laughing among themselves. I've ordered here several times for my employees. They like the food, but the ordering experience is extremely frustrating. The phone seems to be turned off... been trying to get through for days! I also tried calling corporate and their phone also does not get answered, simply directing you to go to their website. I've read that since the acquisition, their customer service has all been outsourced overseas. I was told over email that I would have to go to the restaurant to place my order (for a future date). The staff is very uninterested in doing their job. Unfriendly and bothered by their patrons. You're better off going to any of the competitors in town. This chain has really gone downhill. I've always liked Firehouse Subs which is why I stopped there on a trip through town. This is by far the worst Firehouse I have experienced. The sandwich was decent but the service was slow and it was one the dirtiest restaurants I've ever experienced. The restaurant wasn't busy and there seemed to be plenty of help, but most of the employees were outside talking to friends. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise it wasn't busy. read more

Firehouse Subs has always been a fave of mine. Sadly, this location was an utter disappointment. My large sandwich was completely screwed up. No mustard (asked for extra), no onion, two small bits of pickle and one slice of a peppercini (I asked for of both). They also don't offer the famous relish!! The employees clearly looked high as a kite and their lack of interest in serving us was clear. The floor and drink fountain were unbelievable filthy and sticky. Employees (6 of them) could have cared less about the stores appearance and two young men working (blonde and brown hair) were focused on their phones every time I looked up. Avoid. Here's why....I told them I was allergic to dairy so I didn't need any dressing and I did could not have any cheese on my salad. They acknowledged this. Some of their combos are a bit bizzare and read the fine print of items so you aren't surprised or disappointed. No respectable Jewish deli would ever sell italian dressing on pastrami. But I know they ARE NOT a Jewish deli so customize to get what you expect. Salads also available. Lots of turkey, ham, italian meats, cheeses, and yummy roast beef. Fully loaded means tomatoes, lettuce, onion, pickle...Mayo and something else, I forget. Don't forget the dill pickle if you are a pickle lover. The large is enough for normal people to share. Big appetites can just go for it! Chips and a drink round this meal off perfectly. Indulge and treat yourself to a cookie. Treat yourself to trying some of the Firemen sauces on the side (bottles can be purchased). While you are in a mental "happy" place give a donation to the local firehouses.
