We were on a long road trip back to LA when Capriotti's popped up on the map, so we called in our order to have it ready when we arrived. You can never go wrong with the classic Thanksgiving Bobbi. It had been a few years since my last one, and I completely forgot they offer both a cold and warm version. The staff was kind enough to re-grill mine, and it tasted perfect especially with a side of gravy. We ordered two large Bobbi's, one large cheesesteak, and one large chipotle chicken crunch. Prices have definitely gone up since our last visit because our order totaled over $100! But the portions were generous, we all had leftovers for another meal, and everything reheated beautifully in the air fryer. I just wish there were more Capriotti's locations in LA, we only ever get to enjoy it on drives to Utah or Vegas. read more

I wouldn't recommend. The place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years dust on the lights and are bent over where they make the sandwiches. Saw an employee handle money while wearing gloves and never change the gloves. The floor still has stickers from the Covid. Lie on it. The furniture looks like it's been through some horrible experience and never updated. Honestly, the whole restaurant just looks like the owner gave up and let it go to hell the soda machines battered soda all over me while I was filling up my cup. I have just much soda on me as in my cup, which tells me the soda machine hadn't been cleaned and God knows how long. I'd say if you wanna avoid food poisoning eat anywhere else however the employees seem nice. also takes a long time to get the sandwich and the sandwich sandwiches aren't that great I'd say Subway makes a better sandwich and Subway sandwich sandwiches are disgusting. read more

Ordered from the app 2 small sandwiches of my favorite variety (Wagu Cheesesteak & the capastrami) & I Added sweet & hot peppers to the cheesesteak bc it's my fav guilty pleasure. Got home, ready to devour my delish hot sammies after a long day of chasing kids & running errands just to bite into a steak sandwich with no said guilty pleasures & a capastrami without the coleslaw. WTF. The audacity & treachery!!!!!!!!!!!! And to add injury to the insult, BOTH sammies were literally not put together. This store is garbage. Not only are the sandwiches double to price that they were a few years ago basically but they can't even take orders correctly. Several times now, we drive home OVER AN HOUR to unwrap our 2 sandwiches (that cost $50!!) to discover that instead of no veggies they are literally FULL of veggies then the guy answering the phone at the store argues with me that we didn't specify no veggies and says we can drive back (and spend another $35 in gas!) with the sandwiches and get a refund. NEVER supporting this poorly run shop again, the days of it being decent are GONE. We supported this place for 10 years after we moved from Vegas to Utah so it's very disappointing. read more

You really want to like this place. You really do. Then... if you're lucky enough that they have the ingredients on hand to make your sandwich (odds are- they don't, but no one working there has mastered the, 'We're running low on product; time to order more' concept)... you begin to notice just how filthy the place is. You really want to ask one of the employees to run their finger along the floor under the tables. Pretty sure the last time they cleaned under there was also the last time they had the ingredients to make the sandwich you want. It's really nasty. They claim they don't have the entire menu posted... cuz there's no room for it. Corporate would find that interesting. And here's a pro-tip... customers don't want to hear the employees dropping the F bomb while complaining about their nicotine withdrawals and their life decision to just keep on the road to lung cancer, while they're eating. If you're passing thru St. George and you're hungry for Capriotti's, hold that thought until you get to Vegas. So many locations there to choose from. We ate here a couple of days ago and not only was our food delicious but the service was beyond amazing! They recognized my baby looked flushed and helped get us ice and a cool rag to put on the back of her neck. They also let us know that when you order the largest size sandwich you get a free grill cheese. They also told us the "small" would probably be plenty for one person. We ordered a small bobbie, tasted just like Thanksgiving! and we did a custom large ham and cheese for my 2 kids. Disappointed. I have been a fan of this location since they have opened. My issues are not related to any part of the covid requirements placed on eating establishments. My issue has everything to do with two inches of bread on each end of the sandwich with no meat, no cheese...just bread. And the flavor seems to have disappeared from the sandwich altogether. I had the worst experience with Saint George shop! I ordered on-line order with 20% tip for 2 sanwiches and 2 chips for curb-side delivery. The only good experience about this was at least the sandwiches were made right! The on-line order said the order would be ready at 5:15 in which my husband arrived in the parking lot and called the store phone number as requested for curb-side delivery. But no one answered the phone!. He then went inside and waited while the only one customer was placing their order. My husband said he was picking up order for Linda in which they JUST STARTED MAKING THE ORDER which was supposed to be done. There were three people working so not sure why the order was not done earlier. After my husband received the sandwiches he said there was chips in the order, the clerk pointed at the display of chips and said "Pick what you want" not sorry for not noticing the order contained chips as well as sandwiches. We visited the St. George store yesterday for the first time. They were short staffed, like most places nowadays, but the food was great. We were impressed how 3 very friendly employees handled a very busy lunch rush. It was a bit longer wait but worth it for their hot cheesesteak sandwiches. The hot BBQ chicken with the crunchy cheddar onions was really great. The meats were not deli slices but roasted and shredded. Next time, I can't wait to try the hot roasted turkey, cranberry, & stuffing sandwich. Thanksgiving on a bun! read more

Great sandwiches. Traveling out of town and wanted to try a place we don't have at home (interestingly, I didn't realize we have one in the greater SLC metro area; found that out after going there). We have friends and family from Vegas who swear by this place. I have to admit they have a pretty darn good pastrami and turkey sub. I ordered the Capastrami which had grilled thin slices pastrami, Swiss, Russian dressing and coleslaw on a sub bun. Pastrami was excellent. Not chewy like a lot of deli places. Lean and melted in your mouth. I love how they grilled the cheese and the edges had that crunchy chewy consistency after it melts on the griddle. I'm weird. Just the right amount of Russian dressing to add some sweetness and creaminess and then the cold slaw was crunchy and fresh. Fantastic. I ordered mine with slaw on the side because my devil children (whom I love dearly) would not accept slaw on the sandwich. I put it on myself and was very pleased. My wife got he Bobbie which is basically leftover thanksgiving dinner in a sub. Served cold. Pulled turkey (combo of white and dark meats), stuffing and cranberry dressing with some mayo mixed in the meat to add creaminess and moisture. I was a little surprised it was served cold but the whole thing works very well. Main thing for me was the turkey was moist and tender (not the typical dryness associated with leftover cold turkey from the bird). They were very generous with the cranberry sauce. I loved that. If you don't like cranberry much, I'd ask for a lighter serving of it. My son got the chicken philly sandwich and was pretty impressed (he loved he marinara sauce on it). All in all a successful and tasty lunch. Even though I now know we have one at home (or at least in the same metro area) I still will come back to Caps when I'm back in St. George. By the way, do expect to wait a few minutes for your sandwiches to be completed. We got there at lunchtime on a Saturday and there was a line about 8 deep when we got in. It took about 15 minutes to get our food. Worth the wait though. Not your average sub shop. read more

This place was so good, a group of us (6 people) agreed to eat lunch here two days in a row! This store is located in an outlet mall with plenty of other choices for lunch, so that is saying a lot. Day one I got the Capastrami. Wow! The combo of the hot pastrami and the cool cole slaw was just magical. The "small" sandwich was huge. Felt no need to add on a bag of chips. Day two I got the Cole Turkey, just as delicious as the first only the turkey was cold. Kinda wanted the hot/cold combo again. Oh well, no love lost. Between the 6 of us a little bit of everything was ordered- sandwiches, subs, salads- no complaints from anyone! I wish I had had the family vegetarian with me, they have a fairly large veggie menu, more than just Boca burgers or bread loaded with veggies and cheese. Service was fast and super friendly.
